*Then click on the Recyclebank logo (upper left) and you will be redirected to the homepage
*Scroll down and look to the right for a banner (like the one pictured above)

If you’re new around here, you are probably wondering what the heck RecycleBank is!? RecycleBank partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling; households earn RecycleBank Points that can be used to shop at over 1,500 local and national businesses. Once you have signed up for an account, you can start earning points immediately by clicking on the “Earn Points” tab and taking quizzes. You can then use your points to purchase high value coupons for groceries and/or discounts at online stores. After signing in, click on the “Get Rewards” tab and you’ll be able to start scrolling through the rewards they have available.
I just took a 3 Q quiz and got 25 points. It’s under EARN POINTS. Jst FYI.

I took the 3 question quiz for the cat food and got 25 points also. I also took a 4-5 question quiz for Dove and received 25 points. 50 points for watching a short video and answering a few questions about it. That was soooooooo easy!!!

I’m still confused about Recycle Bank–can someone help me out here? I live in an apartment complex–is this totally off-limits to me or what? I do recycle; it’s just not the same way a homeowner would.
You can check on the website to see if Recycle Bank is in your area. If the curbside pickup isn’t in your area, you can still use Recycle Bank’s website to accumulate points and redeem them for coupons, etc. All the ways that have been posted to earn points are available to you, you just wouldn’t be able to earn points by recycling with them. 🙂 I love Recycle Bank. I get Diet Coke and Kashi coupons from them that save me a lot of money.
I was about to ask the same thing. I don’t live in an area with curbside recycling =( (I know!).. so I was wondering if it was even worth it to only do the surveys.
My area doesn’t have curbside recycling either, but I do manager to rack up points from quizzes, free points that Collin posts and some products (like Ziploc & Kashi have codes inside)
how long does it take for the points to be credited?
Ashley…usually it’s done immediately…if you refresh your page you’ll see it. But sometimes it can take up to 24 hours….HTH.

COLLIN….IF YOU’RE READING: Any idea when the next SWIFFER deal’s gonna be on? They were supposed to be on twice a week starting last week. So far this week…NOTHING!!! I had 2 forms filled out with NO SUBMIT BUTTON….I sent in screen shots. They sent me back a DEAR JOHN letter, telling me to try next week…blah blah blah….Well it’s next week…and THIS Dear John is STILL waiting….LOL.
I couldn’t get the Aveeno to work but I am building up slowly my points with these smaller tasks.
