Kellogg's Passport to Adventure: Earn Gas Cards, Concession Cash & More

If you are planning to stock up on Kellogg’s cereal in the near future (or maybe you have quite the stockpile already?!), then you’ll want to take note of Kellogg’s Passport to Adventure Game which started back in April. Simply purchase specially marked Kellogg’s products and you’ll earn points that can be used to snag gas cards, concession cash and more.

Here’s what you need to do:

* Purchase one or more of the participating products found here; keep in mind that you need to look for the specially marked products that contain one code inside the box.

* Head on over to here to register/log in with Kellogg’s. Once you have registered, click on the promotions & coupons tab and then click on the second banner ad which has the Passport to Adventure game advertised. You’ll then be able to enter each unique 16-digit code into your account (one code is the equivalent of 1 point); you can enter up to 8 codes per day and 30 codes maximum for this program.

* Redeem points for your choice of Disney Pixar CARS 2 themed prizes that will be shipped to you for FREE (see some of the prizes pictured below); Please note that codes must be entered and redeemed by 6/30/2012.

In addition to the Kellogg’s Passport to Adventure Game, you can also earn Cars 2 prizes by purchasing specially marked Kimberly Clark products through September 30th!  Certain Kimberly Clark products (such as Scott, Cottonelle, Huggies, Pull Ups, Kleenex and Viva products) will contain a special code that is worth a certain number of points that can be exchanged for the following products:

*$10 prepaid Visa card – 50 points
*1 Cars Movie Ticket – 50 points
*Cars 2 Mattel Die Cast Car with Light and Sound – 35 points
*Crayola Color Wonder set – 35 points
*Cars 2 Mattel Die Cast Car – 20 points
*Crayola Giant Coloring Pages book – 20 points

I got my $10 gas card from Kellogg’s from their last promotion and it was a dud! I activated and everything online as it said, and followed the specific directions for how to use it, and…..nothing. Tried it at 3 places even just be sure. So disappointing!

Did you ever call Kellogg’s to tell them you couldn’t use the gift card?

    • Amanda C.

I have done the Kellogg’s promos many times and gotten the $10 giftcards. The thing with those is that if your total was over $10 and they tried to run the card, it would be declined. You would have to pay your balance down to $10 and then have them run the card for $10 and it should go thru. I usually use them on Amazon and just send myself a $10 Amazon giftcard and use the Kelloggs card to pay for it. Or I will just buy a CVS giftcard for $10 and use the Kellogg’s card to pay, that way I don’t have to worry about weird balances left on the card.

      Hope this helps you. πŸ™‚

I was going to agree. U have to use it for the amount or less. i usually spend 10 pay the tax so my total is exactly ten then tell the cashier it is a gift card/credit card that needs to be ran for that amount. i get these kind of gift cards as a reward from a survey site and have no issue as long as i do not try to use it over the amount on the card,

I got 2 of these gas reward cards from Kellogg’s, and gave them to my hubby. He went to the gas station and asked the cashier to give him only $10 worth of gas, and paid by that card.(used as a credit card, and told you could use it only one at a time) It is a bit confusing how to use, but worked. Hope you can find the store let you use it.

I followed the specific payment directions (as others posted below, and as it states on the website when you activate your card) at 3 different locations (one gas station, two grocery stores). I’ll see about contacting Kellogg’s to tell them I have a dud. Thanks all.

Thanks Collin! And don’t forget if you were collecting Toy Story 3 points to cash those in. It doesn’t look like you can transfer them over to the Cars 2 promotion, so you might as well use them.

Awesome! I just bought 4 boxes of Cocoa Krispies at Kroger this weekend on sale for $1.98 minus the $5 gas card I just “bought” = .73 cents per box!! And that was without coupons!

  4. Jamie

I just sent away for the $10 gas card and ordered a $5 one. Since u do not need receipts, u can use the boxes of cereal for both rebates. the $10 promo can be done 5 times and the Cars2 is 30 codes per promo period which is till June 2012

Not sure if this is a one time code, but it was sent to me last night via Kelloggs as a free bonus code:

    9NGB-HVZH-CKP1-934G

    Hope it works for all!

    • Cynthia

I tried it and it says it’s a duplicate. Thanks for sharing, tho. πŸ™‚

How many boxes of cereal do you need to buy to earn enough points to redeem for a prize?

    • Jamie

For the $10 gas card promo u need to mail in 10 upcs from certain Kelloggs cereals, the $5 promo u just enter codes online from specially marked Kelloggs products. U can earn stuff with one code (like a screensaver of Cars 2), but 4 gets the $5 gas card.

      • Vivienne

Thanks for your help Jamie! Have a good weekend! πŸ™‚

Where can I get more info on the $10 gas card promo where you mail in the 10 UPC’s? Is there a website where you print a form or something? TIA!

  8. kelsey

I have boxes from a few months ago, will I be able to use those?

  9. Maria S.

Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t understand why so many are all about the gas card, unless you don’t have kids, or I guess a boy since the gifts seem to be for boys. If I find the offer on cereal we like, I will definitely be using the points on something for my son. I sure hope the soccer ball isn’t a mini one, will have to check it out more if/when I find the appropriate cereal and register.

    • destinee37311

it is a size 5 ball which is the largest size ball.

I just bought 4 boxes for $1.88 each–but I didn’t have my coupons on me…so not sure if there is a coupon out there for fruit loops and pops cereal…I went to Macey’s in UT. I am excited to enter the codes. Good deal, if it works out!

I still need one more Toy Story 3 cereal box code to get that silly little alien light. If anyone still has an unused one, could I have it? I have a Victoria Secrests $10 off $10 catalog/internet coupon code (expires June 1) to trade for it. Thanks. E-mail me at longgleggs8 at hotmail dot com.

Anyone have any codes they are not using? I would love them! rbsts@excite(dot)com

  14. Kat

I’ve got 10 toy story 3 codes that I’m wanting to trade for cars 2 codes. Please email me at Huckaby@cmaAccess.com if you are interested.

  15. Kat

For the UPC’s, Yes! You can get five of the $10 gas cards, up until 12/31/11. Just be sure to include each set of 10 in a seperate envelope.
