Right on time, I have one in training. 🙂
That’s a cool item! I could have used it a few years ago.
Lol, oh this is great. It’s like a litter box liner for toddlers !!!
exactly what I was thinking!!
LOL!!
Genius!! I’ve been using leftover plastic grocery bags but the are pretty big for our little Bjorn potty seat.
Cheap and easy – use cheap coffee filters to line the potty. They are thin enough to flush with the poop!
Never heard of this, what a great idea!
Love this idea! My little girl has been showing signs that it’s time to start training. I dreaded having the take care of that potty. YAY for this!
Sad to see more plastic to throw away. My 2 year old goes potty every 30-45 min during the day. That’s a lot of plastic bags to throw away in a day. I understand not wanting to clean out a potty. Why not just get a seat that fits on your toilet so there is nothing to clean out? Both of my kids trained on those.
I was thinking the same thing, although some kids simply won’t go on the “big potty”. I just rinsed out the little one, though.
That is what we use – I have twin boys and I swear, somedays it seems like I am in that bathroom every ten minutes with someone!! I felt guilty enough about throwing away disposable diapers, no throw away liners for me!!! The stool and the little seat on our potty works perfectly for us 🙂
Totally agree with you, Jenny B! I use reusable shopping bags at the grocery store and avoid buying bottled water as much as I can. so I don’t see myself using this any time soon. The more plastic we save the better.
I agree. My pediatrician actually recommends training with the seat that fits over the toilet seat. His logic is that kids always want to do things just like mommy and daddy, so have them use the big potty from the get-go and it might help them train a little earlier/faster.
BUT, I did request the free sample. Only because I just starting training with my second son now and we have been on the go quite a bit this summer. So I tote around our potty seat in the car with a store shopping bag as a liner (this would fit much better, though), just in case.
I would never use these at home but we are on the road a lot and have a little potty in the back of the car for road side emergencies. I have had more then one time where we’ve had a doosey and still had a while to travel before we could empty the potty. These would be perfect for use in the car, at least it if was tied up the smell would have to be a little better!
looks great for in the car or camping in the middle of the night! when it’s a long walk from the tent to the potty!
I have a foldable potty seat (the potette plus) that I keep in my car for emergencies while my youngest is still potty training. It did come with some expensive liners like these, but once I ran out I lined it myself with plastic grocery bags and absorbent paper towels. Over the past year my girls have had to use it maybe 10 times, but it has been so worth it (and saved the car upholstery)!
In response to another comment above, we bought a special potty seat at Home Depot for $29 and put it the most-used bathroom. It replaces the regular toilet seat and has two seats under the lid: one big one for grown-ups and one tiny for toddlers. It is always a hit when we have playdates, because most people haven’t seen anything like it. It’s been awesome not to have to deal with emptying a potty chair anymore!
