Wow! Thanks for getting this up so quickly. Now you can go enjoy your Father’s Day weekend & treat your hubby! Fantastic job, again! Thanks!

  2. Grace

I’ve been seeing blinkie coupons for $1/1 Post Great Grains Cereal

    • Jan

      I have found those too

  3. Mitch

Rite Aid is my least fav store but their food deals are usually pretty good.
    Thanks again!

  4. Annette

Just wanted to let you know that there are vv on: $1/2 M&M’s 9.9oz bag or larger exp 6/25; $.50 GE Compact Fluorescent bulbs exp 7/23; and then an OFF expiring 7/23 but I don’t have that one in front of me….

    • Collin

Thanks Annette! Just added the M&M and Off! Video Values coupons to the deal scenarios. Not sure that the GE May Video Values coupon will work since it is only valid for the GE Compact Fluorescent Bulbs.

  5. Ashley

Off topic- I went yardsaleing today and was pretty upset to see a woman selling a lot off tooth paste for a dollar and other freebies like the nettie pot thing for sale! I almost told her get what YOU and YOUR FAMILY need not so you can sell a dozen tubes of tooth paste and pads ect. grrrrr lol rants over 😉

    • Carla

I did too, and I am so glad she does all the work for me to help me stretch MY budget dollars! I can’t do it because of health reasons and responsibility caring for elderly parents. I am just so grateful to her for helping me out in a big way.

    • susanna

I see people at the flea markets here do this every week.Whole tables full of drugstore freebies.

    • Susan

I have been an ethical couponer for years. I abide by coupon rules, limits, etc. I have had a yard sale twice in the last two years and sold my overage. I make very little on my items, especially considering I’ve already paid our outrageous 10% sales tax, but it does help us pay for vacations to see our grandchildren. Your comment seemed a little condescending to me. Try not to judge until you know all the circumstances. BTW, the people who bought from me seemed grateful to get these items at a highly discounted price compared to what they would have paid at the store without spending their time or expenses involved with bargain hunting (newspapers, gas, taxes, etc.).

      • Danielle

Agreed- There is nothing unethical about selling left over stuff..it is still a bargain for the people buying some overage items..I too agree that it is condescending and judgemental. If you buy a car and sell it for a profit, is that unethical!?

      • kabaker80

I’m not sure about all coupons, but I know P&G has started to print on the coupons that they are not authorized if product is purchased for resale. I’m not implying that you are buying extra just to sell it at yard sales, but it’s something to be aware of if you really want to be an ethical couponer.

    • Samantha

I do the same thing. I am not a shelf clearer or buy things just to resell. However, several times a year I will sell off all the extra toothpaste, etc. that has piled up. Most items I sell for $1 and trust me, people who do not coupon are REALLY appreciative to save the money.Things like maxi pads I will sell for $2 and the women go wild! I don’t have a high mark up when you take tax into consideration but will usually take in $200 – $300 in a sale and it’s a great boost to my family, plus I am clearing things out of the house and giving others a great deal. I think it’s just another one of those judgement call issues. I personally donate quite a bit of my overage, but feel that having the sales is great, too.

      • croche

        Why not donate?

        • croche

Sorry, didn”t read the last line of your post. Why no donte more?

    • Amanda

I saw the same thing about a month ago!!!!! I dont think the comment was judgemental just a opinion… My problem with seeing this is, that when you go in the stores after the sales have started the shelves are cleared and some people can not get to the store the day the sales starts. That is why so many limits have been put into place. The reason this yard sale bothered me so much, was they had PILES AND PILES of stuff, not just a reasonable overage or extra.

    • Janice

That is their business as to what they sell at their yard sale. You would have been out of line to say anything negative about it to them.

      • Laura

I agree. People try to state their opinion on irrelevant things that I’m sure if thats what really upsets them, than thats a little obvious that they may need to reach deep down inside and find some compassion, or be humble, or just plain respectful enough to not open their mouth. Every head = a unique set of circumstances, a unique world. We do not know the lives of people enough to say they are wrong, or right, or whatever. ……unless we sleep with them, pay our bills along with them, know if they have a sick child in the hospital….or are grieving from the loss of a family member, or are losing their home, or have a hobby, or whatever the CASE may be, we don’t have enough information to form an opinion. We can only speculate, and usually our life and our happiness is involved when seeing the world through our own eyes. If you are a happy go lucky kind of person, you tend to see things in a much brighter way…. I think.

    • Brittnay

I do see your point. I was in Rite Aid a few weeks ago to do the Huggies deal and the lady who was in the aisle had multiple carts and had taken 5 carts worth of Huggies. While I was searching the shelves she asked if I was looking for Huggies and I said yes and she said I could stop by her house when she got home and I could buy them from her, she sells them for $7 a piece and doesn’t even have kids herself!! I was incredibly annoyed since I have a kid and I’m expecting and I had to leave the store without diapers and it seems like $7 is a lot of re-sell but thats just my opinion.
My RiteAid is good with couponers and called to another town who held diapers for me even after the week had ended so I could still get the deal.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

OMG Brittnay I cant believe what happen to you!! I feel so sorry…I dont have any kids, but I could imagen how expensive diapers are!!! I cant believe that lady did that to you. Im so mad. She was so inconsiderate and to top it off, Have the guts to let you know you could purchase them from her. THE NERVE!!!!! Girls this makes me mad. I know I should not be judging Theirs nothing wrong with selling what ever you have left over, but to purchase an item with the mentallity of reselling to make a profit is kind of not right. Every family has the right to get a deal with coupons we are not trying to resale and make a profit.
I used to be a cashier at walgreens, and I would tell couponers that if they wanted a large quantity of a certain item they could come the last day of the sale and get as many as they wanted. That would give the opportunity to every family to get a good deal. It was fair, since that led to us having plenty for everyone through out the week, without the shelves being cleared up on sunday. So this worked out perfecly =)
Sorry I dont mean to be rude, Its just my opinion.

      • Laura

We do live in a country where we can do just about anything………in respect with buying things. There is no law that say that that lady has to save any for YOU. Did you take it with the store? Maybe they just need to order more diapers. What if she had bought them without coupons? Would you have gotten mad at her? Probably not. Oh well that they ran out, I probably wouldn’t go to that store if they are constantly running out of things. Rite aid is very common for that. My store here hardly ever restocks on things. If you find yourself get annoyed at things like that, (and it really is very little) I read this book and it was amazing…its called “A New Earth” by Eckhart Tolle

        • kelsey

I wasn’t mad by what happened and I wasn’t expecting anyone to save them for me. I am skilled in the use of rainchecks. However, I was put off by the fact that she was charging people $7 ( the diapers are $8.99 without coupons ) so I felt like she was taking advantage of other who didn’t know h+-ow to coupon. She did use coupons, she showed them to me. I was not in dire need of diapers, I had plenty at home even without the sale but after my son is born I do not want to leave the house for a month so I am making sure I don’t have to.
As far as taking it up with the store – I did, they called a neighboring store and they held some diapers for me as this lady took the entire shipment my store received. I was not annoyed, I have a daughter – I have much more important things on my mind.

          • Laura

That is wonderful. I am not here to make anyone feel bad. I simply read some replies, and wanted to address that we put too much energy , even if its in our own mind to insignificant things. I recently had a pregnancy go bad, and I lost my daughter after having her alive for only 6 hours. After that horrible experience I am so much different, and things that mattered before don’t anymore. And I try not to assume, or get annoyed as easily as I used to. I can see where it can bother someone if the store runs out of something, but it is what it is. That she charges an outrageous amount of money for the diapers, well whoever buys them doesn’t think so. I personally don’t think $7 is cheap for a pack of diapers….but to each their own!

    • Ashley

oh man lol went for a walk and checked back at this and thought WOW! Because thats really not how i meant it, i didn’t mean to be judgemental (i now realize i was) and i’m glad for anyone who benifits from people like her but i thing is i’m a single woman and i, i guess im a minimalist to SOME extent so i really only buy enough for me to use and get by, so like i try my hardest to not have an over pile, i don’t know why, i just feel wasteful if i bought it when i didn’t need it and in my bit of a stockpile i only have a few things of each item and trust me i’m a shopaholic (and a bit of a minimalist…go figure how they go together…lol) and if i didn’t make myself pass up deals i wouldn’t and i’d spend money i don’t have to have that extra thing of tooth paste or this or that, basically somthing i wasn’t in need of. So sorry to cause trouble i didn’t try to offent sooo many people, i’ll watch what i say and yes mind my own business 😉

      • Susan

        Hey Ashley,
Thanks for your comments. You sound like a great person to me, and I’m sure you are not judgmental either. Just wanted to give you an example on how couponing helps me (and a lot of others, too). Since giving up my job to take care of my mother, I’ve had to really stretch our budget to make ends meet. So if I can buy an item that I won’t use because it is a moneymaker (like the Zyrtec at CVS last week), I can turn those ECBs or whatever into bread or milk or something that we need but won’t have to pay for. Since I won’t use the Zyrtec, I will put it aside for my next yard sale (being careful about the expiration date). I don’t condone people who clear the shelves just to try to make a huge profit (like the diaper lady), but getting a few good deals a week to help with my food budget and maybe trying to sell these items in a yard sale once every Spring or Fall, doesn’t seem too wrong to me. (Except for the P&G items, which I will need to check out now that I know.) Anyway, I guess I was a little sensitive because sometimes I’m made to feel like I am doing something fraudulent at the register by uninformed cashiers or beeping coupons, and I kinda felt that way when I read your original comment. Hope you have a nice day.

        • mouni

In my opinion it’s fine to sell the extra things you won’t be using. The people who bother me are the ones who make it a business and clear the shelves like the lady I mentioned below. She had a huge garage full of hundreds (maybe more) of the usual stuff we get at Rite Aid/CVS. BTW, she had a a beautiful big house.

      • Stacy

Ashley, I just want to applaud you for coming back to apologize that you may have offended someone. I’m not commenting on the original discussion or whether or not you should have apologized in the first place, I’m simply saying it’s nice to see someone (besides Collin) apologize for their mistake (whether or not it even was) instead of arguing it till the death. Sometimes things can get a little EXTREME on here 🙂

    • Megan

I can understand the yard sale thing. But where I live, you have to scramble just to get your papers and the shelves are cleared EVERYWHERE.. I was really into couponing and have given up because now I feel like it’s a competition to get there first to get a deal on something (survival of the fittest coupon style lol) SO if I was yard saleing and I saw people selling piles of freebies, i’d be upset too. A few extras is understandable, I donate a box every year to our local food bank of personal care items, since these don’t get donated often! If I got it for free or close to it, I would feel bad selling it when I could give it to someone who really needs it. On another note, i’m not so sure i’d trust buying such items from a yard sale, you just never know..

      • Ashley

i feel the same way! it seems a little sketchy box sealed or not…it’s sad you kinda have to feel that way nowadays 🙁

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

how do you know the people who come to these sales don’t really need it? They probably do and may be to proud to go to a food bank, or not so dire in need that they feel they should take from a food bank when someone else may be in more dire of a need, but if they can get it really cheap then they are better off too, so everyone wins. I have these sales when I can. My family comes to my house and shops and whatever I have left over I sell. Some items I do buy with the intent of selling and never using as we do not use them, but that does not mean I am preventing another from obtaining the items as well. I have a loyal following (most are very low income) that I email and some I even call as they do not have internet service and I let them know when I will be having a sale. The extra I make helps me to pay my bills so that I too do not need to visit the food bank taking from those that really need it. Open your mind a little and do not judge as your story has 2 sides. You can feel the way you do and practice it within your own life, but do not judge others if they have a different outlook.

        • Laurie

          Totally agree with you!

      • Nana

Well… not to be judgemental… I’m just saying. In my state.. if you sell a product such as at flea markets.. or out of your home, yada yada.. you must pay sales tax on the product sold.. regardless where you obtained it.. if you sell it for a profit.. then you must collect and pay state sales tax. Get caught.. and you pay any back taxes.. or estimated tax. (Yes.. I do know the law.. as I have a sales tax ID number and do pay sales tax on products I manufacture for resale) So… all the venders that do sell things they bought…..however right or wrong anyone else thinks it is.. the ‘man’ won’t care why your doing it.. just that he gets his cut.

        • croche

          Good info Nana.

    • charlotte

i agree with you. if they didn’t buy so much to begin with, they wouldn’t have all that extra. when the manufacturers find out, they will make if more difficult for us to provide for our families.

    • Dee

If the stores run out get a rain check. You come out better in the end that way anyway. And dont sweat the small stuff! Its toothpaste! And the netti pot drainer was USELESS. USELESS! I mean really USELESS.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

DEE, getting a raincheck is NOT the point nor the solution. I invest alot of time planning my transactions, and gas in NOT cheap in CA. It gets me mad when I want to provide for my family and end up seeing the freebies at my neighbors WEEKLY yard sales!! now REALLY…. REALLY!!!! Shes trying to make a business and Im trying to make a living!! Yeah not to mention trying to get 2 newspapers every sunday. It has become impossible around town. I feel like giving up, but my budget doesnt allow me, since my huspand is the only one working right now. This is sad! When I get out of church around noon theirs NOTHING left, but I know where I can find it!! At my neighbors HOUSE!!!! collecting bust in a shelf!!

    • Amy

Maybe the more ethical and MORAL thing to do would be for the person who buys it all to teach those “less fortunate” than she to coupon so that THEY have the same opportunities that she/he has. The people who buy the stuff at a reduced price are “so grateful” because they think that they are getting a deal, yet in reality the seller is really holding them at her/his “mercy” as their “savior” by getting them a “really good deal” on toothpaste. In reality, all that’s being accomplished is the seller experiences a heightened sense of importance while those “less fortunate” are still PAYING for the toothpaste that you got for free. If they really want to feel like they are doing the community a gracious service, donate the free items, sell the ones that you actually paid for, and hold a couponing class.

      • talula38

Amy, you took the words right out of my mouth!

      • croche

        Love your comments Amy!

      • Robin

        Very well put.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        You are so RIGHT!!!!

    • mouni

I saw the same thing the other day at a community yard sale. It was a guy who had all the stuff we get at rite aid for free, including makeup! There was also a lady who had garage sales every week and her whole garage was full of this stuff! I didn’t want to buy from her because at the time I had no idea where this stuff came from. It’s unfortunate that some people would do that and mess it up for others who just want to save money for their families. There is a savings forum where there is a whole thread about selling your stock piles at garage sales.

    • Robin

I HATE when people do this. If your not going to use it DONT BUY IT. And if you happen to buy more than you end up needing, then give it away. Don’t be greedy and make a profit on free items that other prople could have bought at the store. This is why I’m so glad CVS and Rite Aid are limiting. Yes, the yard sale and flea market hoarders can still get around them, but it is harder to do so.
I had a lot of extra stuff when I first started couponing and I gave away practical gift bags to my family. They loved it and I didn’t make a profit on it. I have no problem with people buying and donating to family, shelters, etc., But I HATE when people are so greedy that they hoard and then sell.
If I offended anyone with this comment, well, it’s my opinion so I’m by no means going to apologize.

      • melissa

Here’s my 2 cents…It’s the same thing that I tell my kids…Focus on you!!!!

        • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Maybe, I’m missing reading your comment. But, I think alot of the worlds problem come from people only thinking of themselves?

          • Erin

I think she means: instead of judging others faults, focus on your own faults. I’ve hard my mom say the same before haha. I think its a great mindset because judging others faults just gives yourself another fault, its almost hypocritical to be a judgemental person.

      • Melissa

I only shop for my family too, but there are times that I might over-buy or buy something we don’t like. I do donate (food drives and a woman’s shelter), but I also sell any stockpile items at my garage sales. I price between .25 – $1. And you know what, even though it may have been “free” with coupon or by using store money, I still had to take the time to formulate a game plan. I still had to pay for gas to get to the store. So I figure I am recouping *some* of that back. Now, I don’t go hog wild with selling, but I may put out 4-5 body washes, some toothbrushes, shampoo, makeup… whatever I have excess of, b/c while I do have a nice stockpile, I don’t want it overtaking my house.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

        Robin, I loved your opinion.

    • sandi

FYI … I happen to know that RA is very aware of the frustration over empty shelves and has started limiting the amounts of purchase and it is tied into the wellness card so they can keep track of it… there by having a better chance at all customers havin access to sales.

    • Laura

why would it upset you???? She’s not selling it to you, or forcing you to do it. Anyone makes a living the way they choose to. You may be judging before you allow yourself to embrace her. She may have a little one to feed, she may not, its none of our business. We all judge, we all think things, but we choose what we type or say, and we can not erase what we say or write.

Allow yourself not to attach yourself to others like that. You are in someway letting your ego attach to something that may not have malice, but simply if looked a little deeper may you wouldn’t get so upset. Bottom line, it does help not to judge so quickly. We are all the same at the end of the day.

  6. bali

BTW if you missed you on yesterday’s The Clymb – Teva sandal deal, they restocked the “Mandalyn” model and still have a few sizes left (6-8 I think) for $4.98 shipped! Thanks Colin!

    • bali

      *missed OUT*

  7. sleahy

does anyone know around what price the seattle’s best iced coffee 4 packs are. I want to use my overage from the $3/$15 coupons to get them.

    • tiffany

I haven’t seen the 4 pks at RA but they do have the singles so it’s a great place to use those Free q’s.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the HU Tiffany. I never thought about checking for the singles at RA. I am going there in a while, and I certainly will. 🙂 Much thanks to you.. I give you a gold star! 😀

        • alicia

my cvs had the single seattle coffee, used my free coupon

  8. Heidi

I can’t find the Prell coupon for the conditioner. Can anyone help? Thanks!

    • Brenda

You should be able to find it here www. adperk. com (remove the spaces)

  9. shonta

well since were all expressing our “opinions” here I really dont think it is any one person’s place to judge what another does or what their reasoning is behind it, and frankly nor do i feel its anyone’s concern what someone sells at their yard/garage sale. I also feel that as couponers and fellow frugal mamas how can we be so judgemental in todays economy. We dont know everyones personal financial situation and we all find ways to cut corners and make ends meet….we “do what we got to do”. So for some doing this may mean the difference between paying a bill or for school clothes for their kids every year etc…..so maybe next time some should not be so quick to judge and be so harsh….or better yet mind their own business =)

    • Janice

      Exactly!

    • Carla

      AMEN!!

      • rosie

I believe the original commenter already posted an “apology” if she offended anyone. Sometimes our text is interpreted differently than how we intended…give her a break and let it go girls! 🙂

    • Carol_R

Maybe because “resellers” are clearing shelves and are using coupons as a business. They are depriving others from getting the deals and I expect that the manufacturers are going to clamp down hard on all of us because of these people.

In the example above with the 5 carts of diapers, I blame the management of the store to allow the woman to purchase all of them.

      • mouni

Carol, agreed! We ”judge” because it affects all of us.

        • croche

Actually because in some cases “reselling” is illegal.

      • Robin

Yes, this impacts all couponers. Don’t believe me? Then why do P&G coupons now state that items can not be resold? Because of people reselling them. So, what’s next? Lowering coupon amounts? … already happening! People misusing barcodes by using coupons for items not purchased? New barcode system. Extreme couponers getting donated inserts? A crack down on the newspaper insustry for donating AND a lawsuit from SS, PG and RP against coupon insert sites.
Those of you who think this does not effect all of us need to look at the evidence and wake up.

Yes, we could mind our own business, if it didn’t effect us. But, since this impacts all couponers and I’m a couponer, then I have a right to comment on something that effects me.

  10. Melissa

Shouldn’t you use 1 $1.50/2 coupon since you are buying 2 items opposed to 2 $1.50/2 coupons? Or are the coupons $1.50/1?? –
Clorox 2 Stainfighter 22 oz., Clorox Clean Up Spray 32 oz., Toilet Bowl Cleaner tablets 2 ct., or Wipes 75 ct. $3.99
Get a $1 Single Check Rebate #48 (when you purchase 2 items; limit 4 rebates)
    Buy 2 Clorox 2 Stainfighter 22 oz. $3.99 each
Use 2 $1.50/2 coupons found here (there is also a $1/1 Saving Star coupon available)
    Pay $4.98
    Get a $1 SCR
    Final Cost $1.99 each!

    I calculate 3.99*2 = 7.98
    less 1 $1.50/2 = 6.48
    Get $1 SCR = $5.98
= $2.74 each. Get $1 deposited to saving star.

    • Collin

Woops! I meant to say $1.50/1. Thanks for catching that!

      • Melissa

Great! I was on a computer that didn’t have a printer, so I couldn’t ck the value! That makes it a great deal as i am need Clorox 2!!

        • Melissa

Well, just got my ad and looks like my area got screwed out of the cleaning supplies AGAIN. Don’t quite understand the reasoning behind the regional differences?! Do they not think people in the south clean??

          • Carol_R

I don’t know but in the DC area the prices here are a lot higher. Unless the price is stated in the ad, I can guarantee when I go to the store that it will be $1 – $4 or so higher.

  11. Kathryn

Could you use the Video Value for Samy Fat Hair Products on the Hair dye?

    • PG

Unfortunately, you shouldn’t. Fat Hair is a line of volumizing treatments and stylers (here: https://www.fat-hair.com/)

The Fat Foam hair color is not part of that line, as you can see at the site I linked above.

      • Cheryl

The video coupon says Samy Fat Hair Item….although they are not the same line they are the same company right? I will check this out tomorrow when I go to purchase my weekly items.

  12. photogirly12

hey collin thanks for the help! Could you please put up cvs next?

    • Melissa

er…CVS is already up. The post underneath the Disney code.

  13. Shonta

I apologize.if I sounded short and it does stink when people like the lady with the diapers gets carried away…..that being.said I guess since this whole extreme couponing show us couponers have taken alot of flack from non.couponers that I don’t.think we need it from each other.also I have a family.of five….my partner and I have 3 boys who eat ALOT so sometimes it seems like I buy.alot and I’m do have.a small stockpile but we do use the stuff and I dont clear shelves lol. I also give alot of stuff away not to charities but to people who.need it….gave a family of.7 a whole trunk full of groceries toiletries and household items last week who barely make it every month….the parents are both deaf and the children are all hearing impaired 🙂

    • Ashley

it’s ok with me, i wasn’t clear enough with what i meant to say, have a nice day! (i love your name btw) 🙂

      • shonta

        =)

    • croche

      Nice!

  14. Vicki

Thanks Colin and thanks to all who contribute and help make this blog a positive place to come to and save for the family and facilitate donating. Thanks 🙂

  15. kelsey

    I did! Good luck!

  16. Brenda

Just some more coupons to make your deals a bit better. There’s a stride coupon in the 5-15 SS that is $1/3 so you could get 3 free, actually if you bought 4 you could get another up reward to make it 4 for free! There is a $1/2 nabisco cookie coupon in the 6-19 SS to add to your Oreos and get them for $2 each. Also, if the sale on M&M’s include the pretzel kind (they usually do!) there is a new $1 coupon in the 6-19 RP. If you had 2 of those you could get each bag for 1.49. I believe the Kingsford Charcoal Saving Star coupon is gone, it says it’s sold out. I’m not sure if you already saved it to your card if you will get to use it anyway. Just a heads up! Thanks for all your help, Colin!

  17. Beth

How about the promo from Facebook for the $5 Youth code Rite Aid store coupon?

  18. sophie

Collin – Thanks soooo much for everything you do! I had a fabulous shopping trip tonight! Went to Wags, CVS & Rite Aid. Between the 3 stores I bought: 2 – Zantac, 2 – St. Joseph’s aspirin, 2 – Fat Foam Hair Color, 2 – Stride gun, 2 – toy trucks, 6 – Colgate toothpaste, 2 – Scotch Tapes, 1 – bag Hershey Bliss, 1 – Prell Conditioner, 1 – foil and 1 – dozen eggs. And made – $1.16!! Yippee! All the stores had plenty of sale merchandise…which hasn’t happened very often lately. I’m back to being excited about couponing!!!

  19. Kathy

Help! Can anyone clarify this question with the new Rite Aid policy? Should stores accept my +UP and “adjust down”? I wanted to use a $3 +UP reward today and the cashier said she couldn’t adjust it to my $2.97 total. I read Collin’s link to the official policy and it isn’t clear. It does say that the +UP should be used for “up to that amount and not exceed that amount” but does that mean they could/should adjust down? Is it up to the stores?

I thought I’d pay nothing today in two transactions and ended up paying on both, plus my second transaction was $2.98 and when the $2.99 +UP reward for that didn’t scan, she didn’t give it back. I didn’t realize it until I was gone (we were in another county for a party). I’m disappointed that I had OOP costs, plus lost +UP today.

    • mey

It’s YMMV with Rite Aid. Some associates will adjust the price up or down so you could use the +up. However there doesn’t seem to be a clear policy about it. As for your +up reward not scanning, she should have given it back to you or tried another way to get it to scan. I would contact the store about it.They may be able to help you out depending on how coupon friendly your store is.

    • Melissa

I was told they cannot adjust down, that if your subtotal BEFORE tax is less than your UP
(2.98 trying to use a 2.99 UP), it won’t go through. I would contact the store manager about the cashier keeping the UP. If s/he won’t do anything, then call CS to get it straightened out.

    • terri

I was also told they can not adjust them down.

  20. joeblack91

I have a question about Video Values. I attempted to use 2 Video Value coupons on two seperate items. The coupons were for the same item, but they had different names on them. The cashier told me I could only use my coupons and not someone else’s coupon. I said the other coupon was from a friend. She kept repeating, “You can only use your coupons.”

Has anyone else had a problem using two of the same Video Value coupons with different names?

    • terri

I think you’re only supposed to use video values from your own account.

    • Annette

My mom and I swap VV all the time and I have no problems using ones with her name on them and vice versa….

  21. Clarissa

Can’t find the Clorox 2 deal advertised in their ad. They tell me at the store it is not on sale. Am I missing something?

    • april

The store by me didn’t have it on sale either. The regular price was 5.58, but walmart is cheaper than that regular price so I passed on it.

  22. sheteachme

I am having a really hard time with my matchups this week. None of the coupon $ amounts are matching up to what are in my circulars (i.e my Colgate is .55, not the $1 and both the Coppertone and Hawaiian Tropic are only $1 instead of $2). What am I doing wrong?

unfortunately, coupon amounts are regional…and some regions have much lower coupon values. The east coast tends to get higher coupons than I do on the west coast

I was just at rite aid. I bought the Prell conditioner for 3.99 used the 2.00 off coupon and the wellness card gave me another 1.00 off so I paid 0.99 plus get the 2.00 rebate!! Side note…Thanks for all you do. I couldn’t find all the deals without you!!

Check your receipt if you are going to buy Zantac, or already bought.

I just bought it and it rang up at $9.71 (regular price $10.79 less my 10% Wellness discount) instead of the sales price of $7.99.

I did get the $2 +UP printed. Went to the car before I checked the receipt and noticed the price error and went back to the store and the cashier modified the price down with manager approval and refunded me the difference. The cashier and the manager were surprised that it rang up at the regular price but +UP reward printed.

Noticed the Kid’s StyleScience sunglasses were all sold under different brand names though they were all on the StyleScience kid’s sunglasses rack. Didn’t really see any mentions of StyleScience on the tags.

Anyone had trouble using the StyleScience Video Value coupons @ checkout?

Or if you already bought the kid’s sunglasses, do they show StyleScience on the receipt?

    • Brenda

After running into the same situation as you (no styles science tags on the kid’s sunglasses) I bought adult ones and used the coupon with no problems. My receipt shows SS FOLIO PLSTC MOD SQ for the sunglasses. I bought 2 different styles and they both rang up as the same item description. My guess is the SS stands for stylescience. Depending on how friendly of a store your RiteAid is you could ask if they have any children’s Stylescience sunglasses left? If they say no, ask if they would allow you to subsitute another brand for this week’s deal. My store regularly has subsitutes available when they run out of a sale item.

Heads up on what looks to be a great deal on Got2B stylers esp. if you have some coupons. SCR if you purchase 6/26-6/28.

  28. Krystal

Does anyone know if they sell the suave professionals products for the free coupons?

I have a couponing question when working with riteaid if anyone can help! If the flyer says “limit 2 up rewards per household”, I’m assuming they track that by using your wellness card, right? Does that limit of 2 have to be in seperate transactions, or can you buy 2 toothbrushes and get both the up rewards in the same transaction? Thanks in advance!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

They track by your Wellness account, doesn’t matter if you purchase 2 in the same transaction of separate transactions.
