I got this coupon insert in a local paper yesterday, and it requires you to purchase an Herbal Essence or Aussie shampoo product. But, maybe the FREE Aussie or Herbal coupons from the facebook giveaway can be used for that, if they arrive in time. I believe this coupon expires 7/31

I got this insert yesterday in my local paper too and it does state you must purchase one Herbal or Aussie product to get the $3 off one Herbal or Aussie styler. Maybe the coupon will vary…

There is a PG insert in the paper this week and the coupon for Aussie/Herbal Essences is for $3 off one with the purchase of one… So basically $3/2 which is still a great deal!
would you be able to use the free product coupon on the herbal essences or aussie if you got one on facebook yesterday… and then get $3 off a styler?
We we’ll receive a P&G insert only (this is stated in their website) as I receive their emails. 🙂 The coupon is a Buy any product, get a styler free, so you could buy another styler, a shampoo or a conditioner and get the second free. About combining with their other free styler, this is going to be difficult unless you have on of those special stores around plus the coupon said 4-6 weeks and there may be deals before then anyhow. Next week they are 2/6.97 plus 1 ECB at CVS. So 2.48 for both after Q and ECB. 1.24 ea Not too shabby!
Also $1/1 on 6/15 RP so possible 2/1.48 if your CVS allows one Q with BOGO.:)
Both should be free if you use your fb coupon for free shampoo or conditioner and this $3/1 styling product coupon, right?

We can only hope but I think this will be a conflict in timing. I believe the FB Q was been mailed out 4-6 weeks and the P&G 7/3 expires 7/31. So if it gets here before then woohoo! If not we’ll have to match with pharmacy or store promo.
I haven’t bought a Saturday edition of the Minneapolis Star Tribune in a long time…does anyone remember if the P&G insert usually comes in it or do I have to wait until Sunday? Smart Source inserts were always in the Saturday edition, Red Plum never was, and I can’t remember about P&G. Just thinking I might as well save the $1.25 and buy the Saturday vs. Sunday paper if I can! Thanks guys!
Couldn’t you use this coupon with the new herbal essence free coupon that many were able to score? If you were to hold on to it, couldn’t you use both? I am new to couponing so please tell me if I am wrong?

I just got a $2 off purchase of 2 Herbal Essense/Aussie or Pantene products at the magic coupon machine. So for CVS shoppers, you could use the magic coupon and the $3 P&G coupon and possibly the FB coupon! I’m holding on to my for a hopeful MM at CVS this month! YIPPY!
Don’t worry kids, if you have a walmart near you, you can use the $3 on the trial size and get overage.
Not with these coupons. Again, P&G is very specific with their coupons. They never have allowed their coupons on travel sizes. Even in the “flubbed” phrasing of the e-mail Collin got, it says $3 off a full-size styler. So travel-size is out. ^^;
And why should we fret?

Don’t know if this has been mentioned, but isn’t the Herbal Essences on sale next week (like the Pantene is this week) for 2/$6.97? I haven’t looked, but there was a $1/1 Herbal or Aussie Q that would bring it down to 2/$4.97, plus I think there is a $2 ECB on that. Then you could use the $3 off styler Q to score a free or cheap styler. So 4 products for $3 more or less…? Any thoughts, feedback… confirmation on this one? I haven’t checked it out I’m too busy CLEANING to go out of town this weekend. :/

Agreed. Its no biggie that the coupon isn’t as hot as it seemed before. I think all of us Hip2 savers will have the cleanest hair for weeks thanks to those sweet P&G Hair freebies!=D
I just got this insert in our local paper today and did not see where it said you had to purchase another product. Will have to take a closer look at that.

Both of the coupons [the free one offered up to a 3.99 value] and this $3 off wyb a shampoo/conditioner, are both manufacturer’s coupons and can’t be combined together. P&G is very specific about one coupon for the purchase of the products and quantities stated. Since the latter coupon mentions two items, you can’t use a second coupon since the one attaches to both items.

Could you buy a trial size shampoo or conditioner and then get the $3 off the full size styler?
Nasty! Some other company does that, too. Saying you can save $$ off a particular product in the email, when you print them, it says $$ off TWO products. So annoying!
Could this coupon be used in conjunction with the free coupon they had other day on facebook?
