not at full price, but if we get discounts, yes it’s worth it. It allows you to brush through without flaking. Celebrity stylists use it for everything but especially up-dos! It’s the only hairspray I use 🙂

I know the price on the Elnett freaked me out, but a month or so ago I saw a $3/1q on Coupons.com and printed it randomly to round out a page of 3 qs. Low and behold I was perusing the aisles @ CVS one day and the Elnett was clearanced for $3.87, so after my q I paid only .87…AWESOME..I was STOKED because it is good stuff especially for up dos.

These are 2 separate rebates. There was an Oral-B Complete or 3D Action Toothbrush SCR #39 available from 7/31-8/6. This new SCR #572 runs from 8/28-9/3. 😀

As I stated at the top of these deals, the weekly ad that runs this week states in the fine print of the flu shot booklet advertisement that no purchase is required to obtain the coupon booklet. For this reason, you should be able to simply ask the pharmacist for a booklet even if you did not get the flu shot.

I just went to Rite Aid today to get the BOGO 1/2 off deal on the Gillette bodywash and deodorant but after several minutes of going over the receipt with the cashier, it did not pan out the way I thought it would. In your scenario, the cashier (or register) takes off the most expensive item (being the 4.99) which would indeed leave you to pay only 2.50 then get the $1 UP reward. In my case, the register kinda randomly took off alternating amounts. I believe I got 2 of the 4.99 prices knocked off then 2 of the 2.50 prices taken off (I bought 4 deodorants and 4 bodywashes by the way). My total came to 17.55 instead of 10.50 (thereabouts with tax for 4 items at 2.50). Did I do something wrong? I’ve saved the receipt in case I need to go back and correct this.
I believe you need to group the like items together price wise, so if the cashier scanned everything haphazardly, like a $4.99 item, then $2.99 item, the register takes 50% (or free item) off the 2nd item that was scanned and so forth. Do you remember how they were scanned?
Everything probably was scanned haphazardly. I was just counting on the register taking off the most expensive item. I believe according to Collin’s scenario, she was counting on that as well. You may be right…it may have been best to scan the items in a certain order but who thinks about that!? I was just excited to get a good deal. I guess it still turned out to be a rather good deal, just not as good as I’d hoped. I did get 3$ in UP rewards so it’s like I paid 14.55 instead of 17.55 for 8 items which makes it like $1.82 per item. Still a decent price.
Yesterday I did Old spice deal (deodorant and body wash) and my cashier took off 4.99 making me pay 2.89(with tax). So I think it depends on a cashier. Thanks Collin for all hard work you have done for us.
I bought 2 of the Colgate sensitive relief toothpastes today,and I did receive 2 up rewards for them 2.50 each,HOWEVER,there is no bar code on them?! My other ups printed fine,except the Colgate ones.It does list the exp. date of 9/17,but no bar code.

There was a bottle of lotion for $1.98 each (original is $7+) and I was using my $1/1 mf, but the coupon was beeping. The cashier said I can’t use an mf for a clearance item. I didn’t see that on the RA coupon policy..
Yes, you can use a manufacturer’s item on a sale/clearance item. I would contact Rite Aid customer service if you have any further questions about this specific issue as they may need to educate their cashier.

I never know when my wellness discount is going to kick in. I thought it only gave you a discount on rite aid brand products? I tried doing the nair scenario and I missed the $5 +UP by 12 cents because it applied the discount. 🙁 (You would think I’d be excited for a discount but not always)
I’ve about given up on Rite Aid, since this new coupon policy change, they refuse to let me use 2 coupons on any items, even if they aren’t buy 1 get 1 free sales. So sick of arguing.

the pharmacy wouldn’t give me the coupon booklet. they said that it doesn’t require a purchase BEFORE i make the appointment and get the flu shot to get the book. i showed her the ad and said it says no purchase required for coupon booklet and she said it means no PRIOR purchase. i’ll try again at the riteaid at the other end of the street in a bit. do you have a listing of what is even in that booklet?

for the listerine it was $4.49 down from $5.99, and i had a $1/1 manu cpn and a $1/1 riteaid cpn, and it came with the little listerine attached to it. i only got that because they didn’t have the toothbrush for $5.99 that is supposed to have a $2.99 SCR, and I needed it for $5+/$25 — which apparently wasn’t a real up reward offer or else my deal would have been better!

Well, each is $6.99 at my Rite Aid today. Bought 8 with the bogo. . and Used 2 coupons for $1.50/2. I have 20% off Rite Aid (almost 2000 pts). The clerk removed my 20% discount and said I couldn’t stack discounts and that I was already getting 50% off, and not entitled to 70% off. Should I take this further? I read the coupon policy, did I miss something? Paid a total of 10.99 for 4 = $2.75 each. Appreciate advice, I dont have a problem taking this futher, just want to be right before I do. Love you site! Really helps me save money on a tight budget.
