Kmart Double Deals 10/23-10/29
Well, it looks like select Kmart locations are at it again with another round of doubles valid, 10/23 and running through 10/29…and this time they’re doubling unlimited manufacturer coupons (limit 4 “like” coupons per transaction)! Select Kmart’s are offering doubling coupons for grocery, beauty, and health items up to $0.99 for Shop Your Way Rewards Members (NO Minimum purchase required) – which means you could possibly get a total of $1.98 off one product!
To find out if your store is participating, I would recommend looking at your weekly ad online here. In participating weekly ads it may state (usually in the grocery section) that they are doubling coupons up to $0.99 – See picture above. Please note that I would NOT recommend calling your local store and asking, as most cashiers and even managers are sometimes clueless that they are in fact doubling coupons.
I’m assuming the rules will be the same as they have been during previous doubles promotions. If that’s the case, then I would assume most of the rules below are correct. Let us know if you find out anything different.
Kmart Double Coupon “Rules”:
*You can use manufacturer coupons up to and including a $0.99 value (i.e. if you have a $0.75/1 coupon, it will be doubled up to $0.75 for a total of $1.50 off the price of the item)
*You must be a member of the Shop Your Way Rewards program AND the cashier MUST swipe your reward’s card at the beginning of your transaction!!*
*Limit 4 “like” coupons per transaction (that will be doubled)
*Does not include Kmart Store Coupons or Kmart Pharmacy Store Coupons (i.e. Kmart coupons will NOT be doubled)
*If you are not currently a Kmart Shop Your Way Rewards card member, do NOT stress! There are 3 simple ways to become a member:
1. Go to the Customer Service Dept at your local Kmart or Sears store and request a card; you will be able to sign up and receive your card immediately (this is obviously the best option if you have a store close by)!
2. Call the Shop Your Way Rewards Card dept at 1.800.991.8708; they will take all your information over the phone and then a card will be mailed to you (the card typically takes 6-8 weeks to arrive). Even if you do not have the physical card in hand for the double coupon days, you can give the cashier your phone # or member # in order to pull up your reward’s account.
3. Click here to sign up on-line; then just print off a temporary card to use while you wait for the permanent card to arrive in the mail.

anybody know if there’s a formula to when they run the extra 50% off toy clearance?
I work at kmart, we do it everyday, on the toys that are outside on the side walk. Yesterday we had clearance clothing for 99 cents. Seems every Sunday, that all outside or right inside the door the clearance is an extra 50% off. Our store has clearance all throughout the store. Just search for it. The clearance clothing inside is never on the outside ilses, so just look around. Clearance items in every isle.
at my kmart, the clearance is always in the outside aisles and in the main aisles in between depts. I am assuming it is different in every store though, so shoppers should keep that in mind. And the kmarts we frequent only have the “extra” 50% off every once in a while.
Our Kmart has racks outside (or inside main aisles), plus a permanent rack near food with “50% original price” items, plus a tiny stash of clearance items on a lower shelf within the health/beauty dept.

This is great news to us in Jacksonville, Florida who don’t normally have any stores that double coupons. I will be going to Kmart this week 🙂
I know what you mean, In Northern California we don’t have any stores that double. Even though I hate Kmart I will bring my binder and hunt for a few deals this week 🙂

If I have a $1.00 coupon… will they give me the extra 98 cents off in doubling it…. or does the coupon HAVE to be 99 cents or less?

I did this doubling coupons lasting time they had the deal and I loved it. The store I went to was extremely nice and helpful and I got a lot of items for super cheap. I will definitely be trying this again this time around.
Kmart is not the best place for coupons. They have the most ridiculous rules. Doubling up to .99 is nothing their prices are very high and nothing comes out free. I don’t even go there any more , I What ends up free are things I never use.
I agree with Katiria because the last time I brought my binder and searched all over for good deals. The only ones I found were the ones you had posted here. Everything else was absorbantly high priced. I did find the deals listed here on H2S though so not bad all in all.
Butterball Turkey Bacon. reg. 1.59 part of 10 for 10 promotion. Rang up $1.00 ea. at my store this week. Used the .65 Q’s, Doubling them ended up a .30 MM. SWEET 🙂

There are so few .99 coupons out there that this sale is pretty worthless in my opinion. My local Kroger doubles coupons up to $1.00 in doubled value (.55 coupon=$1 off, .75 coupon=$1.00) off. With the lack of .99 coupons and K-marts already high grocery prices, I’m better off at my Kroger store doubling lesser value coupons with lower store prices.
That’s awesome that you have Kroger to double… but for those of us who have NO stores that double, this is as good as it gets.
There might not be any $0.99 coupons out there…..but there are a ton of $0.55(doubles to $1.10) and $0.75(doubles to $1.50) coupons out there. I agree on their grocery prices, but you can get personal care items for pretty cheap and/or free when shopping there during the double coupon days.
Our Walmart will “ad-match” when Kmart doubles, which is really nice. Last time they did coupons up to $1 but this time they changed it to $.99. Narrows it down a lot, but still a lot of deals to be had. Checkout is horrid at Walmart though because their registers don’t double automatically like Kmart’s do. Worth asking your local Walmart, just in case 🙂
Watch out if you have a smaller kmart. Most of the items listed here are not carried in my store. If there is a particular item you are interested in, you can call ahead and see if they carry that item.

Last yr my kmart said we were only allowed to use a total of 5 coupons per day. The card narrowed it down and only allowed each customer to use exactly 5 coupons per day. is this still their policy?
Last year they made fresh rules for EACH time Doubling, ONE of those was only 5 coupons …. THIS time it is unlimited EXCEPT the “limit 4 like” Hope that Helps!
They usually put the 5 coupon limit when they are doubling up to $2.00

I agree… for those of us who DONT have any stores that will double, this KMart deal is nice. True, you might have to really search to find some good deals, but it’s possible.
Last time they did this I got some good cheap cleaning supplies. We will see what I find this time around.
anyone know the size of the 4 count sausage for bars they are on sale for a dollar so they would be free but it says 2.5 lbs or higher.
Extra is on sale for $1.00 and there are tearpad coupons for .50 double = free gum 🙂 The 2Lt pepsi max is on sale for $1.25 if you have the .55 blinkie coupons you’ll only pay .15 for a 2Lt.
I got some great deals at kmart when they were doubling up to 2.00. I wish they would do that again!!!
The hot dogs are limit 4 only if you want to 88 cent price. You can still get more, but for the 99 cent price. BTW, there is something up with the computers, as I bought 4 hot dogs w/coupon twice and both times it rang up 8 cents. You read me right – 2 cents a pack.
Our KMart had the hot dogs 2 for $1, so our 75 cent coupon doubled gave each one to us for free. We had 7 and split it up into two transactions. Also got the Shick shaving gel for 50 cents a piece.
I live in Northern California and the Kmart I went to to told me they will not double the coupon if the item is cheaper than the coupon.Like the jelly at 1.49 but the coupon is.75 doubled should go to 1.50they will not give any extra off,Anyone eles know about the California stores?

It does double up to the price of the item – I tried it today. For example, there was shaving gel clearanced to $0.80, and I had a $0.50 coupon. So the machine automatically took off the first $0.50 then recognized that it couldn’t double to the full 2nd $0.50 so it automatically took off $0.30, making the item free but without overage.
I have found that the employees at my Nor Cal K-Mart are rather ignorant when it comes to doubles. They seldom even know that doubles are happening until the register starts doubling. Yes, the coupons will not generally allow overage because the registers are smart enough to double up to the price of the item.
Also good deals on Gerber foods if you have the printables from a few weeks ago. I got Gerber pasta for a penny because they still had up the shelf tag showing (an expired) sale price of $1.11 and the nice lady believed me and manually marked it to that price and I had a coupon for $0.55 off which doubled. I could’ve done the “bounty” on it and gotten it free without coupons because it rang up wrong but to prove it I’d have had to go all the way back across the store for the tag and it wasn’t worth it.
