There was a $3 Estroven coupon that we printed a while ago that doesn’t expire until 12/31/2011. I don’t think that it’s available anymore. That would make the Estroven a $3 moneymaker if you happen to have that coupon in your coupon book.

It’s a rebate for spend $30 on Olay get $10 back. With the $20.97 from the purchase tomorrow and the $9.99 purchase from the gift set, that’s over the $30, so I could get $10 back. That sounds like an AWESOME deal to me!

Inside the Scrubbing Bubbles One-Step bathroom cleaner starter kits from a previous post being free at Walmart have a 3.00 coupons inside them (up to 2 of them)!!!! That makes these starter systems .49! Still a great price for sure!

My BOGO is coded with a 14, so the second coupon will beep. Some stores will go ahead and push through a second coupon, others will not.

Check the bar code on the coupon. If it has a 14 (believe it would be after the 5) then the coupon attaches itself to both items. Since you are only allowed 1 MQ per item you could not use another MQ. HTH
Maufacturers code coupons to make sure that you buy the number of items stated on the coupon. In the first barcode, the second set of numbers should be 64714 on the coupon for the bogo scrubbing bubbles. The 14 means it ties to two items. If it was 01, then it would only tie to one item and you could use a second coupon without any beeping at the register. If it was a 16 it would tie to 3 items as in a buy 2 get one free.

No, Walgreens attaches the coupon to the number of products it is for. Since the $1/2 is for two items, it attaches to both of them and you can not use an additional manufacturer coupon.

I purchased four (4) bags today for $8.00 and received a “Save $5 off your next Mars Chocolate Purchase over the value of coupon” (expires 11-27-11). The tag on the shelf notes you buy 4 to get the $5 coupon.
I notice the $5 off is a manufacturer’s coupon. Did anyone try to use it in purchasing another 4 bags? I just wondered if another $5 off printed? Even if it didn’t, since the candy is $2.50, could you not use it to get another two bags free?
Surely someone has done this by now. How did it work for you?
When did Walgreens Register Rewards start printing with “Reedemable at Walgreens Only”??? I am not liking this.
They’ve added that wording within the last couple months. When they did that, Jewel updated their coupon policy to state that they still take the Register Rewards, even if they say Redeemable at Walgreens only. 🙂
I found the answer to my own question. I purchased 4 bags today and used the $5 off Mars candy and a $1 off 2 bags and did not get another $5 off. When I tried to use another $1 off 2 bags, it beeped as I assumed it would as the $5 off is a m c/o and the $1 off 2 attaches to bags 2 and 3.

1) On the Swanson Broth the max for the in store coupon is 3, so the coupons for 5 was not helpful.
2) Also as previous post noted, the 50 cents on one French’s French Fried Onion coupon is for the 6 oz, but the one on sale is 2.8 oz.

Tonight I went into Walgreens to purchase the Revlon Tweezers (ours were priced $2.49 which would have been $3.73 and obviously coupons would be deducted down) The kids behind the counter would not ring it up with my coupons because he said it would be less than the value. I asked for a manager and the manager told me they do not accept manufacturer coupons and walgreens coupons because technically the walgreen coupons are store coupons. I called corporate because the coupon policy states, “When purchasing a single item, Walgreens accepts one manufacturer coupon and applicable Walgreens coupon(s) for the purchase of a single item, unless prohibited by either coupon offer.” They told me the coupons that say “Not valid with any other offer” means I cannot use them with manufacturer coupons. Basically, that is all of their coupons except the weekly ad. I have been shopping at Walgreens for over a year and have never been told this. I have a manager calling me back because I do not agree with or understand how this is suddenly being enforced despite no policy changes.
Has anyone else ever had this happen? or heard of this?

I have had this exact problem recently with Walgreens! The manager said it is against their policy to accept a walgreens coupon and a manufacture coupon since the computer was ringing up their store coupon as a manufacture as well. He told me the computer was always right so the corporate policy that I showed him was wrong. I kindly put my items down and did not purchase – he told me I needed to just get more fillers to cover the walgreens coupons!
Are you saying that you can’t stack anymore at Walgreens? I was in there a couple of days ago and had no issue stacking. If the manager said you needed fillers it sounds like you had more coupons than items, which is stated in their policy as unacceptable you have to buy some $.39 candy to have the same amount of items as coupons.

Hi everyone! I’ve been coupon-ing for a little over two months and whenever I think I have figured out all the “rules” for shopping at Walgreens – I find myself asking yet another question!
My question is about the Register Rewards. Can I purchase a product that will generate a RR (say Crest from P&G) and use that RR in the next transaction to purchase another product from P&G (say Pantene Shampoo)? The link that Colin (kindly) has to the Walgreens website states that “Customers redeeming a Register Rewards against the same offer may not receive another RR.” Is there any way this P&G scenario qualifies as purchasing the same product?

It depends on how the coupon is coded. Sometimes it will and sometimes it will not. If the RR is coded as the same one that will come out then it will not reprint.

Colin, I have a question on the 11/13 RP coupon for $1 on 2 Mars Holiday Products. I see that WAGS has the MARS holiday candy on sale for .39 cents and last year that coupon worked for those smaller candies. But I didn’t see that posted on here or any other site. Just wondering if you guys know something I don’t. There is no size restriction on the coupon. Is it regional? Thanks!
