   With all of the deals we get on Kotex at Rite Aid, I’m hoping everyone saw the Kotex tampon recall! I think it was Kotex Natural Balance tampons.

   thanks for the sample heads up..these seem to come inthe mail at hte perfect time and the make perfect for my pocketbook to keep them in the mail cases like that…its easier to hide them from my kids (theyalways think things wrapped in purple andpink wrappers is candy for some reason!)

    Just heard about this recall yesterday, it is not the U By Kotex but the type listed below. I got the info from MSN. Just wanted to pass this along in case any hipsters had any of these at home! Hope everyone has a great day! 🙂

    The recall applies to limited lots of Kotex Natural Balance Security Unscented Tampons Regular Absorbency distributed to Walmart, Fry’s and Smith’s stores in eight states. They were sold in 18-count and 36-count boxes with SKU numbers of 15063 and 15068.The products were shipped between Oct. 29 and Nov. 2. They went to Walmart stores in Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico and Texas; to some Fry’s stores in Arizona; and to some Smith’s stores in Utah and Arizona.The tampons were recalled after company tests detected the bacterium Enterobacter sakazakii, which could cause health problems, including vaginal infections, urinary tract infections, pelvic inflammatory disease or other, potentially life-threatening infections. Women with existing health problems, including cancer, HIV or compromised immune systems, are at higher risk for infection.

    The fine print says limit 2 per household, so I submitted the info twice. It went through both times. Just to see what happens, I submitted a third time, and it was rejected. So, indeed, you should be able to get two sample packs!

    Thanks!!!!! I don’t use tampons – so I pass them on to my friend who has two teenage daughters. This summer I was hailed as the rescuer of their swimming trip when they thought they didn’t have any tampons and then they remembered some samples in their car that I had passed on! Always nice to be able to make someone’s day brighter!!! 🙂
