I looked at my coupons that I printed and they were printed off from coupons.com. I think it was a few weeks ago and they probably are all gone? Maybe check Collins coupon database.

I price matched at Walmart a few weeks ago with the last ad Dollar General ran having the Libby vegetables priced at 2/$1. I had no problem. I chose not to purchase them at Dollar General because I wanted to purchased 60 cans but I did not want to clear the shelf at Dollar General. Walmart, of couse, stocks plenty so I didn’t even put a dent in the shelf. 🙂

did the libbys deal this morning. i had 4 IP’s. second 1 beeped and they said they can only take 1 per trans. so i said i only want 4 cans then. they said they would do 4 seperate transactions. just a heads up some may encounter this issue. they said the upc’s were the same and i said all the code #s were different, they didnt want to hear about it and checked the fradulent coupon list too.oh well at least i got 16 cheap cans of veggies.
From working at DG anytime you use the same coupon that makes you buy more than one item to get the money off you always want it rang up seperatly. I dont know why the register cant do it! Its too much for its little computer brain!
DG’s registers are like dinosaurs! I learned that its best to let them right up the first set of items, scan coupon, ring up the next set of items, scan coupon, etc.
I did this deal with the coupons 2 weeks ago when they had them 2 for $1 my second one beeped to. She told me she needs to ring 4 up scan the coupon then ring 4 more up and scan the coupon ect all in one transaction it worked.
The cashier had to ring 4 cans then scan the coupon and then ring the next 4 cans. Their registers are weird. I stocked up and got 44 cans, which i’ll be giving a lot to family. They had plenty in stock in the back. They said they got tons in for this sale!
last year when I did this deal around November 1 and the veggies were pennies less, the manager figured the same ring 4 scan coupon, ring 4 scan coupon etc etc.. she even told me to let all of her staff know on any duplicate coupon to proceed in this manner 😉
I went to DG this morning as well, the same thing happened to me. They said they were not sure why it wouldn’t accept more than one coupon so I ended up doing seperate transactions.
as someone else mentioned the solution to coupons beeping at DG is to scan 4 cans, then scan one coupon, scan four more cans, and then scan one coupon, etc. My store had individual cans on the shelf, but had cases near the register. My walmart only carries one type of libby’s veggies, and I don’t even remember what it is now -something like asparagus -no beans, peas, or corn.

Can you give me any suggestions. Every time I try to go through a blog to get a Nestle coupon (today it is the Tombstone pizza), they ask me to register or sign in when I click on the picture for the coupon. So I sign in and then can never find the coupon. I clicked on the little add for the Tombstone pizza but no coupon was offered. I am just about ready to never try a Nestle coupon again. Grrrr! Thanks for your help.
You have to click the coupon first, then sign in. It only took me like 6 months to figure that one out…

Did this deal this morning register will only accept one coupon per each 4 cans of veggies. Unless they scan 4 then scan coupon then scan 4 more then scan coupon it will accept them that way.
Our Walmart matches without ad, all you have to say is so and so has this for $1 and they do it, and some of the really good cashiers match what they know is cheaper at other stores without even mentioning it, amazing. Saves time chasing around for deals. All the baking deals at all the other stores I would have had to drive to, Walmart matched all of them no problem.
saw some upcoming deals this week for B1G1 at DG. Do you know if they allow 2 coupons with these transactions as long as there is no overage? Went to their coupon policy and it was unlear to me.

I got the Libbys coupon in the paper… I had 4 coupons and I used them at DG this morning the cashier scaned one coupon and then had to manually adjust my total because the register wont allow them to scan more than one in an transaction… I think its time to update there systems.lol
$ Store is usually a hassle w/coupons. The staff is very nice, but the computer system makes me cringe! I went to Wal-mart and price matched. I happen to have my sale paper as proof, but mine takes your word for it. I also found the canned fruit @ Wal-Mart. The peaches for 68 cents after the $1/2 coupon that came in the paper w/the veggie coupons. So I’ll be making peach cobbler or crisp this winter! Thanks, Collin.
I got several cans of the veggies at DG. No beeps by the register. In case the employees at your store do not know this, there is a way to get as many as you like, all in one transaction with no beeps. Have them scan 4 cans, then a coupon, scan four more cans, then a coupon. Keep repeating this until the end of the transaction. Works like a charm!
I read on the internet that food is one thing NOT to buy at the Dollar Store. FYI
I’m not a fan of Walmart by any means, but I would recommend price matching at Walmart instead of going to DG. I ended up getting nothing at DG this morning. I was told I could only buy four cans and use one coupon. If I wanted more, I would have to buy four more at each of the other two store. I explained that one per purchase meant one per purchase of four cans. but it was in vain. I finally said fine, I’ll buy four and my husband will buy four. Well, next, the coupon beeped and needless to say, they would not accept it. I finally said just forget everything and I will go to Walmart & ad match. DG is now on my list of stores that are more frustrating & trouble than they are worth (along with Kmart).
I used 22 of these today @ Walmart and they priced matched them! They were 75 cents @ Walmart and they adjusted Dollar General’s price of $40 down! I got 88 cans for $13.60! I purchased my coupons on eBay very cheap!
Not $40 down…I cannot type tonight! They adjusted them down to 40 cents!!
My mom actually tried this deal a few weeks back @ Dollar General. They were only going to take 1 coupon until she told them she wanted to do separate transactions to get the deal. They were rude and not very cooperative. They did do it, but we decided that Walmart would be so much easier, and they were! No problems!

Picked up 84 cans yesterday. I still have 16 more Q’s. I had no problem with having them scan 4 cans and then scan the Q, then scan 4 and Q.

60 cans for me. No problems with price match at WM
I price matched 8 cans at Walmart earlier this week. The cashier looked at the DG ad and told me that Walmart is only price matching major grocery stores now. She went ahead with it, but that tells me Walmart is changing (or has already changed) their price matching policy. She said they didn’t require the sales paper, because they would already have the few stores ads that they match. WOW! Since Target allows use of their coupons along with a manufacturers coupon AND you get 5% off EVERYTHING with the Target debit card, the ONLY reason to go to Walmart is for items Target doesn’t sell! Walmart was easier with the price matching, but if this is changing, I can’t think of any reason to go there!
