  1. BETZY

wow looks like a lot of work …. but well worth it πŸ™‚

  2. Naomi

Thanks so much Collin!! I’ve been waiting all day for this!! :-)! Thanks for all the time you put into doing all these deals for us! Have a great & safe Thanksgiving and enjoy being with your family!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re most welcome! Happy Thanksgiving! πŸ™‚

  3. Katie

Would you consider nail polish a color cosmetic? I’m referring to the $1/1 Revlon color cosmetic coupon from the Walmart mailer. I wasn’t sure… Thanks!

    • Ashley57

Other coupons I have used for nail polish that said cosmetics…and they are in the same section…

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmm, I think this will depend on your cashier/store.

      • mel

This one’s a beeper. Even though its the new bar code, the first number is a “9” and CVS registers for whatever reason, don’t accept q’s with a 9, and depending on your cashier may or may not override it.

    • coupons4

I contacted Revlon and yes nail polish is considered a color cosmetic.

  4. ANNIE

WOW! I’d have to hit up CVS if Im not too tired hitting up the big name stores!

  5. Brandi

The General Mills Cereal limit has been changed to limit 2, at least in my ad!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops, thanks for catching that typo! πŸ™‚

  6. Valerie

Already have my (3) transactions planned out. 167.39 worth of goody’s for 0.00 OOP. I’m so excited!!!!!

    • Valerie

Can you share your 3 transactions with us? I’m trying to figure out how to do the ECB without putting out too much cash first.

      • Valerie

I pretty much just got everything that was free/money maker or cheap and split them into (3) transactions. It’s too many to list but I was able to get everything I wanted for 0.00 OOP because I have 30.00 in CVS Gift Cards, 28.00 in ECB’s and (2) 5.00 off 25.00 CVS Coupons. But if you still want me to list it, I would be more than glad to.

        • Valerie

          Hi Valerie,
          It’s Valerie from Connecticut.
No need to post all the 3 transactions, as I thought you were doing this without any ECB or gift cards. I don’t have either, so I was trying to get all the freebies, with very little OOP.

  7. Tracy H

Thank you so much for posting this! CVS will have to be my first stop this year πŸ™‚

  8. Jenna

On the Mars singles candy, the ad scan I saw said limit was 4? And you have listed limit 1. Which is right? lol

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oops, it’s 4! Thanks for catching that!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks! I’ll add that in the post!

      • decaturmomsy

I think you have to have an UPC?

        • Julie

Click where it says “Don’t have a UPC?” and it gives you one to use.

  9. Steve S.

Hello Collin, my name is Steve and I am a couponer from Hollywood, CA. Your website has reached Hollywood!!! I just wanted to say thank you for all your hard work, and you have by far the number 1 couponing webiste in the world!!!! Thanks again.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Awe, thanks, Steve!! I sure appreciate that!! πŸ™‚

  10. Emily

Does anyone know if the Excedrin ECB has been reset since this Sunday’s deal? I already got it once, so I don’t know if it will go through again.r

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe it’s the same deal, just valid all week long!

      • JOHN

I was told that it resets as Sunday’s add is only for 4 days and a limit of 1 and Black Friday is limit of 2. That is what my Store Manager told me.

      • Karen T.

It’s a different event code so you should be able to get another free one on this ad also!!! πŸ™‚

  11. mac

so do you use the ecb when you get them to make it free?

  12. amanda

can you use the .75 (or maybe it was .55?!) GUM coupon from the 8/8 paper on the toothbrush deal? I don’t have the coupon anymore, so I forget what it said exactly

  13. Ashley57

Can we get rainchecks on all of this stuff?

    • Karen T.

Yes, you should be able to get rainchecks…

      • Melissa

rainchecks will only be issued on regularly carried items

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks!

  14. db

For the money maker deals work with respect to the extra savings? For example, for the listerine pocketpatches deal, say you have a previous Ecb for 2.49 and you use that with the $0.50 coupon. Will you have to buy something for atleast $0.50 to make up for the negative amount or will they not accept the coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

If you use a $0.50 off coupon, your total will be $2.49 and then you can use a $2.49 and pay $0 out of pocket! πŸ™‚ If you ever have overage, CVS will just adjust them down.

  15. Brianna S

I also have a 1/1 Total coupon from the inside of a Chocolate Cheerios box which can be used for the sale. Not my favorite cereal but better than free is pretty awesome!
Also have a 4/2 Advil coupon which does not exclude trial size. Not quite sure where I got it from. Also there is the .40/1 Kleenex Cold Touch which came with my sample Kleenex.
I don’t believe CVS gives overage on coupons, instead their system automatically rounds them down. I know though that the theraflu products will be grouped together and therefore the extra amount from the 3/2 on the two .99 products can be applied to the two 1.87 products.

    • db

      got it. Thanks!

  16. Amber

    Collin,

On a scan of the ad that I saw the Listerine pocketpaks say it is limit 2 per household. I have already done my scenarios and your post stopped me in my tracks. I double checked and made sure that it is indeed 2. Thanks!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Oops, thanks for catching that!

  17. Sarah

Hi Collin, thank you so much for these awesome match-ups! For the Colgate MaxClean, etc. deal is there supposed to be a link to a CVS coupon?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      LOL…oops! Sorry, it’s been a long day!

  18. leah

What time does this start? Thanks

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe most stores probably open at 8AM on Thursday…BUT please contact your local store for hours!

      • Beatrice

Collin I’m confused as to when these deals start. The ad includes Thursday/Thanksgiving Day but that’s not “Black Friday”.

        • Kmom

Most stores are starting earlier this year….starting Thanksgiving Day calling it a pre-Black Friday sale. To leah: I called mine just to check and they had their regular business hours 8am on thurs and 7am on friday, but call yours just to make sure.

          • Racquel

Last year the 24 hr stores kicked in at midnight. So well worth the trip.

  19. Colleen

Collin, how come some of these deals you advise to use a coupon, whereas others you advise that NOT using a coupon is the better deal? I’m confused why using a coupon is only a good deal part of the time.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Based on the limit of the deal, sometimes its an overall better deal to not use a coupon since you’ll only get back the limit of Ecb’s for the deal. I had a few errors on the limits for certain deals, however I have since updated them!

    • Lauren

deals listed without a coupon probably means that a coupon is not available for that product/deal. of course, if you have one, its always best to use a coupon!

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sometimes if a deal is Free after Ecb’s but the limit is only 1, then it’s better not to use a coupon if it requires buying multiples because you’ll end up paying for the items (and not be completely free).

        • Colleen

          Ah! Thanks for the clarification!

  20. Kristen

You can see in the ad picture above that the Hershey’s king size are limit 2, not 1 as it says in the write-up. I also saw on another site that the Mars candies are limit 4, and the Listerine is limit 2. I don’t have a copy of the ad so I’m not sure which is right, but just FYI πŸ™‚
You may also have a $0.40 coupon for the Kleenex Cool Touch if you requested a sample a few weeks ago, which would make that a money-maker!

I am also wondering if the Excedrin is re-set from earlier in the week, if anyone knows! Thanks and happy shopping!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

You’re right! Thanks, I just updated the post!

    • Karen T.

The excedrin deal is reset, so you can get it again…

  21. miranda

these deals start thursday right? the ad date is from the 24th-26th?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yes!

  22. flor

for the hershey’s king size it says
    limit 2

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yep! πŸ™‚

  23. Shoshanna

Since the GM Cereal is limit 2 it is better to use the coupon right??

  24. katie

      I added it in! πŸ˜‰

  25. Katie

check your email for a $5/$25! Just got one that was good Thurs-Sat!! Excited!! That will increase my MM amount by $5 πŸ™‚

    • Jenny

      Yay – thanks!

  26. Molly

On the GM cereal wouldn’t it be a better deal if we use the $1.00/2 MQ since the limit is 2?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yep, I updated the post!

  27. Casey

There’s a 20% off CVS coupon on the CVS Facebook page if you do the Christmas Quiz. It’s not valid on “sale” prices, but it will reduce your OOP on things like the Centrum that are considered “regular” price, but generate an ECB.

Also, check your ExtraCare account on CVS.com, I had two $5/$25 in there!

    Hope that helps someone!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I believe anything that is listed in the ad is considered a “sale” price? You may want to call your store and double check!

      • Casey

In my experience, it’s only a “sale” price if it says “sale!” in the little red box with the price. The computer automatically decides what to take off, but I agree, call and check with your store!

      • Rebecca

You’re right, it’s only a sale price if it says “sale”. I used to work at CVS, and they’ll often stick things in the ad with the phrase “wow!” or something similar that leads people to believe it is on sale, when in reality it’s not.

    • Sue

You got two $5 off of a $25 purchase coupons for the same Extracare card for the same dates? I only got one for my card, and none for my hubby’s card???

  28. Lauren

Thanks πŸ™‚ CVS has the best deals this BF out of all the drugstores I think.

  29. Lauren

Ok, so I received an email from cvs for $5 off $20. Should I give this to them prior to my other coupons or how does this work? I have never used one of these.

    • Casey

Give the $5/$20 first! That way your OOP will be lower.

    • brandy

      give it before your coupons

      • mel

I just send the $/$$ to my card, much easier and the register prompts the cashier to ask the customer if they want to use it! Saves on my ink!!

  30. Dimple

super excited.. Got 2 coupons from cvs this morning it says $5 off $25. They usually send only one coupon but this time I got two coupons expiring 11/28. Perfect for BF.

    • Lisa W

Do they say that you have to use them in separate transactions?

      • Dimple

Not it does’n say anywhere. I guess this not fare to use both coupon in one $25 transaction. That’s why I was thinking to do in two transaction..

    • Sue

They sent you two $5 off $25 coupons for the same Extracare card? Wonder why I only got one, and none for my hubby’s card. Very bummed!!

      • Dimple

I got only one coupon in email, but when I looked in my cvs account, one extra coupon was sitting there.

  31. Molly

Thanks Collin, this weekend is going to be great, if i can find all the deals at CVS. πŸ™‚

  32. LOUISE

Hi COllin, last time I printed the cvs colgate coupons it starts with a #5 not making it a store coupon. Just wanted to gibe you the heads up

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the update…

    • Margaret

      Mine starts with a 3…

      • Ann

Hello, could you explain what does #5, and #3 means, because I have store coupon too and manuf can I use Both?

        • mel

cvs store coupons will always start with a 4. manuf q’s start with a 5 (unless its the new bar code, and no way to really tell) sometimes the coupons at CVS.com will actually be a manuf coupon, but have the store logo where “manuf coupon” goes in the black box.

  33. darcy

So are these deals actually for Thursday and not Black Friday?

    • Ashley57

Yep! Also good on BF, but start on Thanksgiving.

  34. Becky

so am I reading this right? We can get these deals on Thurs? If so, that would be great! I will have to look up the ad online! Thanks Collin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Yep, start on Thursday!

  35. Ashley57

What is CVS like on Thanksgiving? If I go to a store at 9 or 10 am, do you think there will be anything left? I have a 24hr and non-24 hr store near me, would one be better than the other? Thanks in advance!!

    • Julie

Depends on your store. Last year on Thanksgiving I was out 1st thing in the AM. I hit up 2 stores that opened in the AM (I had to do 7-8 transactions and the lady at the first store was kinda grouchy) and there was hardly anyone there. I got everything I wanted, although there was limited stock on a couple things.

    • Julie

Some people say their CVS is packed with a line prior to opening; if you only have 1 in your area, it may be that way.

  36. Margaret

Can you use the $1.00 of the Wet N Wild nail polish set to make it a money maker?

Thanks for this Collin! Beating the crowds and going on Thursday afternoon to CVS!

  37. Teri

I would love to know if they will issue rain checks for this ad. My CVS is always out of a lot even before the sale!

  38. Shoshanna

Will Walmart price match the Bayer asprin for $0.99, does anyone know? If so that would be better since they give overage. If not who can pass up on free πŸ™‚
THANK YOU Collin for all you do! I am new to your site and fairly new to couponing, as a usmc wife and mother I am truly amazed at what you have done!! Keep up the good work πŸ™‚

    • Valerie

They should. It’s what we’ve been advertising all month.

  39. Tori Rosales

I know most of us got 2 of the $5 off $25 coupons in our email or in our EB account. If we spend $50 in one transaction will they let us use them both at the same time?

    • Suzanne

Yes they’ll let you use both $5 off coupons at the same time.
I already used mine in one transaction is how I know =)

      • Nicole G.

        Awesome! I got 2 also! πŸ™‚

  40. Trina

That’s amazing! I got the ads early and have been trying to put together my own match-up. I can’t believe how much I would have missed without you. Thanks so much.

  41. Michele

Can I use the benefiber $2/1 Benefiber Stick Pack from the 10/25 SS? I don’t see anything about trial sizes?

    • mel

yes, thats the one I plan on using.

      • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Oh thanks! I forgot about that coupon!

  42. sari

Wow you are amazing! Thanks for all you do! I will definately be driving the cashiers at CVS insane :).. two questions:
1.Does CVS print out multiple register rewards in a single transaction, for example the Mars deal… If I buy all 4 in one transaction will they all print at once or do I have to separate into 4 transactions?
    2. Do these deals start at Midnight on Thursday or Thursday am?

Thanks for any help on this… I am a newbie and I can’t wait to rock those deals!

    • Karen

      1. Yes, it will print all 4 ECB rewards on one ECB coupon at checkout. i.e. by four candies at .75 x 4 = $3.00. You’ll then get a $3.00 ECB (not 4 $0.75 ECB). You can purchase all 4 in the same transaction

      2. Depends on your store. Last year my 24 hour store started at midnight 11/24. The non-24 hour stores will start at regular thursday opening time.

  43. Carol_R

Thanks so much Collin for the match-ups!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re welcome!

  44. Alex

Can you use a cvs coupon for the fall savings booklet and use a manufacturer coupon at the same time?

    • Karen

Yes if one coupon says “CVS Coupon” and the other says “manufacturer coupon” then you can. you can only use 1 of each per item. however ive seen some labeled “CVS manufacturer coupon” , which i think counts as a CVS coupon i believe. maybe someone else can confirm that.

      • mel

no, only if the cvs coupon starts with a 4, can you stack with a manuf coupon. the colgate coupon thats in the fall booklet is a manufacturer coupon (starts with a 5) so you can’t use it along with another manuf coupon.

        • Alex

Ohh but I want to use the mfg coupon for the soft lips and the CBS coupon from the fall savings booklet together, is that possible?

          • mel

no, the softlips coupon in the CVS booklet is also a manuf coupon, so you can’t use the insert coupon too. sorry πŸ™

            • Alex

It’s alright I fixed up my shopping lists and it worked out fine thanks for the clarification! Happy thanks giving !!!!!

  45. Lindsay

Are the Mars Singles a limit of 4? This would make two for free + a $1 money maker. I think the ad says limit 4?

    • Karen

It is limit 4. I’m not sure if the “holiday” candies count towards the sale though, since the coupon from all you & 11/13SS specifically states “holiday”.

      • mel

my 11/13 coupon has a size limit though (says 7.94-19.5 oz), so that won’t work with the singles.

        • Karen

You’re right mel! The 11/13 SS coupon has a size limit – the All You coupon does not.

          • mel

I wish I had the All You coupon! I did find a Buy2, Get1 Free tearpad on the refridgerated case a few weeks ago, its for certain sizes, which I **hope** I can find and are part of the sale!

  46. mel

Collin, my 11/13 insert coupon for the Mars Holiday products has a size listed – 7.94 – 19.5 oz, so that won’t work for the singles….. unless there is another insert coupon floating around w/out a size listed?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Sorry for the confusion…The coupon from the All You magazine has no size limits! πŸ˜€

  47. Sephiria

Slickdeals has Revlon at limit 6.. it’s 6 and not 1 right?! I’m only excited for CVS BF because of the Revlon nail polish deal and WnW Festive Flirt nail kit, lol. (but of course I’ll get all the other goodies if the store still has them in stock! If not I won’t be too disappointed! πŸ˜‰ )

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You’re right…thanks, I updated the post!

  48. Ryann

i think the cvs breathe right coupon states that it can’t be used with another coupon.
