OK, so I am thinkin’ this is a price mistake or maybe… just maybe Walmart is trying to get rid of their snowman stockings?! Either way, it’s worth a shot.
Go here and click on the “Personalize” blue button, then select the snowman stocking and personalize with a name. Now view cart and start the checkout process. You can choose FREE store pick-up or choose to ship to home for $0.97!

when trying to checkout it says that the stockings are “unavailable at this time”
That also happened to me but I left them in my cart I
just happen to go back onto walmarts website and noticed they were still in my cart and i was going to remove them but the inavailable was removed and I was able to order them I am anxious to see if they are delivered

They just figured it out. It now says unavailable. I was able to get an order of 5 in just before they did that. I sure hope they honor it!
Bummer.. I was ordering my 4th one and it said not available… It won’t let you check out- it says out of stock on line.

I just ordered one but I don’t think they will honor it. A while back they had a dora toddler bedding set for free and I ordered one. Then later got an email saying it had been canceled 🙁 But I ordered a stocking thinking maybe they will honor it with christmas around the corner!
I was able to order 4 of them and they were all listed when I placed my order. However, my email confirmation for my order states the quantity as only 1. Has anyone else noticed that in their email confirmation? I’m thinking that you were only allowed to order one free item and the others will not go through.
Mine still says 5 under quantity.

Kathy, yes that happened to me so I placed each order separately…
Mine did that — I ended up just putting two different orders in……don’t know why it wouldn’t let multiples in an order for mine, but did for lots of others. Oh well!

Kathy, that was the probelm I had. I did them for both kids and they showed up in my cart but at the end of my ordering process, it said only one item was in the cart.
I got an email that only said 1 but i ordered 3. however in my actual walmart. com account, it says 3 so I guess we just have to wait and see.

It was available for a good 45 minutes…just have to be really fast sometimes! But I understand your frustration because I usually miss out on these things too.
I understand your frustration too. I usually miss the good stuff while at work. This morning I was actually on the computer when it popped up. Had to be a mistake on Wal Marts part so probably will cancel those who placed an order.
If you are so upset perhaps you shouldn’t try to purchase something that is obviously a mistake. It’s not dishonest to post the deal…it’s more dishonest for you to try and snag it.
Maybe you just saw it too late, there was plenty of time to get it 😉
Why don’t you just say “thanks for taking the time to post this Collin” even if you didn’t get to take advantage of it.

These will 99.99% get cancelled.. but I hope they don’t! A couple of months ago, I ordered a TV from Walmart.com for a REALLY good price. Apparently it was a price mistake, and they did NOT honor the sale. I called corporate, and all they gave me was a $5.00 gift card.

I was able to order, so I hope it doesnt get cancelled. I ordered the Mead notebook the other day that was super cheap, and it got cancelled. I will be happy if it goes through, but I am definitely not getting my hopes up.

I got an order confirmation and The total said, trial offer as payment. In my email it says free offer, so maybe they were running a secret promotion. It will likely get cancelled if not, but it was nothing to try to order, so I’m not out anything if it does get cancelled. Worth a shot.
I am not saying this to be rude but……Why order so many? Everyone should have been happy with just one instead of being greedy so more people could have received at least one. Just my opinion!
I was thinking the same thing, and everyone wonders why they get cancelled. If I was walmart I would NOT process the orders either. It’s really greedy. I can see two or three if you have kids, but 8 is wayyyy over board.
Jodi whether someone ordered 1 or 8 would not make a difference cause they only have so many in stock. So the cancellation has nothing to do with each individuals order amount and has everything to do with them not wanting to give over 200 stocking for free.
Obviously if they do not order 8 that means 7 other people get them. Instead of them being greedy with 8 they should order a small amount and spread the love. It has nothing to do with stock its greed.

Do not talk poorly of others when not all were trying to be greedy, many just want to provide a nice xmas for their family. Think before you type.
I do agree with the ones who think it is wrong to order more than a couple (2 at the most)of these. Just because its free does not mean you should do this! I guess some people are more greedy than others. I did order mine when it first posted and only got 1. I guess I should have ordered 100. If you wanted that many you should get the free one and order the rest and pay the charges!
Random question but if you are going to shame people for being “greedy” what makes 2 or 3 okay?? Are you setting the guidelines here? Pretty sure that on the Walmart site it didn’t say ONLY ORDER 2 OR 3 or we will cancel all orders. I didn’t get the deal but I am not on here badgering all of the people that did. Cause some have a big family. I only purchased 2 and even I can understand why some need more! There’s that saying “the early bird catches the worm”. Don’t be upset cause they want their kids to all have a stocking. This could totally be cancelled and “your opinion” would totally be wasted.
I also have a big family and I only ordered one….Could not pick a kid or grandchild to get it for so I ordered it for the dog! Hope he gets it! 🙂

I ordered 5, one for each person in my household. I have been very frustarted at times too when I miss out on deals, but it is not reason to scold everyone else. It is a first come first serve deal and if there isn’t a limit set then whomever orders first gets theirs. Life isn’t always fair and we just need to deal with it!!

EXACTLY! It has nothing to do with greed and just simply wanting to provide your family with stockings that are free. For people to accuse you all of greed is just plain ignorance. Its an unfair comment only cause they are bitter. Leave them alone…like I said the early bird catches the worm.

I agree with you. It’s great that everyone wants to get in on the deal, but also keep in mind to be considerate of other people. It reminds me of people clearing the shelves at the store because they have great coupons….peoplehave to keep in mind that other people might want to get that great deal also.
but thats the thing… not everyone is able to get it! Heck, I miss out on hot freebie deals all the time. Its not worth getting frustrated or irate, be mean & scold people! I believe in karma, those who are patient and understanding reap the rewards. those that don’t… well… get bit in the arse!
I am not scolding anyone. I am happy that other people get the deals, and I don’t mind missing out on deals, it’s not a big deal. What I am saying is when getting great deals, keep others in mind, it is christmas time after all.

That probably means that it was a misprint and the orders will get cancelled. It was worth the try though.
Okay.. getting grumpy because you didn’t get one is just silly. And also, there is nothing wrong with ordering 1 for each member of your family. Why should just 1 kid in the family get one and not the rest, and why would someone elses child be more deserving. All kids deserve them equally.
With that said, my order has NOT be cancelled. I ordered within minutes of this post, and I selected having it shipped to my home, thinking if I pay SOMETHING, maybe they will not cancel it. So far it has worked, I got an email conformation and my card was charged and I have a shipping estimate. Its been a few hours now..

I hope they don’t cancel the stockings everybody ordered. I ordered some a while back that was priced at $0.00 and it took about 2 weeks before they cancelled it.

I agree! I ordered 3 for everyone in my family because we don’t have Christmas stockings and I can’t even afford to get my son a Christmas present so I figured at least I can have some nice stockings to hang! Not everyone who orders more than 1 is greedy! Some people actually need it and can’t afford it other wise! Most people who get these deals can afford $14 for a stocking…I can’t…so they are the greedy ones who just get it to have it.
Off topic but not sure where to post. I just got a letter in the mail for the glamour magazine rebate from the Walmart deal. I ordered two but was only expecting one rebate. Well I got a letter from them stating they can’t process my refund bc it exceeds the Max allowable refund threshold. Anyone else get this? Should I do something about this bc its not fair. Any help would be great thanks!
I got my refund last week but I only ordered 1. Did they at least give you the $9.99 for 1 of them? If not I would definitely contact someone. Sorry you didn’t get it for both but they should at least honor the one.

I got one rebate, but I got the same letter for the 2nd and NO magazine to top! I paid $10 for the one I got the rebate on. I won’t do that again!

I got the same letter and will be contacting them on Monday. I did 2 of each offer, so there was a total of 4. I received the first 2, which I used my another address and the other 2- so far no:( I’ll let you know how it turns out. I was hesitant to order the other 2, but these only Christmas gifts my mom and sister are receivng. We agreed no gifts- my Dad lost his company last year. Sad situation, but they can’t be mad if they were FREE:)

So many quick to judge others here…. First of all I want to say Thank you Hip2save for posting. For those that got the order – good job and I hope all our orders are honor. For those who didn’t I am sure you have been in on the good deals before where others haven’t so in time we all get good deals now and then. For those that order multiple I have no problem with you doing so for it is a “Christmas” stocking so I am sure you had reason for ordering multiples to give during this season as I did for the kids in a small town in Mexico that got hit by a hurricane and the kids lost a lot of their clothes, toys, etc and when parents are making $5-7 bucks a day – if I can bring down a stocking as well as other deals I may have come across to help by all means I will try and do so.
So don’t judge – you don’t know each of the posters and what their needs are or their intentions are.
If I don’t get the next deal – that’s okay it not my turn. Be safe everyone and Happy Holidays.

I tried to place a second order at the last min when this was still active and it didnt go through. Well I just went to order something else from walmarts and they was still in my cart and still 0.00. So i just went through with it again to see if it would work now and I’m happy to tell u if you still have them in your cart then go try it again. I have a feeling all of our orders will get cancelled but its worth a try! Would love to see the whole family with the same stocking, just sad I didn’t get mom and dad one. Remember the “free” dora bedding? Someone ordered other stuff with hers and she got the “free” bedding. From now on I order other stuff with the “free” or misprinted items.

Did all of you have yours personalized?? I still havent gotten a cancellation notice as of yet but I did have mine personalized also. It says they will be delivered between the 6th
