I have a $20 credit that I bought from a daily deals site (I can’t remember which one). Do you think if I use that I will still get the max rewards back?

    • xb

Oh good question – i got that too – does anyone know?

    • xb

Living Social – it should work like a gift card or at least like max perks awards because it is a code with a pin.

My husband is a teacher and is enrolled in the Teacher plan. So, how do the MaxPerks points work? If I spend $100 on items that have 100% MaxPerks Bonus Points back, can I then use those points to purchase items that have 100% points and continue to “roll” that original $100? I have called OfficeMax 3X but have gotten vague and conflicting answers every time. Please help:)

    • Kathy

I was told that my teacher rewards can roll, but that they will not count toward the money that earns you extra money. I have rolled them with no problem. Like last quarter I had $200 in rewards and I have been buying things that are 100% back with those rewards. It shows that I will be getting those rewards next quarter. It is just not adding to my out of pocket spent category to get the extra rewards. Does that help?

I know it says on-line, but has anyone seen the tablet cover offer in store? I just don’t have an extra $50 to tie up right now. Great deal for those that can.

  4. Kathy

I have been doing all the AA and AAA battery deals and need no more. Has anyone seen any deals on C, D, or 9-volt batteries? We need those at our house.

  5. SherryA

I have the same question as ericswifeowensmom. Can MaxPerks Rewards be “rolled” onto new offers like CVS extrabucks? I thought I read somewhere that the rewards had to be used on regularly-priced items, but can’t remember. The on-line information is vague.

    • Jean

I have had NO PROBLEMS “rolling” my MaxPerks Rewards (I have the teacher account). With the teacher account you do have to wait a bit longer for your reward though…its only issued quarterly (opposed to the business account being issued montly).

    • Ann Maria

I’ve been rolling for over a year now with no problems.

  6. allie

I am considering buying many of these 100% back items. Can I also use coupons to OfficeMax like 15 off 100? Will that deduct from my rewards? Help!!!

    • Gina S.

Yes, you can use a coupon. I use coupons on it all the time with the 100% rewards and have had no problem getting my full rewards back.

      • xb

Does that mean you essentially make the amount of the coupon? Or do they subtract that from your reward – and it is just less out of pocket up front?

        • Carrie

They subtract the coupon and give you the remainder back in rewards. Hope that helps!

  7. mary

i’m thinking about getting the backpack for 100% rewards back. does that mean i will pay $99 and get $99 back to spend only at officemax? do the rewards expire? lookin risky right now…

    • Sarah

I’m curious about this too. I’ve never used Max perks though I”m pretty sure I have a card with them. Does the $ come back on a card that I can only use in store?

    • Zack

Maxperks is super easy to use! Yes, when an item is 100% back in rewards, you get the full price back into your account. It takes about a month for it to show up, and then you have about 2 months to use it. I have been rolling $50-$60 for a while now without issues! The money is not on a card, it’s a printable online certificate that can be used in-store or online.

      • Sarah

        Thanks!

  8. Sara

Can you redeem max rewards online or do you have to use them in stores only?

    • Ann Maria

      either online or in stores.

  9. leigh edge

I can’t get the tablet case or the bags to work. All gone, you think?

    • leigh

Nvm…did a little copy/paste with the item #’s and got them:) Thanks!

  10. xb

For the bags – do you think “Limit 2 per item.” means 2 per type of bag or two bags overall? Or two from each of the categories of bags?

    • stephanie

I would take it as two total of any type.

  11. stephanie

To clarify, if you look at the sleeve, you could buy two of those as it says limit two. P.S. anyone think a guy could carry the pinstripe one? Then you could buy two messenger bags as it says limit two. HTH.

    • xb

      Thanks!

  12. leide

Okay, so you guys have been saying that you have no problem rolling your Rewards when you have a teacher account. I have a business account and have $100 in Rewards waiting to be used but I am scared to death to use it on this deal and lose them. So, anyone else out there with a business account has been rolling your rewards with no problem?

    • Carrie

I have for a long time now and haven’t had any issues! 🙂

      • leide

        Awesome Carrie, thanks so much!

      • Catherine

Carrie – What types of items have you gotten free with 100% rewards?

        • Carrie

Wow, a lot…paper, markers, hanging file folders, batteries, printers, etc. It’s pretty amazing!

  13. Jennifer

If you use your rewards card to buy the batteries, do you still get the rewards back on the batteries next month?
