Me, too. I swear Target tracks my shopping habits and releases coupons *after* I’ve done my shopping. Oh, well. Great excuse to buy an adorable coat I tried on yesterday! Which is also part of Target’s nefarious plan, no doubt, LOL.
Last time this coupon came out, they had no problem giving it to me at Customer Service. I just took my receipt in and they gave me a gift card w/the coupon!! I had spent $70 the night before the coupon was released! I also spent $55 before the last coupon reset, and was able to get a gift card w/receipt again. Never hurts to ask!!
I couldn’t find my gift card coupon and they told me I could bring it back with my receipt as long as it was in the same sales week.
I brought a receipt that my Mother In Law purchased $100 worth of stuff & they gave me the $10 GC at Customer Service. 😉

I did this with an older receipt and they gave me the gift card at customer service at my store. It is definetely worth a try.
It says not valid on previous purchases but maybe they will let you return it all and rebuy.
I would try it…they did it for me when this coupon was out last time. I just purchased $125.00 the day before and they gave me the $5.00 gc..there is a button I think they have that says “forgot coupon” or something? They use this also when the cashier doesn’t give you your $.05 for your bags you bring in? They scan the bar code of your receipt then scan the coupon and they hand over your gc! I would try it!!!
The Guest service person will have to hand refund everything and then key it all in again if the purchase was not made on the same day you go back in. It is a length process. It is Target’s policy not to do so on a giftcard deal like this, but most times if they are not to busy the service desk, you might get lucky. Just remember to say thanks to your employee…. As a former target service desk employee I saw the best of the best and the worst of the worst in people. I always remember faces, so those who were kind were more likely to have the rules bent when possible.

I to have been in search for the leap pad!! None to be found anywhere, and no one knows when they will get more! I ended up get the leapster explorers… they have won lots of parent and kids choice awards.
OMgosh… long story… If you go online at about 5am every morning and check the item it will let you know if your nearby store(s) have them in stock. Then I went and sat there from like 630 to opening time at 8. And yes people got there after like Black friday, but they only get 4 per shipment like once or twice a week and first come first serve. It took me like three trips to finally get it.
I was able to find a Leappad last Friday, the same way Ketsy did. My local Target got them in twice last week. Luckily I had the $8/$80 TQ, $10/$50 TQ for gift card & price matched to Farm & Fleet (WI) so I got it for ~$50!! =) Watch the stock status at your local store!!
If you can’t find the leap pad, we bought the innotab for our 4 year old’s birthday. He loves it!! It is wonderful. I’m not sure if they are easier to find, but they are definitely great. I ordered mine from vtech in October. With coupon code I got it for $65.

I was able to purchase a microsoft points gift card for Xbox with this coupon with no problem so you should be able to use it for ITunes cards as well.

No, it does not work if iTunes gift cards are any part of your $50. I tried last week.

That’s sweet of you! 🙂 I thought I would have the same problem last time but I did the John Frieda and the Curel lotion gift card deals, and found a MIR to try Bissell Stomp N Go Free on the box. I added in some much needed groceries and got up to $56. After coupons my total dropped to $35 but I got back $20 in gift cards and a $5 MIR. It is definatly possible because it is BEFORE coupons, just make sure to hand this one over first! Good luck! 🙂
You can use it first before other coupons. Last time I only spent 31 after coupons and they still let me get the gift card since my total before manufacturers coupons was over 50.
thats what I did with the last one. I went in to spend 50 but couldnt find 50.00 worth of stuff I needed so I gave it to the woman in front of me. It made her whole day!

no it will tell the cashier to give you the card after your transaction is complete and it says right on the coupon that you cant use it as payment on this purchase.

sorry i read your comment wrong…yes you can use other coupons along with this one just give this coupon before before your other ones, you just cant use the 10 gift card to Pay for your stuff on this transaction. thats what i thought you meant.

Yes! After everyting is rung up, hand them the Target coupon first. That will generate the $10 gc, which they will hand to you. Then hand over your manufacturer’s coupons.
You give the cashier the $10 gc coupon first, then your other coupons after. I think I spent $30ish after coupons when I used it the last time. You can’t use the gc to pay for THAT transaction but you can use other gcs from previous gcs to pay for it

Hello. I have a coupon for Free $15 Target gift card with purchase of $150 or more from Target home mailer “Making savings Bright”. Can I use both coupon to get $15,$10 and $50 gift cards for buying DS?
I printed mine out after I wrote my post. It’s only good for the next three days since it printed it off today, so I’m hoping to come up with some deal scenarios to recycle gift cards.
We still have a $10 amazon gift card from when we were at Target on Saturday to take advantage of some deals. Hoping to score again on Curel lotion for $1.99 and wyb 2 you receive a free $5 gift card, making this a money maker.

Is it before or after coupons???
I handed them the coupon last week and got the card, then i handed them my other coupons and the cashier said if my total goes under $50 that i have to give the gift card back because the gift card is for the after coupons amount.
how do i argue my way out of that this time?
Unfortunately, you really can’t. It probably just depends on the cashier.

I didn’t have a problem when I did the same thing last weekend, but like Laura said it always depends on the cashier.
Although, with manf coupons the store gets reimbursed by the manf so those ones are just like using cash and I would argue that because of that fact these coupons should not effect the promotion that Target is running. HTH
I had issues last week with a new cashier. He wanted to scan each manufacturer coupon with the matching item. I handed over the Target coupon 1st. but when he saw my other coupons he voided stuff out and started over.. anyway after a very polite discussion a manager was called and she explained that in those cases a Target coupon would be scanned first to redeem a gift card after $ spent coupon, and THEN manufacturer coupons. Just ask to speak with a manager…!
Literally just got back from Target & spent $80. After picking up kiddos from school, going to try to give a big smile & a patient sounding voice to CSR to see if they will adjust & I can get the gift card. That will make my day!!!

The last time this coupon was available I used it a my Local Publix since they will allow competitor coupons,I ended up getting over $60.00 worth for grocery’s for $15.00!!!

she had 4 curel so she got 2 gift cards for it. Target will give you as many gift cards as you should get on the particapating products. you dont have to do seperate transactions to recieve your gift cards. Target is different then how walgreens RRs work.
That’s weird. When I did the deal, it didn’t work. She told me one gift card per transaction unless having target coupons for the curel made a difference then.

Your coupons need to total $50 before coupons. It makes no difference how many gift cards you get back. You will get a $5 gift card for every 2 curels purchased. You do not need to do separate transactions. Just did this at my Target. Have also done the Curel deal numerous times over the last month. You can buy as many as you want. You will get back a $5 gift card per every 2 Curels purchased.
I got the starbucks deal, 2 johnsons gift sets, an Elmo DVD ( great for our upcoming road trip with an Elmo obsessed toddler) 2 workout shirts clearance for $3 and 2 sleepshirts clearance 3.24 and 3.88. $96.41 retail before sales and coupons. $35.27 after sales and coupons plus $15 back in gift cards plus the $5 starbucks gift cad I can submit for. Good shopping day 🙂

I was so happy to see this coupon again. I used all four last time it was out and saved a TON of money. I just went shopping at Target yesterday but customer service let me use the coupons with both my receipts.” Hooray”. So I ended up with two GC. Looks like they may no longer be offering it. After a long time the it either reads, server experiencing an error or link no longer available. I’m still going to try later, but this is what I’ve gotten the past five times I tried it.
The last one that was just offered i went and got my oldest his Red DS that he asked Santa for and it was on a promotion of buy it and get a free $10 gc with purchase. so i paid 145 for the DS and the $44 warranty. Went back later and got a blue DS for my youngest (after selling his explorer) and used the free $20 gc plus the money from the explorere and got the DS with warranty again for only $60 out of pocket. Then i used the free $10 gc with purchase and the free $10 coupon (again) to buy 2 $30 DS games which were on sale for BOGO 50% for $25 plus got a free $10 gc back which i sused to purchase a $9.99 (on sale from 13.99)bakagun toy (only paid .85 cents in tax)for a birthday party. so i paid $230.85 on a total purchase of $360.98…NOT bad.
