I would cut the UPC out before you give it to them.
I was thinking about that too! Depending on where the UPC is… maybe I’d just cover it with some white cardboard/tape? Like if it’s on the bottom. Some of my friends know I buy stuff with coupons/rebate so they probably wouldn’t mind so much.
The only other thing I thought of is taking everything out and putting it in some sort of gift basket with like cake mix/candymelts/sticks/etc. and so they wouldn’t even get the box! Hope I gave you some ideas 🙂
On a previous post, someone suggested scoring around the UPC with an exacto knife & then peeling the UPC off from the cardboard. I just tried this with a recent order I received & it worked great. HTH! 🙂

Yay, bought one for a xmas gift. Can anyone confirm that you must send in a cut out of the UPC code from the box for the rebate? Will a copy of it do? My friend might be wondering why there is a hole in the box of her xmas present.

Making your own cake pops from scratch really does taste better than the ones from this little machine. MUCH more moist and tasty. Easy to make, too. Just sayin…. 🙂

Quick question here..I ordered two, but later read the rebate which says ” 2 Per Person, per model number purchased, per household”. Does that mean I can only get rebate for one item?
No, it says TWO per person, per MODEL NUMBER. So you purchased TWO of the same MODEL NUMBER. That means TWO rebates for TWO of the same model number.
