I did the thanksgiving waffle maker and dutch oven kohl’s deals with rebate. Both arrived perfectly, but their bar code numbers didn’t match the ones on the rebate form. I emailed Kohl’s and the response was that they didn’t know why it wouldn’t match and to just send it and see what happens!!! It seemed so odd to have that be the official response, but I guess we’ll see….? Anyone else get their rebate yet despite this?
My waffle maker UPC didn’t match either but I mailed it in too. My griddle did match so I am hoping they honor them since it seems to be an error on their part. I saved my email with my order summary which has the right UPC in case I have to show them proof.

If you have have a stand mixer and cookie scoop it is easy to make real cake balls/pops. Dipping is the most time consuming for me.
Bake a cake, when cool throw it in the stand mixer, mix into pieces and add half a tub of icing. Use cookie scoop to form into balls. Add stick if you wish, freeze. Dip into almond bark or other chocolate. You can refreeze if you wish.
I do these a lot. WAY better than just baked cake balls!

Agreed Jessica! But look at the average plate size from a realaurant, people want everything and more than they need.
You know, if I were struggling sufficiently that I needed to accept donated items, I think that this gimmicky appliance would be useless and somewhat insulting. I mean, if I couldn’t afford food/utilities/housing would this thing make any sense? So I actually hope no one is donating them right now, but I’m sure in the next year you’ll see many (un)used ones at the Goodwill.
Every good deal like this sells out. The deal was up last night, some of us got lucky and were up then. I miss a lot of deals being on the west coast. Go to your local store and do the deal.

I feel the same way when I see some of these deals. I get the impulse to buy it, since my son loves cake pops. But honestly, my kitchen is stuffed to the gills, I have no place to put this and would probably have used it once.

GO TO THE STORE GUYS. They have the same deal in the stores. My store had like 15 of them. They are marked $24.99, but just scan them and you’ll see the price of $14.99. Yeah! The rebate even prints on the receipt. I just bought one. Hope that helps.

I wish that Kohl’s would mark an item “unavailable” from the get-go instead of having you go through the whole checkout process to find that the item(s) you want are not available to purchase. GRRRR! It wasn’t just the popmaker. I wanted some towels too.

So, I just called back and didn’t even have to ask for a supervisor- the customer service rep I had was awesome and didn’t say anything like the first guy I spoke with earlier! She said that their policy is that they will honor any sales prices up to 14 days after your purchase, so if it drops again, just call back and they will honor the new price! I called the kohls by my house, and they had a huge display of them! yay!!!! A few weeks ago at the cash register they have this pad you put your email on and they will send you a coupon for $10 OFF $10 or more so total I payed $4.27 including the 20% coupon for the cakepop maker (:
I didn’t know where else to post this and I hope none of you get mad but remember the great kitchenaid deal that was posted on thanksgiving by collin which made the 4.5 quart ones only like $90? Well, being a college student and not being able to afford much, I thought that would be a feet present for my mom and I used the kohls chase to buy my dad and only had to invest like $50 OOP. Well anyways, when the order came in, I actually received the 5 quart one!!!!! I think it was almost like $100 more if I am not mistaken!! I checked my receipt, credit card statement, UPC, online and I can’t find an explanation to this! I also was supposed to fill out a $20 rebate on the 4.5 quart and the 5 quart had a $30 rebate. So I just ended up filling out the $20 one and am crossing my fingers that they approve it!!!
