   For offers such as the Centrum (buy $25, get $10 +up), how am I affected being a gold level, in which I’m getting 20% off–is the offer only counting regular price, or am I damned by getting the reduced rate??? thx

  The $9.99 looks like a sale price. If the sale price is less then the regular price minus 20%, then you would pay the sale price and your discount won’t come into play.

  Yes, the gold discount does affect this. I had to purchase more expensive bottles of Nature’s Made last week and factored in the 20% to make sure I hit $20. If the sale is buy one get one 50%, then your gold will not be applicable. Sometimes the gold messes me up, sometimes it doesn’t!!

   Are there going to be two $10 UP rewards generated for $25 of Advil/Colgate products if I wait until 2/1 to purchase – one weekly and one monthly? A big thank you to Emily.   I would keep in mind that this deal probably has not been attempted because it would not start until 2/1 for everyone. Just because she is in So Cal, those monthly deals do not start until 2/1 for even her. Just a thought!

  Beware–this does not work. Only received one reward today, not two–I think the ad shows the monthly reward because the expiration on mine was mid-March. Had it been a weekly reward, it would have an expiration of 2 weeks from now. Pretty sure it is a monthly reward only. (Would end at end of February plus 2 weeks from that date=expiration date on reward I received.)

  They would not take mine at Walgreens last week. The manager said they had received emails from Thermacare telling them which ones NOT to take and the $3 was one of them. He took it to the back to check and verify. However, noone else seems to have had that problem, so I dunno!

  Hi jenny. Welcome to north country. I only live about 40 minutes north of you in east jordan/charlevoix area. I dont know of any way to get discounted papers. I just dumpster dive and you can get a TON of coupons doing that. I rcommend only when its warm out. I also dont know of any stores that double coupon. Kmart will on wednesdays and saturdays but you have to spend a lot. If you need anything else pleasr let me know. Id love to meet others in our area that coupon.

  I go to the local recycling centers where people dump off their newspapers to dumpster dive. You can get TONS of coupons. And yes I very much love this website too. It’s so easy to follow. Thanks so much.

  Since you commented under the RA post, I assume you have a RA in your area. I get extra papers at RA using UP rewards and get 20% off since I’m at the Gold level. Be sure to check papers for coupons first though. The stores around me often don’t have all the inserts in their papers for some reason. I’ve also seen comments that Dollar Tree stores sell Sunday papers for $1, but I haven’t tried that. HTH.

  I don’t live anywhere near you guys, but I’ve gotten sunday papers at the Dollar Tree once before. The particular paper they carry at my nearest one (The Seattle Times) doesn’t carry the Red Plum inserts, so it’s sometimes not worth it. But maybe you’ll get lucky at your Dollar Tree, and their paper will carry all the inserts. 🙂

    I have the Prevacid Rebate in front of me and the fine print states ” Actaul Purchase Price equals the final price paid by the consumer after any discounts or offers and may be less than the maximum rebate amount of $29.00″ So it looks like any coupons you use–since they are “discounts” will be counted against the rebate.

  The fine print says “retail purchases only” I think meaning no online purchases. But it also says “offer cannot be combined with any other offer, including coupons” so I am wondering if they will not allow the rebate if we use the two coupons Collin as mentioned. Anyone have any idea??

  They will not provide rebate if coupon(s) are included. Received my denial a couple of weeks ago for previous their rebate. Also, be aware when using store rewards that some of stores print on the receipt as Coupon vs Rewards. If you do purchase and are going to submit for this rebate and use store Reward(s) toward the purchase, recommend providing the receipt used to purchase the reward, along with a copy of the add then adding a note to explain the reward(s) used.   Monthly +up rewards are rewards that are possible to get all month long, and usually have a tracker, to keep track of qualifying purchases, if you don’t buy all the required items in one transaction. Weekly +up rewards only last for a week, and there’s usually a higher limit than the monthly ones.

  I lost a $10 one in November and when I called them the lady explained that they no longer mail out or replace lost UPS…I was sooooo upset. I even tried 2 days later begging a different representative and she said the same thing. Good luck though.

  I wondered the same thing. Also the VV accounts online are not linked to any card so anyone could have a couple of those.

  I do not think 2 of the same VV coupons (even if one is from a different family member) can be used in the same transactions as it should ring up as the same offer. I am not positive on this though.

  What I am wondering is if you can use the same VV coupon (printed from a different account or from a family member) in a different transaction?

  I don’t know if it works all the time, but I have occasionally in the past used a VV coupon on an item one day, and gone back later in the week to use the same VV coupon (from a different account). I never had a problem.

    Updates from this mornings RA Trip:
    Triaminic – The fever reducer is not part of the $4.99 price. However, with my 20% it rang up at $5.59, so it was $.59 after MQ and VV. Still a good deal.

    Super Bowl UP – The Pepsi 2 Liters were not ringing up at the $1 price this morning and were not counting toward the $5 up with $15 purchase. The Manager on duty was great to help me to get it to work but not without a lot of effort. Plan to call RA Customer Service tomorrow (not open today).

    I did the deal for the pepsi and lays stax chips. I bought 6 12-packs of pepsi and 11 cans of stax chips. I received my 2- $2 ups and no 5.00 ups. I looked on my slip and the pepsi didnt count towards my reward! Only 11.00 from the stax chips did. They credited me 10.00 since my two 5.00 ups didnt print out.

    Make sure you check your ad for the Pepsi/snacks/etc. $5 Up when you spend $15 promotion! I just looked online and the 12-packs are not listed on my ad! In Collin’s ad scan it shows 12-packs on the top right, but in my ad the $1 deals in the middle are expanded to fill the whole top row. Boo!!! 🙁

  I did the pepsi deal today as well and it didnt give me the $2 or the $5 ups. The cashier was not sure why but it is listed on the ad. She thought maybe since theyre switching to the new system, of up rewards loading to the card, it might have been the reason why. NO ups today on this deal but manager says come back tomorrow, give them time to figure it out. If nothing, store will just give me a gc for the amount of UP I was suppose to receive.

  If the deal was in your ad, you can contact customer service instead of going back to the store, if you want. I did that once before, and they sent me my Up in the mail. I think it had at least a 3-month expiration date as well, which was nice 🙂

    I did the Pampers Easy Ups/Diapers deal and my UP reward did not print. The cashier confirmed that I should have gotten the reward, but there was no manager at the store today so she couldn’t do anything about it. She told me to call customer service…but of course they are closed today. Anyone else have this problem?

  Call customer service tomorrow morning and they will send you the up reward. Have your receipt with you. I takes 1-2 weeks to get the reward though. Never have had a problem with this.

  I just had the same thing happen! I thought I was going crazy. On my receipt it says I spent .01 towards the $25. I bought 3 bags of pampers. I did the math like 10 times and finally called customer service. They are mailing me my UPs and she said there seems to be a glitch in the system. So everyone be aware if you do the baby deal!

  no.. it keeps track of it on your receipt. I just did mine today on the Advil/Colgate deal and Im waiting to purchase my colgate items until the 1st and it kept track of whats been applied towards the $25 purchase to get a $10 up.

    Note about the Centrum ProNutrients: it is limit 2 offers per household and like someone mentioned earlier, your purchases track. Since you need to spend $25 to get the $10 UP but spent $30 (3 boxes x $10), the remaining $5 stays in the record. You can then pick up 2 more boxes at $10/each, use 2 more $5/1 coupons, get another $10 in UP, making those 2 completely free 🙂 Hope that helps! We did the math for this but were unable to acquire the inventory in our area. Should work in theory!

  I did this deal. I purchased 5 (purchased3 then 2 more) and received 2 $10 ups even though it was a couple cents short each time.

    I understand that Rite Aid will accept 2 coupons on a BOGO item, but if the sale is BOGO (Planter’s nuts), will they accept a $1.50 off 2 coupon?

  Yes, they will accept 1coupon towards a BOGO deal 🙂 .. I questioned Corp 10 times just to see.. all 10 said the same thing 🙂

    I have a scenario just wondering if it’s feasible for the 10$ UP and 10$ rebate

    3 thermacare w/ 3 $3/1
    1 optic white toothbrush $3/1VV and .40 Manuf. Q
    1 colgate sensitive toothpaste $3/1VV and $1/1 manuf q
    1 dimetapp $1 off

    I think thats $9.54 OOP
    Would I get the 10$ UP rewards and be able to submit for the rebate? I am a newbie thanks so much for the help!

    My local Rite Aid just got a new shift manager and she tried to tell me today that I couldn’t stack a VV coupon with a Manf. coupon. I pointed out the “RC” on the bottom of the VV coupon and she pushed it through. Anyone else having this issue?

    Hey there: just wanted to let you know that the Nature Made CoQ-10 deal Hip mentioned above has gotten even sweeter but only until tomorrow 2/1/12. 😉 I went in this morning, purchased the CoQ10 30mg 30ct (as I am unsure if I will like it or not but you could go for the higher value choices) for $13.49 (it listed as $13.79 on the tag) and here is how it went:

    NM CoQ10 $13.49
    NM Vit E $13.29 (I chose a different vitamin for my free one)
    BOGO FREE -13.29
    – NM CoQ10 manuf coupon $5 (expires 2/1 but not sure where & when I found it. sorry!)
    – NM CoQ10 VV RA coupon $5 (just posted yesterday. Yay!)
    = $3.49 for both
    Great deal but it only lasts until tomorrow. 🙁

    Good luck! I am new to shopping at Rite Aid but if there are deals like this here, forget CVS!

    When it says buy $25 worth and get the $10UP reward, does that mean $25 before or after coupons? At CVS it’s after coupons I think….just trying to figure out the scenario. Thanks in advance 🙂
