I got this last year for the kids through them and they loved it. I forgot to renew … and got an email this morning and was about to … for 10 bucks! You just saved me 2 dollars! Thanks again!

  2. Lindsey

They also have a subscription to their Kids magazine for older kids for $10 with coupon code NATGEOK2

      thanks, I got that one!

Thanks for the post! I’m looking forward to reading this with my two little explorers. Even better, my son’s school gets 5% of the purchase!

I believe that you can get this magazine @ magazines.com for $5.99 (6 issues) right now w/out a coupon code.

  5. Mary

I just went to magazines.com and the offer is $5.97 for 3 issues or $19.95 for 10 issues. I think I will pick this up for my 6 year old. I looked at this in the SS offer and thought it looked interesting.

I ordered this last year when it was $5 for my 6 year old. I would not recommend it for a 6 year old. Maybe for 3-5 year olds, but it is a small booklet and not really a magazine. It is geared for preschoolers and we were pretty disappointed even with only spending $5.

I agree. I got this last year for a couple of bucks. Would NOT recommend. Its NOT a magazine just a small booklet about 4 or 5 pages.

Thank you for sharing your insight. I was going to jump right on this deal, but $8 seems pricey for 6 pamphlets. I think I will pass on this offer.

I got this one and the Nat Geo Kids for $10 using code NATGEOK2. My daughter is about to turn 5 and bummed that she will no longer be getting her books each month from the Dolly Parton Imagination Library, so this is great timing. Plus they donate 5% to your school, which is always a plus in my book.

Thanks again for all the great money-saving deals you bring to us! I have been incredibly busy lately, and just don’t have the time to scour the web for the deals, so you bringing them to my attention is awesome!

I’m trying to order 1 subscription of the Little Kids and 1 of the Kids but it’s not letting me. Am I not allowed to or am I doing something wrong? Thanks!

Ok I have a question – my son’s Kids subscription is up for renewal, and this would save me 50% off the renewal price on the Nat geo site. However, while it says “one year subscription” on mamapedia, Colin’s fine print says 6 issues. A one year subscription includes 10 issues according to what we receive every year, and their website. So what exactly is this for?

    • Emilytwinmom

sorry, mamasource…. and I ordered, read the fine print and it IS for ten issues 🙂 YAY! Thanks for the savings!

My daughter is almost 3 and really enjoys this magazine. It comes every other month. There are interesting animals her favorite pages are the ones with rhyming pictures and hidden objects to find. We have read and reread each issue. I would recommend this for preschoolers.
