   Recently visited Orlando from Houston Tx and stayed in condo. Shopped at nearby Publix and was aghast at the high prices. Please tell me these were Orlando prices. It was a nice store but I hope you guys don’t have to pay this much. Love the site and thanks for all you do.

  No, Publix is that high priced. There is good with the bad. It is a great place to work and every high schooler wants to work there. They have great stock options.

  They are a high priced grocery store but if you use their flyer Q’s plus a manufacturer’s Q and get their BOGO deal with Q’s it’s a good deal.

  I agree with Diana. I get better prices at Publix than Kroger here in Nashville because so many of their products are BOGO and they double coupons. Their flyer Q’s are great too.

  I agree and with any store you need to watch the prices and clip your coupons. I see target getting higher in prices and carrying less generic items

   I love Publix…..very high priced items, but when there are BOGO sales, with Publix coupons stacked on Manufacturers coupons….you get free or close to free items (sometimes money makers too)! Love love Publix….clean and neat stores as well:)

   I did take a look at their on line weekly ad and I am envious that they had buy one get one free Land of Lakes butter, and the price was something like 2.20 lb. I also like the way they arrange their flyer. I still think the Orlando prices were higher because it is a tourist area and we were in the middle of a vacation time share condo area.
