Well, a House Party is thousands of parties across the country, hosted by people like us. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand (such as Sargento) and focuses on something cool that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends. Basically a House party let you share the products you like with all your friends, free of charge! Companies love to promote these type of events because it spreads the word about their products.

I have hosted several house parties, I think a total of 5 and I am hosting a Silk House Party next Sunday. It will be a brunch and crafts party. I also got accepted to host a Michael’s Party from Hosties so I will be combining the two.

I applied to host a Silk House Party, although I wasn’t selected (bummer) they sent me some high value coupons! I was able to try the Silk Fruit & Protein for FREE, that was really nice and I was super stoked!
The Disney Kinect party will be my 4th!! I love House Party!!

Curious…What do you have to do after you host the party? Anything to prove you actually had the party? Is there paperwork involved?
no paper work they do ask that you fill out a survey and the more involved you are supposedly the more likely to be picked again

I can say they have great parties. I have told almost everyone I know and now we all apply and we all have lots of fun. I was in on the Sony Playstation party. I am waiting on two PS3 games for last months task. I can say I have done about 8-10 parties with them and love every one of them.
I applied for the Silk party and got an email from them telling me to log in to send invites to everyone to the party, without exactly being told if I was accepted. I didn’t do anything further, because I did not have the emails for everyone I would have invited, and I didn’t feel comfortable giving others’ addresses out like that without their permission. Is this the typical process for House Party?
That means you were accepted. They always make you send out invites within 30 min or so of signing in to your account. If you do not have the emails for everyone, I think you can send invites via facebook as well if you have one.
Houseparty just sends one link out to your guests so they can RSVP to your party. I’ve won several parties and they’ve never solicited anything further to my guests or sent follow-up emails to them. They will ask you to forward a questionaire to your guests after the party.

How soon do u find out if you are chosen to host? I have tried before but nothing 🙁 really wanna do this.
This party’s host notifications will go out around April 11th. Next time you apply, look under “My Home” then “All my applications” and it will tell you when host selection will be for any parties you’ve applied for. Good luck 🙂

The Keurig would have been awesome!! I did apply for the ice cream party and it would be awesome to get considering my birthday is the 17th and my daughters is the 23rd!! I also got the Michaels one recently which works perfect because I am the craft director of a Mothers of Multiples group! Thanks for posting these!!

I would like to know too! I have been applying constantly for more than a year and nothing! I wonder if it had to do with location or because I do not do facebook?
maybe because of the facebook im thinking because most ppl use facebook nowadays to invite ppl but idk
House Party is so amazing, and you don’t have to do surveys or sell your information to get parties. I also won the Keurig Vue party (my fourth House Party) and received my machine over the weekend. I recommend this site it to all my friends!
We’ve been picked for one – the Spyro Skylanders Party. We had so much fun planning a party and getting the FREE stuff. Was really hoping for the Keurig – so awesome the HOSTs got the machine. Would had been GREAT! Trying for the Blue Bunny one – the kids will love an ice cream party. = )
I am doing the Keurig Vue house party too! The Vue came over the weekend and it is awesome .. hey for a deal some of you might not know, when you register your Vue online at Keurig.com (or any Keurig machine) they will send you a code to buy two boxes of cups and you get 2 free!!

I’ve been in House Party for almost a year, but I’ve never been able to do anything but the PS3 parties. Is there a trick I’m missing to get selection? Maybe they just aren’t interested in the 26-year-old male demographic, lol.
I got the Michaels spring party offered by hosties on facebook. My package arrived today, I got 11 40% off coupons and a $75 gift card!! I wish I would have been selected for the kuerig vue house party, I want one of those so bad!
I also was selected for the Keurig Vue house party and received the new Keurig on Saturday. It is so exciting. I looked up the price the Keurig will be and it is listed at $250. Wow!

I’m hosting a Weight Watchers Sweet Treats House Party on Saturday, it is a nice pack. I have also hosted Ball Canning, Athenos Greek Yogurt, and Arnold’s Sandwich Thins. I think the Ball Canning was my favorite pack.
I was chosen to host the Kinect Rush party. The only problem is that it requires a bunch of kids and the ones we invited are now not going to be around because when people RSVPd they didnt realize it was our Sping break and they are going on vacation!! I hope they dont hold it against me because I am still excited to do this even with only 4-6 kids.

I got picked to host the Blue Bunny Party..this is my second party!!! Soooo excited…this time I posted 2 times on FB and on their FB page…I really wanted to do this party! can’t wait to take a picture of the stuff and the best part it motivates me to decluter my house!
