Probably a stupid question but how do I use an e-gift card in stores?
PRINT IT AND BRING THE PRINT PAPER INSIDE STORE
just print it out, when you check out, give the cashier the egif card (there is a unique code on your egidt card) and the cashier will scan the code and it will automatically deduct the amount. If there is a remain money, just keep your egift card back and redeem it next time. Hope this help

If you have a “real” gift card you can also add the e-gift card money to it. I just keep adding on to mine whenever there is a good deal.
I always do this with “ecards!! Also you can download the app to Starbucks and add all your egiftcard on your phone and the cashier can scan your phone!
I have used an e-gift card at Starbucks with no issues at all. They knew exactly what it was.

Does anyone know if it is valid at Starbucks locations in stores too? (ie Target)
it should be good at Target. I’ve been denied in a few book stores that sold Starbucks coffee…even though they weren’t Starbucks. I’ve used Starbucks gift cards at Target with no problems
At our local target they couldn’t take the printed out e-gift card but if you apply the amount to an actual gift card you can use it there.

Well that was interesting… so here’s an order of events if it helps anyone because I was slightly confused: you’ll purchase the deal and they will email you a voucher. On the voucher is a link to halfoffdepot.com/redemptions. You’ll click that and enter in the voucher number and your address. THEN they will email you a eGift card in 3-5 days to the email address you used to sign up for halfoffdepot.

This is kind of a long process for a cup of coffee. You have to go on-line to redeem your code, then in 3-5 days, you get an email to get your e-card?
I purchased the Starbucks e-gift card. Right after I purchased it I was able to print it off. I use it just like a regular giftcard.
Ruth is right. I printed the voucher, but realized it isn’t the actual e-giftcard read the fine print and realized I needed to go to halfdepot.com/redemption then input the voucher code and shipping info then they will email it in 3-5 days. This was VERY confusing.

If you are having trouble with the connection timing out over and over and have a smart phone you might want to try going through the app. I selected Charlotte as my city and the gift card was right in the first few deals listed. A little slow, but MUCH faster than the website.
