last time they had this deal at CVS none of my CVS’ had them. so even though i got rainchecks i ended up taking the CVS store ad to walmart which they priced matched them and i got them for free(6 of them and paid no tax because its a medical healthcare item = no tax), i may just do that again, thanks!

I just bought 1 at cvs and paid tax. But at walgreen, there was no tax. Weird…
ugh well then cvs should have been the same,i had to go to 2 different ones becuz the first one was all out,so it would be stupid not to just get it after looking awhile for them

Sales tax is a state tax, so maybe some states exempt medical items, while others don’t.
I hope this is still available to print when I get home today!!! I have relatives who would really really appreciate these!! 🙂
Hopefully the shelves aren’t cleared because I have diabetes and it’s nice to have backup meters to take on the go.

I try this deal at walgreens and they wouldn’t let me use the store coupon with the manufacture coupon:(
I had the same problem because i showed them the wrong store coupon , There is two! use the one on page 79? ( or a other page) don’t use the one on page 69!
Last time CVS had the $10 sale and the coupon was available, all 3 of my CVS Stores were out of them. I got rainchecks though. I was available to eventually get 9 units for FREE and I donated them to the American Diabetics Association in Connecticut. They were so thrilled that I would take time to do this. I have 4 more $10 coupons that I just printed that I will email if you need the One Touch Unit. Otherwise, I’ll get 4 free units again and donate. Just let me know soon!
I got mine at CVS today. The cashier wouldn’t scan his CVS card for me. I had forgotten mine in the car. HE said because it was on sale (Jerk!) but I ended up getting it. It didn’t ring up for $10 though he did a price check. I didn’t pay tax
i was able to get 4 from walgreens today.
At Walgreens just now they wouldn’t let me buy it at first with both coupons- they said I could only use one coupon or another. When I explained that one was a store coupon and one was mfg they said I couldn’t use both because they exceeded the value of the item by a penny. When I asked them to downcharge the coupon to $9.99 from $10 they said… “Well, Okay”. 🙂 Pays to be persistent and polite!
What is walgreens return policy when using coupons?
I worked for Walgreen’s, and you get whatever you paid back. So if you got it for free, you won’t get anything back if you try to return it. And it you buy several of these and try to return them without a receipt they will refuse the return. The managers study coupon blogs and know the deals and won’t do a return without a receipt if they know that a recent sale/deal was going on.
I just went to walgreens 77069 and the manager said there is no way to use both coupons (

CVS Stores in my area are so much nicer to deal with than Walgreens, that I now boycott Walgreens completely! Try CVS first!
I just got 3 of these and was able to use both coupons. I have 3 diabetics in the family and these are great to use at a second meter to keep in a backpack for the kids or in your desk at work. Thank you for posting it!
Walgreens said no go to me today, cannot use both coupons, after trying to explain, he said I could use bot manufacturers and store, but not to get item free.
Just went to the store and got 2, but I have to pay tax tho. Gonna donate them tmr.
I went to Walgreens and they wouldn’t let me use the store coupon. They said it is not valid on the mini version.
I had the same problem but then we looked through the Wags book and found two different pages of coupons for the meters and the second one had the mini. HTH!
walgreens doesnt pay that on some health items because of a plan that there is like some cough medicines also don’t pay tax. its like a health plan or something it says it on the receipt that the item is eligible for health ….something…plan
i keep hitting print on the coupon on redplum and it keeps telling me that their are no more coupons. I don’t understand why it keeps saying that because the picture is still up.
