Thanks Collin! I was in walmarts yesterday and one of the ladies that live by me works at the register and told me they are going to start limiting coupons. If that’s true then they better start opening up more registers because a lot of people are gonna have to do multiple transactions.
I have never understood why stores limit coupons yet they let people do multiple transactions. Letting them do multiple transactions completely defeats the purpose of limiting coupons.
I have a friend that works at WM and she said that they are not limiting coupons (unless the coupon itself has a limit, like 2 or 4), its that the register locks up after a certain amount.. per the coupon policy –
The system will prompt for supervisor verification for:
40 coupons per transaction.
A coupon of $20 or greater on one item.
$50 or more in coupons in one transaction.
@Kari, I’m a cashier and they have a $50 limit on Q’s per transaction. Any more than that, it prompts the cashier to get a manager to override to complete transaction. Has been that way since I’ve been there — 7 years.

I was in walmart today and found a really nice bulletin board for my school room at home – 3ft by 2ft – for $9.97!! I was floored! Now each of my twins have a board for their art 🙂
There is a $1.50/1 Dial Body Wash coupon (excluding Dial for men) on Target coupon site, it’s a manufactuer’s coupon. It would make the bodywash .97.
I hate my Walmart. I go maybe twice a year and regret going every time. Went the other day and the cashier gipped me out of $8 in coupons. I didn’t have many items, so I didn’t have many coupons. There were 2 or 3 freebie coupons that apparently the cashier just ignored.
Instead of complaining here, call 1-800-Walmart. Have your receipt with you!

They sure will Emily. Don’t feel bad, we’ve all had those experiences with Walmart. Call and let them know how you avoid their store. They hate hearing that and will do anything to gain your business back. I had the store manager call me back and offer a $25 gift card mailed to me for my bad experiences with Walmart and its employees. Give it a shot, you may be surprised 😉
Always check your receipts before you leave. I was just at Target and 2 of my coupons didn’t scan so I went back inside and they gave me my $2.

ME too (check before I leave store), I do too much planning before I go to loose out!! and I check and double check everything to make sure it’s legit from my end!
Its their computers, not the cashiers. My Qs scanned fine but didn’t show on my receipt. I told the cashier and she opened the drawer handed me my 5 $1 Qs and asked me to go to Customer Service. They were happy to help me and handed me $5 cash. You have to do it before you leave the store for less hassle. Now I intermix my dollar amounts on my Qs so I can make sure each and every one goes through while watching the screen. (When they are the same $ amount, I sometimes can’t tell.) Good luck.
Apparently, as of two days ago, my WalMart informed me they are not accepting coupons that produce an overage ie the $3 spectricide coupon was not accepted for the 2.97 spray

a cashier showed me the back of the name badge theres a white card it even says u get the full price
I used that coupon just last night and got two free cans. It beeped and she looked at the coupon more closely, asked if I got the big jugs. I said no, I got just the regular cans but I thought it said ANY. She said oh yeah, it does. I just didn’t want to make sure I forgot to scan something and put it through.
I think it’s really hit and miss with their cashiers.
FYI: The U by Kotex pantiliners coupon says it has expired.
