This is perfect for me. I just lost my dog tragically while we were on vacation. He was hit by a car while my mother-in-law was dogsitting at her house. All I want for mothers day is to look at my loved and never forgotten best friend every day. 1 pic -free = happy mom.

So sorry for your loss. I am glad you will be able to get a nice picture and hopefully be comforted by it & your memories of him!

I lost my baby Bentley exactly one month ago today. His little 12lb self got into my half full kitchen trash can that had a lid, somehow got a bag out and got his head stuck in it. I feel your pain…it does get easier every day but your baby will always be with you now. I still get misty eyed thinking about my baby but I know one day I’ll get to see him again.

“I stood by your bed last night, I came to have a peep.
I could see that you were crying, You found it hard to sleep.
I whined to you softly as you brushed away a tear,
      “It’s me, I haven’t left you, I’m well, I’m fine, I’m here.”

I was close to you at breakfast, I watched you pour the tea,
You were thinking of the many times, your hands reached down to me.
I was with you at the shops today, Your arms were getting sore.
I longed to take your parcels, I wish I could do more.

I was with you at my grave today, You tend it with such care.
I want to re-assure you, that I’m not lying there.
I walked with you towards the house, as you fumbled for your key.
I gently put my paw on you, I smiled and said ” it’s me.”

You looked so very tired, and sank into a chair.
I tried so hard to let you know, that I was standing there.
It’s possible for me, to be so near you everyday.
To say to you with certainty, “I never went away.”
You sat there very quietly, then smiled, I think you knew…
In the stillness of that evening, I was very close to you.

The day is over… I smile and watch you yawning
and say “good-night, God bless, I’ll see you in the morning.”
And when the time is right for you to cross the brief divide,
I’ll rush across to greet you and we’ll stand, side by side.
I have so many things to show you, there is so much for you to see.

Be patient, live your journey out…then come home to be with me.”

  6. Susan

Been waiting for this one. I’m printing a picture of my kindergartner on her first day of school earlier this year. I’ll frame it and have her hold it on her last day of school next week for another picture to see how much she’s grown!

  7. Jane

Ordered a picture of my Mother and her three grandkids! Thanks- she will love it!!

I don’t have a Walgreens near my house. Does anybody know about how much shipping would be? Thanks

    • Venessa

I pick up mine at the Walgreen’s around the corner but I did read whereit said shipping for a 4×6 is 9 cents. I would think an 8×10 wouldn’t be too much. Hope that helps!

      • mkraft305

The total cost for the 8X10 print was $1.05 with tax and shipping. Great deal. I ordered a pic of my husband and our 3 year old puppies. We lost our 16 year old Pom-poo in 2009. Heather I know your pain. I felt like my heart was crushed and ripped in half. It gets better but I still miss Molly so much. I have pics of her all over the house.

  9. misty

Anyone have any tips for making the quality of the photo better? Everytime I do this they end up being cruddy. TIA!

    • Jane

maybe check the dpi of your picture. I use at least 400 dpi.

      • misty

:/ sorry, whats a dpi? hehe I’m not computer/tech saavy. I got the free 25 prints, and the other free 8×10 that was offered a while back and they looked awful sadly, very pixely. Thanks Again Jane!

        • sara

dots per inch… in reference to the clarity/quality of your picture 🙂

This is a bit off-topic, but I am new to Walgreens.. I want to know few things like – is it a Must to have a Walgreens card to shop the “Deals & matchups” that Collin post here… Also do RRs print only for those with Walgreens card? Plz clarify….thanks!

    • Cyndi

Walgreens doesn’t have a card that I know of. The RR will print after your transaction is complete. Hope that helps.
