I get Babytalk for free (from a previous hip2save post) and I really like it. They’ve got some good info in there.

I ordered the 7 slings baby carrier way back in November. They sent me an email saying it was on back order and that I would receive it in about 6 weeks. I forgot about it and the last time this was posted I contacted them. I was told that they were unable to forward my order, which is strange because there was no need for forwarding. We went back and forth for 7 emails and they are supposed to be sending me another one. So, now it’s June 4th and I still haven’t received it! Btw, I wanted a refund and they refused to give money back. So, buyer beware. My son’s over a year old now, I guess if I ever get it I’ll have to give it away:(

I almost ordered one way back in late 2010 but then I read reviews like yours and I changed my mind.

      • rae

No it wasn’t the sling sorry it was the feeding cover that not near as may good reviews as bad reviews.

    • Jill

I had a great experience with the sling. I know the reviews weren’t all great, but I got my use out of mine!

      • Kara

For anyone looking to buy the sling (I have the blue one), go to Target or Burlington and try out the Munchin sling. It is the same design but the fabric is nicer and you can try it on to make sure you get the right size. If you buy here you have to pay an extra $4 for insurance to return just in case you get the wrong size. At Target it is about $25 and Burlington sells it for $20. BE CAREFUL using it because the baby can curl into a C-position which can cause suffocation. It is recommended that you do not use a sling until the baby is 4 months old. I am actually looking at switching to the K’tan.

Thanks so much for the baby post! We’re expecting our first on Nov. 1 and I’m excited to learn about all the ways to save on baby items!

    • Sheyanne

Congratulations!!! Our first will be 6 months soon and it has gone by so FAST! We definitely save by doing coupons (and of course, the baby shower presents helped too). Ha. We also get a lot of things used, especially clothes and toys.

      • rachel

Thank you! We hit rummage sales all day Saturday and I couldn’t belive the clothes be bought for 50 cents or $1!

        • Christin

I agree. I had my 3rd son back in November after a 10 year gap and I find such awesome deals at garage sales! I got $300+ worth in Carter’s,Old Navy and Baby Gap clothing for less than $20 and you never would have guessed it was used!
