Target has a few revisions to their coupon policy that was updated today.
Here they are:
1- “We reserve the right to accept, refuse, or limit the use of any coupon.” This one is tricky because if you have a manager that doesn’t understand how coupons work, and that they actually make the store money, they may refuse your coupons or give you a hard time. If this happens, with the new corporate policy the only option you have is to either call up corporate and see if they can give you assistance while you are in the store. Or, you might have to find a different Target to head to.
2- “Limit of 4 identical coupons per household, per day (unless otherwise noted on coupon).”
3- Returns of items purchased using Manufacturer Coupons may receive coupon value returned in the form of a Target GiftCard. Basically if you used a coupon to purchase the item, the amount of that coupon will be given back to you in the form of a Target Gift Card. Say you purchased Aveeno Lotion for $3.00 and used a $1.00 Coupon, that $1.00 Coupon would be given to you in the form of a Target Gift Card.
Thanks for the new info
I was told that a cashier can decline coupons too not just mangers…
I had a cashier decline my coupons at one Target because they said “limit one per purchase” on them. I tried to explain to her that meant only one coupon can be used on each of the items, not that it’s only one coupon per transaction. I even showed her a coupon that said “limit one per customer” on it, trying to explain the difference. She still declined to allow me to use more than one (and then called over a supervisor who backed her up) so I only bought one item with one coupon. I called corporate to discuss and was dissatisfied with the way the conversation went. It’s definitely a YMMV situation with these things.
Was anyone able to get the $25 dollars off $200?
