If you’re looking for another way to earn a little extra income or maybe you’d just like to have the chance to try out new products before they hit the market, then you may want to check out Ipsos I-Say Survey company. Ipsos is a global survey-based market research company that serves more than 5,000 clients in more than 100 countries. As an Ipsos I-Say community member, you’ll have the opportunity to take surveys and earn rewards that can be redeemed for money (in the form of an authorized check), donations and prepaid American Express cards.

Most members receive surveys at least once each month with an average of about four per month, and the more surveys you take, the more points you earn. In addition, many Ipsos members also have the chance to test new products and services before the general public. If you’re interested in joining Ipsos, click here.

Check out some of the positive comments from other Hip2Save readers when I posted this last month:

I personally love Ispos. I don’t qualify for all of their surveys, but I have participated in many product tests for some great (and often pricey) products. I use my points for Amazon gift cards. Their customer service is great.

I LOVE Ipsos! I’ve earned a gift card before and recently earned a $20 Paypal reward. I love taking their surveys and earning points. I also love testing products too! So fun!

I like Ipsos. Here is a breakdown to help people out who are thinking of doing it: In May 2012, I did 7 surveys and was disqualified from 11 (which does give a few points). I started taking surveys in Jan. 2011 and have made $30 deposited into my Paypal account. I am 2/3 of the way to another $15. I have also product tested paper towels and frozen food (mailed me a coupon).

How about you?! Have you joined Ipsos yet? If so, what has your experience been like?

I joined Ipsos in April, qualified for a ton of surveys, and I was able to redeem points for my first $10 Amazon gift card about three weeks later. I got another $10 Amazon gift card about four weeks after that. I like the site pretty well. The payout is really fast and simple. I requested the gift card and a code was immediately sent to my email.

I give Ipsos a 8/10. I like that if you don’t qualify for surveys, they give you a few points for your time. And after each survey opportunity, you have a chance to win other prizes (like a date night with your spouse or a camping trip.) Right now, I’m actually testing wipes for them (which I love!) I would definitely recommend this company. It’s my 3rd favorite survey company. (1st is Pinecone Research and 2nd is Tellwut)

I have been a member of ispos for a year. I love testing the products. I love getting the paypal money or amazon…

I have been a member for about 3 years now! Sometimes it is hard to qualify for surveys but hang in there! I used $25 gift cards (at least 7 earned) for our grandchildrens souvenier money when we took them to Disney/Universal! They loved having their own “credit cards”, for gifts! I also receive many products to test (of course I cannot disclose details!) Keep qualifying, It’s worth it! I also use Opinion Outpost and about 4 others! I love voicing my opinion!!!

P.S. $25 Amex cards are no longer available but $30 cards are as well as lots of other offers! Check it out!

I recently got a $40 AMEX gift card. This is a pretty good survey site. You usually get 5 points even when you are not selected is the prelim questions.

Ok…that stinks…I submitted all my info but the link in the confirmation e-mail just took me to this page…

“Thank you for your interest in joining our panel; however, we are not able to accept your registration at this time.”

Bummer! I didn’t realize there was criteria we had to meet. Why are my opinions not good enough if I don’t fit into a certain age/income/gender/nationality bracket? 🙁

    • Estel

I’d like to know to know which thing got me rejected so I can try again if that changes. Obviously I can’t alter my race or gender (……..nevermind not touching that) but other factors might.

      • Estel

So I just got a message back from them saying that the reason my application was rejected is that I am a member of Synovate and the two companies are merging very soon. Interesting. And a heads up for anyone who is a member of Synovate and wanting to join I-say as well!

Seeing this post reminded me to check my points balance and I was able to pool my points from Ipsos and Opinion Outpost to get the $79 Kindle from Amazon FREE! I love Ipsos and have had nothing but great experiences with that company.

  7. Niki

Got rejected for some reason. Oh well.

    • Estel

Are you a member of Synovate? I actually messaged them asking why I was rejected and they said the reason was that I was already a member of Synovate and I-Say is merging with them in the very near future.

      • NIKI

Guess that must be it! Thanks!

I qualified! Sweet if all is possible with the posts I just read.

Just signed up….let’s see how this goes! 🙂

I have done probably close to 20 surveys so far…not including the ones I wasn’t qualified for. I am saving the points I earn to redeem either for cash or a gift card. I love the surveys, they are normally fairly easy. I was selected to test out a shaving cream product and get paid for it-looking forward to more of those!
