Just to warn all you non-coffee drinkers out there (I know I’m not the only one), these “refreshers” have green coffee in them. I have no idea what that is, but I just wanted to give you a heads up in case you think it’s just a nice refreshing juice drink.
just so you know we talked to them and there isn’t actually coffee in them they just took the unroasted coffee, green coffee, and extract the caffeine. so they just use the caffeine from the coffee. these drinks are really more like energy drinks. they are good!
Yay, can’t wait! I’ve been wanting to try their Verry Berry Hibiscus but because of the ingredients (like the OP states, there is green coffee in them), the price was up there with their frappe’s. I usually get their passion fruit tea and it’s very yummy and refreshing! (and cheaper! lol 🙂
I just tried them with my hubby. I am not very impressed. Highly bitter and funky after taste. So glad I got to try them for free
I AGREE.MY DAUGTHER DON’T DRINK NOTHING BUT WATER. I TOLD HER TO GET ONE AND I’LL GET ONE.WE GOT 1 OF EA. FLAVOR,I FIGURE IF THEY WERE GOOD I WOULD DRINK BOTH.I SHOULD OF HAD TASTE THE SAMPLE THEY HAD ON THE COUNTER 1ST,THEN I WOULDN’T HAVE ORDER ANY OF THEM.I DID’NT SEE THE SAMPLE UNTIL ANOTHER CUSTOMER CAME UP.BOTH OF THEM WERE NASTY.WHEN WE STOPPED AT ZAXBY’S TO GET SOMETHING TO EAT THERE WAS A STARBUCKS NEXT TO IT AND I TOLD MY DAUGTHER IF THAT REFRESHER WAS GOOD I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN ANOTHER ONE.AFTER WE FINISHING EATING I WENT BACK TO THE CAR TO GET THE REFRESHER OUT AND THROW THEM IN THE TRASH CAN WERE THEY BELONG AND REPLACE THEM WITH A ZAX CHERRY SODA AND WATER.

Which flavor did you try that was bad?
The lime was terrible (tasted very minty and not lime), but my mom got the berry one and I thought it was good.
At our location tiny freebies. But I love them.
I just got a Hibiscus Blackberry Refresher and I really like it! I’ve heard a lot of people saying it’s bad but I think that’s just because the hibiscus flavor is very strong you won’t really taste the berry at all, it’s definitely more floral than fruity but very cool and refreshing. If you like more fruity drinks I’d say go with the lemon-lime one!
My husband and I got one of each and neither of them were very good at all. I will say that the berry hibiscus one was much better than the lime one, but overall they were just too watery and had that funky aftertaste associated with powdered drink mixes…SO glad these were free!
I tried the very berry hibiscus and thought it was very watery too…glad it was free so I know not to buy one in the future. I’ll stick w/ their passion tea lemonade.
I tried the Cool Lime and was definitely not impressed. I too thought that it was bitter with a weird, minty aftertaste. At least it was free. I love freebies!
My daughter and I tried each and the berry one was definately better than the lime one. We both thought the aftertaste of the lime flavor was “tree bark” like. Would I ever buy the berry one? Probably not…
I can drink most anything “Coffee”, but these things are NOT good! The canned version is not good, either. So glad this was free. I thought it would be something that I would love.

My husband and I got ours today! He got the lime and I got the berry. They were both good, but I think the berry was better!
All I can say is, “Yuck!” I am so glad that it was free! 🙂

I must be very different because I loved the lime drink because it was tart. Not a big fan of the berry lol!
Mine was not tart at all. Like someone just squeezed a lime wedge into water. I definitely would have liked it if it was more like yours.
Yeah I will never pay for one of these. My boyfriend and I went in today and got the berry one. Tasted like water, then the after taste was absolutely horrendous. Immediately threw it away, you could smell the after taste. Disgusting.
I told my daughter about this free drink but too bad the starbuck near her didn’t offer any free drink at all (she was at work, but her friend went and tried to get one for her but failed). After seeing all the comments, I don’t feel bad for her anymore.
Between a 17 yo, 8 and 6 yo and me we thought they were horrible! I am So glad i didn’t spend any money on these and do not recommend them!
