the Paul Mitchell smoothing iron (different from the straightening iron) is my absolute favorite!!! I paid about $150 for one 8 years ago and it was money well spent looking back although at the time I kept thinking I must be crazy:)

I just bought a professional flat iron last week. A HANA Elite 1.5″ I’m in LOvE with it. I know it’s not this HSI, just encourage anyone thinking of a better flat iron to get one. My hair is a little below shoulder length and only takes 4-5 minutes with my HANA iron to straighten silky smooth and shinny. I got mine from Misikko.com using a $35 off coupon code on retailmenot. My hair gets soooo frizzy and crazy in the summer humidity and my new flat iron keeps it beautifully straight like a professional until the next time I wash it.
They are worth the $50.00 but not much more..If you have the $ buy a Professional CHI not the cheap version. They have a warranty and last about 8-10 yrs..
It says $300 starting price, but when I researched them I was only able to find them for 40 bucks (some $50) So I’m thinking it’s a standard price made to LOOK like a deal. Also could not find a website for the company or product either. HOWEVER I ordered one anyways because with over 1,000 positive reviews, it has to be worth 40 bucks 🙂
