personally i think shutterfly has the worst customer service ever. the last time i tried to get 101 free prints with the labor day code.i got the promo code to work just fine but when i went to check out i kept getting an error message. i called customer service and was transferred from one rep to the next and finally hung up on. they kept telling me there was probably a problem with my credit card (there absolutely wasn’t) later i tried chatting with a rep but that didn’t get me anywhere either. i ended up NOT getting my free prints. i was extremely disappointed at their lack of customer service. i’m not sure if i will ever shop there again even with their free deals since i will still have to pay for shipping.

Shutterfly has been offering a lot of great freebies. I totally took advantage of their free 8×8 photo book & then purchased a $10 8×8 photo book from Groupon. I also got a free card yesterday and then these 10 free cards today. It is working out great b/c we just had our 3rd child 8/30/12 and were able to put the hospital photos into the photo books & then created birth announcements with the card offers. I am paying shipping for each item, but it is still much cheaper then paying full price!
Shutterfly has been nothing but awesome for me! I use them religiously. I will say though, with free print codes, I haven’t been able to choose to pick them up in store, the free print codes for me have always required that I mail them so I have to pay shipping. My 19 yr old brother was recently killed in an awful accident last month, so I used the free book code to make a nice memorial book of him and then made personalized picture thank you cards with the 10 free cards, as thank you’s for the musicians, pastor, etc. that helped with his funeral. It’s a nice keepsake to get the card with his pictures on it, I think. I wish I could afford to make all of the thank you cards with his picture.

There have been so many free codes for books lately, that I am completely caught up for my girls! I only use Shutterfly for our books (I used to scrapbook them, but just don’t have the time anymore) and just ordered book #20!!! It includes my daughter’s 4th birthday photos….and that was from the beginning of September!
So, what is the point of this message??
