Uggggh, does the bonus rewards get better during the holidays? Post back to school sales have been so disappointing! I’m wishing office depot was office max this week.

Those were my thoughts exactly. The breast cancer items are cute but none seem to be avail online except for the stapler… More penny deals would be great… Nice office furniture, bags, etc…

I was thinking the same thing! I have like $70 in my account from buying things with 100% rewards and I don’t want to waste it on things that don’t give back close to 100% back. But I also don’t want them to expire either.

        • Chris

I just spent just over 71.00 of my reward dollars (from a few months ago’ s purchases) – the staplers were marked down to $16.99 ( you get back $17.99 limit two..so i pick up an extra $2.00 here!) – picked up two paper mate packs of pens $13.99 ( you get back $13.99 limit two) – also picked up two Uniball pens $3.99 with the second 50% off ( you get back $2.99 limit two). So with all these I acually ended up plus $2.00 more in my rewards accout for next month and will get all these items for free!

Hope you needed these items. Don’t you technically chip away at your rewards when you roll because even with 100% reward back, you still have to pay tax for these items. For $71, you will pay ~ $6 in sales tax. just my thoughts

My state has 6.25% sales tax, and Shop at Home gives 6% cash back so that helps me justify it a little better πŸ™‚

That is a great deal actually. I didn’t realize the staplers and Uniball were on sale. Also noticed the Expo were BOGO 1/2 off too. I wish I saw it last night when you posted it, though! They sent me a coupon for $5 off for my birthday and it expired yesterday. Oh well!

          • Lisa W

Well while I had the 2 staplers in my cart they changed the price back up to $19.99. Crapola! Now I don’t know what to do. That’s not right!

If you are worried about your MaxPerks Rewards expiring, you can purchase anything and then return it for a store credit / gift card. I’ve had to do this before when the 100% reward items just weren’t available or weren’t things I cared to purchase. The gift cards expires in a year. It gives you plenty of time to wait for the right sale! You should probably check with your store manager for your official policy, but I’ve done this twice at my local store.

I gave up on maxperks! their service is really bad. I have a lots of order before some shipped, some not! and then when its partially shipped they will not give your rewards back on that same month! The item that I ordered last july was just now add to my rewards eventhough it is their fault that they can`t keep track of order that has been shipped and not! And worst they don`t know where to track the order! I called customer service many times and until now I haven`t got the item that I order last month!
