Mine was set as 12/19/14 as I had done the slickdeals offer but did not do the gmail part earlier this month and had apparently gotten the free offer as well from Shoprunner. I just went into Shoprunner a few minutes ago and added my gmail address for the additional 90 days and it changed my expiration date to 03/19/2015. Sweet!
Awesome awesome awesome!!! I’m so excited! I LOVE shoprunner and use it all the time as a mom of a 2 year old and 7 week old! So easy to buy necessities from drugstore.com and have them shipped free. I was literally just telling hubby a couple days ago that I was going to PAY to renew my account because it’s so useful to me. I didn’t get the e-mail (that I can see anyway), but my expiration date is now March 2014. Merry Christmas to me! 🙂
I did not get an email or a year automatically added, but I cancelled and resigned up with the code RUNNER and got another year.

Wow–mine was set to expire tomorrow. I had even gotten an email from them that I needed to pay to renew…but now, it is “magically” renewed until 12/31/13!!!
Same with me! I had changed my settings to *not* autorenew, so was expecting my account to cancel tomorrow night, but now it’s set to cancel 12/31/2013!
I’d check any cards that you had set on the auto-renew very carefully. As others recommended, I put a gift card with the Visa or MC logo in place for the auto-renew, and I have $2 deducted from one of the cards and $1 from the other. 🙁 ALSO, when I tried to change the card that it was going to take the membership from (to the gift card, not my actual credit card), their system SWITCHED it to the credit card! Not happy.
I also have another card that showed 7 pending dollar charges that were cancelled. Check your cards and watch for hidden charges!!

omg! i signed my father up for a free year just in case and then i got the email yesterday saying i had another 12 months. it came in handy a couplea times. i emailed shoprunner and thanked them.

I got the e-mail too! Just a heads up, you may want to check your account settings and make sure that your auto-renewal is turned off. I turned it off so that I would not be charged when my account expired in January, but with this extension it had been turned back on.
Yay! I got it! I was just talking to the hubby about how I was bummed out it was ending. We’ve used it, but not enough to justify paying for it like the Amazon Prime. What a nice surprise! 🙂
How does this company stay in business? I’ve had ShopRunner for almost 3 years now and I’ve paid $0. I’m not complaining, of course, just curious! 🙂

Got the Email!! I got it for free last year, and I have only used it a couple times for Toys R Us Orders, and once for Dominos. I hope they get some more stores added on! Anyone heard of anything like that coming??
I wasn’t going to renew either since it seems like the only thing it ever consistently worked on was Domino’s. The other times I have tried to use it, the items I was buying were somehow not part of the ShopRunner shipping. Drugstore.com was particularly bad about it. Very frustrating.
I had removed my credit card information quite a while ago so it would not “accidentally” auto renew. I appreciate that they have given me another opportunity to see if they have any merit.
When shopping at Drugstore.com look on the right-hand side of the page for a box that gives details about what shipping options are available for that item. Certain items like nail polish have to be shipped ground only and other items don’t qualify because they ship directly from the manufacturer themselves. In these cases ShopRunner doesn’t qualify because it wouldn’t be possible to ship the item 2-day express.
The main problem I had was with laundry detergent. One size was on sale and would not ship with ShopRunner and a larger size that was not on sale would ship with ShopRunner. It made no sense at all. :/ I could totally understand if it were for items that are restricted, but that was not the case.
I have found it very handy for the times when we order from Domino’s. 🙂
I didn’t renew, and they have asked me to spend $29 to renew it but I logged in and my expiration now says Your membership will automatically renew on 12/31/2013.
? So I guess I got another year free?

Woohoo! I LOVE my ShopRunner membership. So glad they renewed it for free but even if they didn’t I still would have signed up for another year. The membership fee has paid for itself 100x over in the past year I’ve used it! 🙂

Well, I have never signed up, but with all the excitement I thought I would try the code runner and it worked! I now have a 1 year free membership, thanks to a couple Hip2Savers. I signed up via eBates and it said up to $5 back. Wondering if I can order something via Shoprunner and get cash back on eBates?

Here’s a question for you and maybe Collin too, how does Shoprunner know about every on-line purchase I have made. I logged into my account (thanks Collin for the heads up) and it renewed me authomatically until March 2014 – but here’s the million dollar question – Shoprunner has a history of EVERY on-line transaction I have made, and the transactions are from stores that I don’t use Shopprunner for. For example – Kohls, Walmart, Sears, Kmart. I have used my Shoprunner account for purchase’s I’ve made at ToysRus, but not for any of the other stores, so how in the world does Shoprunner know about these transactions?? I’m a little worried, anyone know the answer??? Please explain, please!!!!
melani, when you signed up you had to sign into your email account. This gives Shoprunner access so that it sees all of your email order confirmations (for better or for worse)
