I did them for my kids names to mark their books and other school items. My son loves trains and my daughter loves elmo, so to personalize them, I googled coloring pages of their faves and used those as the images. I used the style with the picture on the left, then clicked advanced edit (or something like) and then I could change the font, enlarge the font and change to just 1 line of text. This is a great deal!

I figured it out. Got some free clip art from Microsoft.
Only see the 7.99 shipping. Only used the text box. No image upload.

I just got free shipping…you have to use your own image. That is the key. Go to google images…find an image…right click and save it as a jpeg file. Upload that image to your label. If you pick on the images they use, you will not get free shipping! I just got 4 for under $4! FANTASTIC DEAL! I had fun designing them! Thank Collin! 🙂
How do you make it fit? Nothing I do works. It all says it out of the margin.

I want to do my kids names, how big do I need to make the font in word/paint to make it the right size on the stamp?

I simply ignore the message. If it looks right, and I know my picture and text is small enough (within the border, as appeared on my computer screen) then it should turn out fine.

Hello, I had to resize mine 3 times but finally got it to work. Honestly if you want the stamp with the image you’ve chosen bad enough…I called them and the deal is good until February 2nd so you could order one and if it doesn’t look right when you get it (in 3 days) just resize again and order another and make it smaller…..or choose a different image. They’re only $1 so even if you have to pay for 2 to get it right, still a good deal 😉
ohh..and you have like 2 weeks to place an order so if you order today, plenty of time to get more whether it turns out bad and you have to redo it or just to order more 🙂
After you’ve uploaded your image, click the blue link that says “Advanced Editing”. It will then show you the margins that your image has to be inside of. Hover your mouse over the image, and a box pops up that says “Edit”. Click on the box, and click “Move/Resize”. From here, you get corner boxes that you can drag to make your image smaller and fit into the margin space. Just make sure none of your image is outside the margin, and you should be good to go.

Don’t forget, all you have to do is make a Word or Open Office (for Apple users) document and SAVE IT AS A PDF file for this to work if you would like to use your own address. It does not have to be a real true ‘image’ …..just saved in that format!! If you know how to save things as a jpeg or pdf, you can get one with your address on it, just incase some didn’t know that 😉 Just ordered mine and offer is good until FEBRUARY 2ND. The out of margin error came up for me too. It looks right on the screen, so I went ahead and ordered. I put a copy of my kids’ school logo and their teachers name. I figure it can be a part of the teachers end of year gift.

A couple more ideas: I like to keep up with how many calories I take (exercise accomplished, vitamins taken, etc), so I made a simple form for myself to be able to quickly check off that info each day. Also, I Google-Imaged a wax seal of my initial, and printed it in red to make the backs of my letters look cute. 🙂 Thanks, Collin!
To get the free shipping, go into your word doc. on your computer and create the label you want and save it. Then on staples click on “upload your Design.” Click on the sample, that will bring up an add image form. Click the tab “my computer” then “choose file,” find your doc. and load it. This will give you free shipping in the end. You might be able to do it another way, but this worked for me.

Just bought 10 of these for my kids and friend’s kids – they are going to love them! shipping was still free – I just always chose the upload your own image option even if I was just doing text.
I just ordered 2 I kept trying and couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. I up did one stamp with an animal picture staples provided and it did the shipping and then I went back and picked the upload you own design and picked one of my own pictures to upload and finished it and then checked out and I was charged 1.98 plus tax .14 I got both of the for $2.12

If you are still having trouble start again. It will give you the option to delete any stamps you don’t want that may have been saved to your order. Maybe it’s charging you for the actual stamp. Did you choose the first stamp? I thought the second one said $.99 earlier but it said $9.99 so it wouldn’t work. Good luck!

So… are you only adding an image to the stamper?? Can we not add an image and name/address as well to get the free shipping?? I understand I need to use my own image.
Go to http://www.dafont.com and type your name or word you want to use in the window and search for fonts you want to use. Take a screen shot of it (shift, apple, 4 on my Mac) and upload it. I wish I would’ve thought of this sooner, it would’ve saved me lots of time trying to work with their designs and qualifies you for free shipping since you’d be uploading your own design. I did my address stamp this way and an adorable valentine’s stamp for my daughters and their teacher. Lots of cool and free fonts on that site too.
