At the very top it clearly says “2 days only. 40% off your entire purchase (including clearance)! ” Yah!!
I think that only applies to the clearance center stores. (I shop the one in northern Ky/Cincinnati, but I think there are others.) Also if you have a Gap credit card, you may have an email that gives you the 40% off on Friday, March 15, when you use your card. (If only it didn’t exclude the clearance center in teeny tiny type at the bottom, lol…)

The clearance center is different than a stores clearance. The clearance center is an actual store. I work at a Gap Outlet, this 40% off is definitely for clearance as well as full-price and promo items. In additional to the 40% off coupon you can sign up for a Gap card and save an additional 15% on your entire purchase. Our friends & family sale starts tomorrow and runs through the weekend. For us Friends & family is a lot busier than black Friday (just a heads up, especially if you plan on shopping with small children). All in all, you can definitely get some good deals. Please remember to be kind to the sales associates too.
Has anyone tried to return items you just purchased and repurchase with the coupon? I hate it when I buy items and then see this coupon in my email days later.
I’m curious about this, too! I just spent $120 last weekend at my Gap Outlet…
I usually just rebuy the items with the coupon and return the others…. it takes longer that way obviously, so it would be nice just to return and rebuy what you already have. But, I do know it works that way!

The email i received specifically says in the subject line “including clearance”.
Last time they had this I loaded up and I had $40 in rewards and my total came to .46 and I was amazed. The guy behind me in line said wow you only see that on tv lol I was so excited I had to tell everyone!! I didnt spend a lot on my cc to get the rewards either. They would send me a offer to use their card outside of gap like 5 times in one month and there was no set amount how much you had to spend so I would by $5 here or I even spent $2 at Michaels just to see if it worked and it did! I spent about $15 all together and earned a $20 reward!
I’m not sure if anyone is in my area or just knows the answer to this… is the gap store in tanger an outlet? Also does gap sell long length jeans? I usually shop at new york and co which is way to expensive so I usually only buy/have 1 to 2 pairs of jeans at a time. Would love to get more if I could!
You didn’t say where you lived, but I think all Tanger shopping centers are outlet malls, so more than likely it is. Can’t answer your question about long length — at 5’4″ I never run into that. ;D
Im 6ft tall I havent had a problem buying jeans. I like Aeropostale, Gap fit me, and Target has long ones too.
