Just a heads up to everyone. I had Conscious Box for three months and bought two additional boxes. I had problems with every box including products being missing, poorly packed and boxes being listed as “filled with organic chocolate” showing up with two sample pieces. I cancelled because it was rather disappointing. Not worth the usual rate for a month but worth it for $1.95.
Does anyone know if this is the type of company once you sign up for something they keep shipping stuff and charging your card?
If you sign up for the subscription, not a one time gift like Colin pointed out above, they will charge you every month $19.95 for a box unless you cancel.
But on my receipt is says “Gift Subscription (Classic- Once)” Is this deceptive wording then?
Mines said the same thing. Just means it’s a one time charge of the $1.95
I used my $15 PG rebate Visa, so they wouldn’t be able to charge anything else if they tried! 🙂

Tried forever to get through, kept getting errors that their server was busy. Finally got through, entered all my info including promo code and credit card and again kept getting errors…finally got to the checkout page and they want to charge me $19.95 NOT the original $1.95 just for shipping like it showed on the subsequent pages – boo hiss…cancelled. Not worth the frustration!

bah…jumped on this right away and everything went smoothly til the billing page. Just kept giving me the same page over and over instead of advancing to the next step no matter how many times I entered my credit card info. Now the site simply will not load. So close…
omg soooo cloooose…I finally got past the payment page to order confirmation…it keeps saying there’s an error and to try again later. Come on…last step…you can do it!

I just called & they said that the gift box will not work with the promo code. You can only do it if you purchase a subscription. They were going to charge my account for a subscription every month. Just a F.YI. your account may be deducted for a subscription next month. I went ahead and cancelled. Sadly, I won’t be getting a box but I don’t want to be charged every month either.

for orders like this, I use a new shopsafe number with a spending limit and one month expiry date. If you have a bank of america visa card, it is really easy to do. log in and request a new shopsafe number.
that way, they wouldnt be able to charge me after this month
