Happy Friday: Magazine Time

Thanks to all the free magazine subscriptions we have amassed from following your Hip2save blog, my 2-year-old daughter is able to partake in “magazine time” whereby she sits with me on the sofa and “reads” magazines – her perennial favorite being Martha Stewart Living. We discuss various colors, imitate facial expressions, and compare page numbers while perusing our magazines side by side. Consequently, she has learned numerous sight words and has the ability to read numbers well past one-hundred. She also has developed a penchant for obsessive mail-checking and squeals with delight when we receive yet another free issue via snail mail.
These magazines provide hours of entertainment from airplane construction with loose-leaf reorder inserts to label making with individual letters cut from old issues and pasted onto boxes…truly the free gift that keeps giving! Thanks for all you do! 😉

Thanks for all the magazine deals Colin! My now three year old has been enjoying them for two years. He loves to trace all the bigger letters and look at the pictures. : )
If you have a half price books near by you can sell your used magazines and use the money to buy some inexpensive books for your little ones….or more magazines!!!!!
Betsy do you know any other store where we can sell used books/magazines cause we dont have half price book store.
