My Rite Aid will not take this coupon since it says “Redeemable at Walmart”. Please tell me what I should say or do to get them to take this. Is there something in their policy that clears the way? Thanks.

The coupon says “redeemable at Walmart”. Does that mean that you can only use there?

    • Susan

No–just means you CAN redeem there. Doesn’t say “redeemable ONLY there.”

This coupon is a regular manufacturer’s coupon that simply states that it can be redeemed at Walmart. However, you should be able to use it at Rite Aid as well. Nothing in the Rite Aid coupon policy states that there is an issue accepting a coupon that mentions another store.

Everytime it says “Redeemable At Walmart” on the coupon, just tell them it’s just a suggestion.

Tell them to try and scan it and they’ll get a surprised look on their face when it scans!

I hate that these coupons have the redeemable and Walmart on them, it is such a hassle. I never at shop at Walmart so I miss out on some good coupons just because they decided to use coupons as an advertisement for their company! ugh end of rant! Thanks for the post though Collin!

Walmart pays to put it on there for that exact reason. They know many stores won’t take it and you’ll have to go to Walmart to redeem it. I am no longer shopping there, because the last time I was there I was treated like a criminal trying to de-fraud the system with my internet printed coupons. They are evil corporate b******’s.
