*HOT* Target: How I Scored a Pair of Earrings AND a Timex Ironman Watch for Only $2.38 (Over $50 Value!)

UPDATE: After reading through the comments, it sounds like many of you are skeptical that this deal will actually work at your local Target. As I mentioned below, it worked just fine for me an hour or so ago as the cashier simply scans the Mobile Coupon barcode on your phone and the savings are applied automatically (the cashier does not have to key in any info). If you do indeed head out to test the deal, please share your success stories and/or any issues that you experienced below.

If you are not yet signed up for Target Mobile offers, you’ll need to text OFFERS to 827438 (note that standard text messaging fees will apply) and click on the link that will be immediately texted back to you. Fill out the required info, follow the directions and you will receive a unique link for several Target Mobile coupons valid through October 4th – note that it took about 5 minutes for this text to arrive.

Just got home from target and this coupon did NOT work for me. I bought errings $7.99 and a necklace $14.99. I decided to get something I really wanted it said no coupons applied. I asked her to scan it again and it said it had already applied those offers but took off nothing so I just asked her to take them off of my purchase! Sad day!

Just went to Target , the coupon didn’t come up when she scanned, said there were no eligible items , the manager told her it ‘d been a problem and to give me the lower priced item. I showed her your post, jncl the response from Target and the honored the higher priced item. Thanks!
You’re the best Collin! Everyone can choose the deals they want to do and that’s great that you’re able to post that even Target has taken responsibility for this glitch. I found a $19.99 set of earrings on clearance for 5.98 and then I was able to get one of the $50 Iron Man watches for my dad for Christmas. My husband just changed jobs and went down to half of his previous pay so please keep posting these deals for the big group of us that appreciate it!!!

I just tried this deal in CS, TX. I found a necklace on clearance for $5.08, and a full priced necklace for $29.99. The coupon worked with no problems! When I used my red card it was only $4.83 plus tax for both pieces. Great deal!! Thank you for sharing Collin!!

Worked for me today and a friend at the south myrtle beach store. I paid 2.38 for a 20 dollar watch and earrings that were originally 8 dollars! 🙂
this morning I called the Target store in Anderson Indiana and spoke with the manager I did confirm that yes this is true so I went to Target I bought a bracelet for $2.98 and I got a watch for $49.99 and I paid a total of $3.19 thank you so much!!!!!! Awesome deal 🙂

I saw there was a lot of controversy yesterday (and some very frowny-face attitudes on both sides) on whether this coupon was an error. I had decided to count myself out on the whole thing but after seeing Target’s clarification on Facebook this morning I will be making the trip. Their response was that the coupon should in fact take off the higher value item so as to give the guest the best deal. If anyone has problems at check out I would ask to speak with a supervisor.

This watch will make a great Christmas present for my hubby. He is a government worker and is forced to work with NO pay until Congress gets their head out their a##.

I waited out the storm yesterday to see how things would pan out with this deal.
Today I took my husband shopping and told him to pick out whatever watch he wanted. It worked! I bought some cheap earrings I needed and we got the $39.99 watch FREE in Cedar Park, TX.

Just did this deal in SA, Tx. The cashier was super nice and said she was going to do the deal herself.
This worked in Houston BUT only after going to Customer Service. I purchased a girl’s Xhiliration watch (reg 16.99) and a mens timex ironman (39.99) for $14.71. There was a 20% cartwheel for the Xhiliration watch. At the register the coupon scanned but didn’t deduct anything. On screen it came up coupon card 0.00. So I purchased anyways and then went to Customer Service. They were nice and easily adjusted it (saying another person had the same issue.) FYI – I brought in several screen shots of recent Target facebook posts saying they were still honoring the coupon today. Otherwise I would not have gone.

It worked for me in northern va fair lakes target! I actually had my link and my husband’s and got 4 items: 2 pairs of earrings at $2.38 each, an ironman watch at 39.99, and a unisex timex watch that was clearanced to 16.48 (originally 64.99!). This is how awesome the staff always is at my target– a manger rung me out at the jewelry counter. I told him I had 2 mobile coupons to use and offered to do 2 transactions. He said let’s see if it works with just one. It ended up taking off the 39.99 first, then the 2nd coupon took off 2.38. He then manually changed the 2nd discount to 16.48 off! So I paid 5.33 after tax and my redcard discount! I really love how coupon friendly they are at my target! Thanks for sharing this offer!
Man I wish I’d seen the Facebook post before I headed to Target. The Target I went to wouldn’t honor the more expensive item. I just decided to not get the watch and left and also deleted the text with the coupon link, so now I can’t go back and try it again 🙁
