JCPenney will be opening their doors at 8PM on Thursday, November 28th and will remain open through Friday, November 29th! They will also be once again giving away a FREE 2013 snow globe starting Friday, November 29th at 4AM, while supplies last.
If you plan on purchasing gift cards, they are offering up a coupon valid for $25 of any $25 purchase when you buy a 4-pack of gift cards (totaling to $100).

Me too! Won’t be shopping at Penney’s this holiday season and how are they giving out snow globes at 4am when they are opening at 8pm?
They’re probably doing it so it will attract another round of people. There will be those that go when it first opens and probably another round of people (that may not otherwise go) to get the free snow globe.

Not sure. Also curious if anyone knows whether Walmart and Kmart deals are valid online instead of in stores? I hope so. :*( With Walmart deals starting at 6pm ON Thanksgiving.. DURING Thanksgiving dinner time .. I would hate to miss out on the sales or dinner! Would be perfect if they were available online.
Seems to me that JCpenny will have the best deals this year.
Maybe it’s just me, and it probably is, lol, but I just haven’t seen anything at any store worth the rush and fight and hustle and bustle that is Black Friday. I’ve seen similar deals, especially on all the clothes and shoes and such, throughout the year. The jewelry maybe, but we get all ours through Helzberg anyway. I appreciate all your work Collin, not your fault the retailers aren’t offering anything “super special”. I think it’s because they don’t have to, too many just assume that anything on Black Friday is obviously a great deal, even if it’s not, and just spend spend spend.
I’m not excited about black Friday either. I feel like I work hard through the year to get similar prices. I am highly disappointed that so many retailers are opening on Thanksgiving Day. Why not just rename Thanksgiving to -First day of Christmas shopping season. I know that is extreme and some people would prefer to shop in the evening instead of getting up at 3am, but I do not plan on any Thanksgiving day shopping. It’s also affecting my black Friday shopping plans because going to a store at 5am to try to score a deal that is 12 hours old is pointless.
The only awesome deal I saw was at Toys R Us for the Leapfrog Leapad 2 for 39.99. I’m surely hoping that deal is also available online

I have been in retail for a lot of years, and I know from experience that the “sales” on black friday are usually only good, because its black friday. Either a few weeks before, or a week or so before Christmas, the price will be that low again, if not better! Although I despise that day, its fun to people watch 🙂 just please remember, it’s not the cashier’s fault and they will usually be more willing to help if you are nice! Being rude and belittling will get you no where! Happy shopping!
