I just a set of pots for my sister and mom and a few of the Jammie’s for my boys! Great deal!!!

    • jiya

Can you please tell me how they are for daily cooking & are their handles solid? I got 1 set from Macy’s 2 year back $29.99 & all the plastic handles just came off ):

      • Sammy

I have the same exact pot and pan set pictured here, I cook 4-5 days of the week and it’s in great condition after almost 4 years.

  2. Adrienne

are these prices in store too or just online?

    • Kristen

The pajamas were $7 in store today…not sure about the other things. They typically do price match the website in store if you ask them to. Clearance was an extra 50% off in store too today as part of the one day sale preview day.

  3. Nikki

Anyone know if they do ship to store like jcpenny?

    • luz

      No, they dont.

    • Krissy

Their website says they have ship to store and the items in my cart are available at my store, but there is no option to select my store. I live chatted and they told me it’s something new and although it’s on their website, store pick up is not yet available at most stores. They offered to waive my shipping charge for the inconvenience. Awesome! I can’t make it over to the mall today and I didn’t want to miss out on this One Day Sale.

  4. Riquel

Does anyone know if we can use the $10 off $25 in store tomorrow on the set of pans?

    • Allison

Yes, the coupon is good through tomorrow at 1pm!

    • marlena

the pots were marked as doorbusters when I was in there today and doorbusters are excluded in that coupon !

Which brand of kids/toddler coats are the warmest? My daughters preschool will go outside every day above 20 degrees so I want something great. Thanks!!!

    • Kristin

Not sure on these coats, but I always go for Children’s Place 3-in-1 coats. They can be worn as just a fleece zip up, just a parka, and both the fleece insert and parka together for a -15 degree rating. The design is awesome so when the two coats are worn at once, it isn’t “fussy” at all. Super comfortable and warm. Totally worth the money.

      • Adri mom

        Thanks Kristin!!

    • Sheena

I agree, the Children’s Place coats are very high quality and very warm. One of my daughters also has a Zero Exposure Brand coat, that I got on clearance in the spring from JCPenny, and it is very nice quality too. I think that a lot of the Old Navy coats and the ones pictured above are cute, but aren’t certainly the warmest of coats. I would go for Children’s Place or Zero Exposure 🙂

The handles are metal. Lids are probably tempered glass to withstand the oven. I could use a new set of stainless steel pots and pans. My issue with these is, even at $119.00 they are more than likely NOT 18/10 stainless steel. Which is actually where the durability and longevity of the pots/pans comes from. If you are new to stainless steel, these pans would be the way to go. If you can’t get the hang of it, you’re not out a ton of money. Unfortunately, in today’s world, most people don’t have the patience for stainless steel. The waiting for the food to release itself (which is actually when it’s ready to be flipped or what have you) isn’t usually agreeable to the microwave world in its current fast paced state. The other issue is people are terrified to use oils and butters. Most people don’t realize that stainless steel, you heat the pan thoroughly before adding oils. If done right, stainless steel is way better for you to cook with than coated pans.

    • Jennine

      Thanks for the insight jenn!

    • terri

I agree completely with you Jenn…I’ve been preaching this for years! So much healthier than toxic non stick pans!!

  7. jennifer

Is this happening In store also?

  8. amber

Can these deals be used with coupons or promotion codes and does anyone know where I can find either? thanks!

  9. Dawn

Will this sale be in stores also or only online?

  10. Manu

The reviews on the cooking set it awful.

    • Sammy

Never had a problem with this set in 4 years

  11. Christa

I got some AMAZING deals at Macy’s today! The best one was in purses – they had two large tables of Buy 1 Get 1 FREE! And they were good purses, like Fossil and Tignanello and awesome Tommy Hilfiger large quilted tote bags. Each bag was on sale, too, so you just had to pay the higher price. They also took that $10 off a $30 purchase coupon (and let me keep it, so I used it on 4 different transactions!). I got $250 in purses for $45!! Seriously! I also learned that if you want a product they don’t have in your size that isn’t online either, don’t give up; they will generate a list of all the stores that do still have it in stock, and call each one until they find it. It will ship to your house for free.

  12. Christa

Also, the store I was in got on the loudspeaker at 1:00 to say that Doorbuster prices would be valid all day today!

  13. molly

Can someone advise me please? My friend gave me a dress as a gift but did not like the dress so I thought I could do an exchange at JCP store to get a different dress or a store credit. I know the dress was on sale for $79.99 but when I ask the store manager she told me that I can exchange the dress for value of $2.97? why ? she rang the dress up and it shown that the dress was never sold less than $79.99. Please let me know what options do I have?

    • animity

      Did you have the receipt?

      • molly

No she did not give it to me 🙁

    • emily

my mom works there…the dress must have been a dress that was sold a while back and is no longer in the system..if that happends and it rings up full price you autmatically get 2.97 back as it was purchased a while ago on a sale. hope that helps

      • molly

Thank Emily for your comment 🙂 I still see the dress on their website so I don’t think that is the case. I just don’t like the dress and I don’t want to tell my friend I hate the dress 🙁

  14. Gina

If you add a cheap Clinique item to your cart, like the $3 sharpener, and use the promo code, CLINIQUE, the shipping is free!!

    • MeShell

Thanks Gina for the tip! I just used that Clinique code and it worked. $3 is better than $10 s&h

  15. Julie

A few of the First Impressions sets were actually marked at 7.99 in store, but rang up for 3.99. They also let me use the $10 off $25 really late in the day.

  16. Sabine

I got the pots and pans set last year when they had this sale and they are HORRIBLE!!! Food stuck to the bottom, I kept the lids to use on my Rachel Ray set that hubby bought me for Christmas because he felt bad. That was the only old thing from this set

  17. lisa

If you spend over $100 online you can use the code TXTCLB for 15% off!

    • Zos

Lisa, thank you. Code worked for me!!!

  18. Aysha

I was able to get 2 Martha Stewart contour memory foam pillows, each orig $60 for $15 each. Orig for 2= $120, on sale for 2= $40, I used a $10 coupon and got 2/ $30!

  19. pharm_chick

somebody mentioned on a previous macys ODS post about the shark strap mop that was 39.99… I’m taking my chances on it since a steam mop was on my BF shopping list, and 39.99 is a great deal! i also picked up a pair of bear paw “uggs” in grey.. i hope they are good quality!! and i used the $10 gc ofer posted some time back so sweet deals!!

    • Alyssa

I absolutely love my bear paw boots. Just as good in my opinion. I’ve got 2 pairs and I’m on my fourth winter with them. I just spray em every year. They look brand new still!

      • Sammy

Alyssa, what do you spray your boots with and where can I purchase it? TIA!

      • Pharmchick

Awesome, thanks for the review!! I’m looking forward to these!!

  20. dino

I went shopping today lots of great deal but keep in mind the 10.00 off is not valid on door busters 😓

  21. bea

hey I went to Macys in SoCal today and bought the one day sale items! I bought the black and decker blender@ $19.99 (orig. 44.99), American Rag jeans for $14.97 (orig. $59) and a Martha Stuart Cupcake holder for $14.99 (orig. $29.99) and Norelco razor for $39.99 (orig. $99.99) plus they said if I pre-sale I would get an extra 10% off on electronic items and I was able to get 25% off of the cupcake holder and jeans! As long as it is a regular, sale, clearance (as long as it is not electronic) you can pre- sale it and I was able to use my Macys card coupon for an extra $10 off $30 total purchase. Altogether I spent less than $75 for over $233.97 worth of products and everything was name brand and quality products.

  22. Suzanne H

Anyone figure out if we can use the Star $10 gift card online?

  23. Suzanne H

Not sure I will get to the store today so I ordered a Clinique mascara (cheaper items were sold out – figured I could get something for $10 or pay $10 for shipping and get nothing) + a London Fog girls coat for $27. My son’s class “adopted” a family for Xmas and the mom asked for coats for the kids. My son has a London Fog coat and it’s great quality so I’m hoping this will be too. They had it in pink which the girl asked for and you sure can’t beat the price! Thank you Colllin!

  24. Sjack

Any one owned a Martha stewart cookware set ? Its $59.99 for 10 pc. Is it good price ?

  25. Jessica

I believe the Star giftcard promo was taken down due to the greedy few a while back. It was a complete and utter debacle!

    • Mia

I just got my $10 code, so it’s still working! I think that they’re verifying the information, so it’s taking longer? Over a week for me!

  26. simmy04

has anyone tried the ralph lauren pillows and made the $10 off or macys $10 off 30 coupon work ?

  27. Pam

Am I missing something? Says the Macys Tools of the Trade is supposed to be on sale today. I click the link under it and it takes me to,the Macys page but instead of $29.99 it still shows $69.00. Can someone here help me or explain.
