Does anyone else have problems getting the audio to work on some of Colin’s videos??

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

How strange! I am so sorry that you are having audio issues! Have you tried watching the video in a different browser to see if that resolves the issue?

    • Terezia C.

I can’t watch them on my mobile, but if I click the link to take me to YouTube it works that way. But no audio if I watch directly on the page.

    • Guest

Yes! I can’t watch them in the app but I can go to the YouTube app and watch it from there

  2. Sri

I am also not getting audio

    • Vickie

I got Audio but I only get the picture if I maximize to full screen.

    • Su

      I am getting audio

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Hmmm… I wonder if YouTube is currently having issues?

  3. Mrs. Waller

Collin, you have saved my family so much money this year and you’ve helped us to make my daughter’s first Christmas a memorable one, for sure! As for popping pimples (LOL!), I’d actually recommend against it. =) I’m a nurse in dermatology and popping them actually increases your chances of scarring and could leave a little dark spot behind. But, it’s better to pop black heads if you get one of those. Hope this helps! God bless you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the advice – much appreciated! 🙂

  4. Kelly

Collin You are hilarious! My husband looks at me crazy when I am cracking up and then says “oh you are watching that blogger again!” Ha.

As far as your question, I am a popper too! But I have found Mary Kay Ance Treatment Gel works great. As soon as you feel one coming on put it on and put it on a few times a day. Most times you don’t even need to pop them zits because they go away on their own!

    Audio worked fine here.

Thank you for the great videos, it’s so nice to see that we are not the only ones that get all crazy over a good deal 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the Mary Kay tip! 🙂

  5. Vickie

Since you didn’t get audio, this is going to sound strange Sri & Kathy:

I’m team Bryn, leave it alone. But, usually at the onset of a zit I dab toothpaste (NOT the gel you want plain old minty toothpaste) on it before bed and by morning if it is not gone its close to it.

By the way, love the Christmas tree, your house is super cute!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Awe… thanks! 🙂

  6. Ashley

Ok, so I agree with your sister that you shouldn’t pop zits, but I still totally do. I’d rather have a popped mess than a nasty white pimple sticking out. I haven’t had much for acne in a long time, but I’m pregnant with #3 and I’ve turned into a greasy teenager again, yuck!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

That happened to me when I was prego too! 😉

    • amy

I have to ask…Are you having a girl? I broke out like crazy when I was pregnant with my girl.

  7. Katelyn Bellingham

You are so funny, Collin! I’m with you, if I have a zit I just have to pop it! Also the only coverup I know is that maybe I can use that 50% off Michael’s coupon to buy a mask!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      lol 😉

  8. jsturner1

I went to children’s place and bought a Disney t-shirt to get the $5 Frozen movie money but the website isn’t working. Anyone else having a problem with this???

    • jsturner1

      Never mind I fixed it

  9. trippy79

I would suggest trying Bare Minerals Blemish Therapy, it seems to work pretty well for me on those minor blemishes, it’s sold at ULTA Beauty and the Bare Minerals website.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks for the tip!

  10. Kellove

No problems with the audio here. Thanks for the heads up about Michael’s!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      YW! 🙂

  11. Deeanna

I’m a Collin when It comes to zits, unless I have somewhere to go somewhere special in the near future (which isn’t that often)!

  12. Roxy

Soooo I did not even see your scab until you mentioned it. Lol. And anyway, the image doesnt seem very clear today so you cant really see much.

Careful with the zits. Some of them might leave bad scars so its not worth it. Put some tea tree oil or even toothpaste. It will dry it overnight and then it will be easier to remove if you must

  13. Lauren

Sorry, Bryn, I’m Team Collin! I definitely pop the zits! You can do it gently and not create a scar. One of my brothers never does and he seems to have one in every photo! Yours, however, is not at all noticeable in the video. I have an Almay concealer wand that I really like. It has a spot treatment on one end and concealer on the other.

  14. Martha

I’m a Collin. I know you are not supposed to pop but I just can’t help myself! I love your crossbody purse! Where can I get one?

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

I got my purse as a gift almost 3 years ago from my dad and have no clue where he purchased. It’s definitely gotten lots of use. The brand is Liebeskind – hope that helps! 🙂

      • Martha

        Thanks!

  15. Happymama

Kroger just released a $5 off $25 ecoupon for Children’s Place. I’d stop by Kroger and buy the gift card and then use it at Children’s Place for even more savings! 🙂

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Wow! That’s awesome!

  16. Steph

Here’s another pop for team Colin!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      😉

  17. Melissa

Not to pop. My husband does and asks me to pop his . Soooooo gross

  18. Ashley

I used to love those paint by numbers when I was younger. They looked really neat when they were done so I didn’t mind that they took FOREVER. I’m sure you won’t mind either 😉 I’ll have to remember those for when my kids are a bit older!

  19. Kathy

Audio worked for me in Chrome but not IE.

  20. Rita

Hey Collin you were looking terrific.I need ur suggestion I want to buy a big purse like everyone carrying these days any suggestions where can I crack the dirt cheap deal as I am already over budget because of ur deals n don’t wanna spend over 20 dollars!!!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      I would suggest checking Amazon.com or 6pm.com.

  21. Sarah

Collin- persagel works great for zits. Put it on at night and usually gone by morning.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for passing along – sounds like a great product!

  22. Sheila

    Definitely POP THE ZITS

  23. Leah Grady

Thank you so much for the video Collin! It is so nice to get great deals!!! I can’t wait to go and score some! Thank you!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      You are so welcome! 🙂

  24. amber g

I went to childrens place today and they had 60% off lots of items, I didn’t have the actual coupon, but was able to verbally give her the code for in store purchase off the website. Got 6 shirts for my girls for $18.30.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      WooHoo!

  25. casey

For the shutterfly offer at childrens place, don’t you have to spend $40?

    • Tanique

no you need to spend $20! I spent $19.72 & didn’t realize it until I was given my receipt. She then said oh you could have added something extra to get the SF code.
Oh well. Darn it. I was in a hurry for school pick up & the line was super long.

      • casey

Bummer. I ordered a coat online, wish i would have tried in store

  26. victoria

totally pop that pimple! this is totally gross but i always pop them with tweezers carefully not letting the juice get on the rest of my skin then dab a q-tip in peroxide or alcohol and pimple is dried up within a day

  27. Ann Dee

I will shop vicariously through you, Collin. Here in ol’ Vernal, UT there isn’t much. I’ve been lucky to have online shopping for sure! Once in awhile I can grab a deal in Park City when we go.
ANYWAY, I know it’s not healthy to pop the zitsters, but ya just have to sometimes ya know? Team Collin! But we all need a Team Bryn to remind us… 😉

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      🙂

  28. Michelle McNatt- Gillen

My friend’s android galaxy s4 will never play youtube videos with sound within her browser on it…but if she goes right to youtube it does. Its so weird!

  29. tina

    hi Collin,
I am a popper too. It is so hard to not pop a zit. I have a story to share, my husband went to Rome a month ago and he told me that he saw a woman popping her boyfriend (husband) zit in a subway. I laughed so hard, not because that woman popped her boyfriend’s zit but because my husband did not observed anything but that.
I am in love with your videos. Keep up the good work.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Thanks, Tina! 🙂

  30. Betsy

You crack me up. I’m a popper too 🙂 I didn’t have audio issues….sorry to hear some did.

BTW – I’m going to use my 40% off Michaels coupon for a paint kit as well. My daughter had asked for one last week when we were there 🙂 Now I’m going back to get it his week tsince I used my couron last week for an gift for my son.

    • Betsy

I just saw all my typos. Yikes! That will teach me not to type with a 3 month old on my lap 🙂

      • S

Aww I have a 3 months old too!! (My first) it’s so hard to go anywhere! Been contemplating all say if I should go to babies r us to get those crazy wipes deal or not..

  31. Ashley

Collin, I have PCOS which is a hormonal imbalance and some of the symptoms of this is hormonal acne–I constantly have acne on my chin and that area. I bought a blemish extractor at Sephora and I love it. One end takes care of black heads and the other end pops zits. Its sterile–I wash it after each use with alcohol, which cuts down on getting bacteria back in the open zit. So get an extractor, invest in a Clarisonic (nothing else gets my face cleaner than using a Clarisonic), and use acne gel each night.

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

Thanks for the great acne fighting tips! 🙂

  32. Lindsay

A Popper All the Way! Appreciate your youth while you have it! You’re still young enough for pimples! We love you Collin! Merry Christmas to you and your family!

    • Collin (Mrs. Hip)

      Merry Christmas! 🙂

  33. Rachel

Love your site Collin! I also love The Children’s Place and almost exclusively shop there for my 4 kiddos. Don’t forget, you can buy a $40 gift card and get an extra $10 coupon that can be stacked with the 30% one!!!! Turn around and use the gift cards right then. I always do this deal at Christmas. Love it!

    • Rachel

My children’s place would not let me stack the 10 off with the 30%! The register took both but the cashier removed one and said I couldn’t. Has anyone else had this issue??

  34. Serena

    Collin,

This may sound crazy, but I know you are into eating healthy etc. so you may appreciate alternative health. I had PMD D which is basically PMS half the month for a while. I saw a really really good homeopathic doctor who suggested something for balancing my hormones. Everyone is different as far as. What works for them, but you may try going the homeopathic route. I used to have acne especially around my period. id even get the cystic sore ones that don’t have a center, you know? If I get them now i know my hormones are off, or I’m eating too much fat or chocolate, lol. I’m 32 now. When I was pregnant with my last baby I got greasy skin and had zero Intimate Drive, sorry if that’s TMI. I found out I just needed a different homeopathic for those symptoms and the greasiness and other issue went away. Just something to consider.

  35. Crystal

Your videos always cracks me up Collin. Thanks for all the tips. I have to agree with Bryn on leaving the zits alone. 🙂 You might run the risk of scarring if you pop them. I love shopping at the children’s place but i hardly ever go in store. I always shop online when they have the free shipping and an additional discount code.

  36. Anne

Collin, you are so cute! I wouldn’t have noticed the zit if you hadn’t mentioned it. We women can be so hard on ourselves, can’t we?

  37. Barnacle

    A. You were definitely not having an ugly day! (I’m not sure you ever do!)
    2. Talk to Sue Storm about hiding zits 😉
    £. I’m a popper too.
    d. Thank you and Bryn (and everyone else!) for this site!!

  38. Carol_R

I love your shopping videos Collin.

  39. Cindy G

Team Collin here as well. I can hardly stand it if I’m talking to someone that has one on their face. I just want to pop it for them!!!!

  40. jenny bosse

I admit I pop mine too! But for cover up Collin I use Covergirl+ olay foundation works great; it’s a little expensive but you can get great deals at the drugstores:)

  41. Lisa

I am definitely a popper and it’s nice to know there are a lot of them out there! I like to do home remedy stuff and I have used the mint toothpaste and I also just read today that if you put honey on your zit it should go away quickly! I will be trying that soon! Merry Christmas!

  42. Sara

Does anyone have a shutterfly calendar code they do not plan to use?

I have a $20 towards cards from there I will trade gladly.

    Email… Sara12240 @ aol.com

  43. Jen

Collin you make me laugh! That is one of the reasons I love to watch your videos! I am with you on the zits … I have to say when I eat to much chocolate (Hersheys in particular) I always break out really bad! You would think knowing what the chocolate does to my face and waste line would be reason enough not to dig in, but I still love me my chocolate!

  44. Karen

Popper. Can’t help myself, lol! Anyway, I got those xmas pj’s at Children’s Place and they are great, so comfy, my kids love them. Also, on Amazon I just got the Prime free trial even though I already had it in the past and cancelled it. It usually didn’t allow me to get it again whenever I clicked on it but I just changed my email due to changed to cable internet and I think that must be why I got the free trial again. And lastly, LOVE your videos! Do you get a lot of ‘looks’ from people when you do these though? Do any stores ask you not to do videos in the stores? Just wondering.

  45. jenn

Hi Collin. I, like most people watching this video, didn’t a zit on your face until you literally had a giant arrow pointing to it. I try not to pop zits, unless they are really bothering me.
E.L.F. makes a great “Zit Zapper” roller ball that you can buy in store or online. It works well and is only a dollar. Reviews: https://www.eyeslipsface.com/elf/face/cleansers/zit_zapper
Also, the zit popping tool can help decrease the stress and scaring resulting from popping them. Check out the Tweezerman Skin Tool that are sold on Amazon and in drugstores.

Also, thank you and your awesome crew that do such an awesome job with this whole site!!! You all are sooooo awesome! 😀

    • Jenn

Hi, I second the Zit Zapper from ELF. I always get one at Target & $1 is a great price. For those who suggested tea tree oil, this stuff has that in it along with salicylic acid, witch hazel & Camphor.

As far as covering up acne, I LOVE the new Maskcara foundation set. I use her “light” set on my fair skin. It has some yellows in it so it really cuts down on the redness. Love Cara’s whole system!

Great video! I needed to order from Shutterfly anyway, so now I will hit up Smith’s (with ecoupon deal) & The Children’s Place before ordering. And maybe even the Hallmark store for the free 8×8 book with $15 purchase. Thanks!

  46. lisa

Collin, Try tea tree oil on the zit. It works great! I also pop can’t stand it when people don’t. Good luck with the zit and happy holidays!

  47. Jeff Walker

I am a Collin, Popin how I like to do it! Thanks Collin, for all you do throught the year! May God bless you this coming year.. Micheals had some awesome deals. Hoping after Christmas it will be 90%!!

  48. mel

I didn’t even see the blemish till you pointed it out- which is always how it is- are so self-concious of it! My mom always said put a warm/hot cloth on it and sometimes it will pop on its own. I do both wait and see and some times ya just gotta smush it! ;P

  49. amanda

If anyone has a free shutterfly calendar code they wouldn’t mind sharing, I’d really appreciate it! I’ve got one made for my mom, but don’t want to pay $22 for it! ahoerschelman@yahoo.com. THANK YOU:)
