The discount is not valid on video games consoles or accessories they told me yesterday.
Hi Amy,
Well, the reader who emailed me received the automatic 10% off discount in-store when she purchased. Also, in the exclusions I just see these – Playstation 4 consoles and Xbox One consoles… BUT I do not see anything about the Wii being excluded.
Collin my store had to physically scan a barcode by the register after the purchases were rang up, so some cashiers may not scan that if you get a video game. My store also is excluding video games and consoles. : (
the exclusions also say ALL VIDEO GAMES
I am the one that told Collin about the deal- we had no issue with them scanning the 10% coupon on the Wii. I was ready to ask about it if they did not do it, but i had no problems! All of the signs in the electronics aisles specifically stated the exclusions and no game consoles were listed other than playstation and xbox (and only the newest versions). My husband was quite excited to get himself a Christmas present.
Also, the video games individually are excluded. My store exclusions were exactly as listed in the online post- they were allowing discount on electronics as long as not in the excluded categories.
I also was able to get the 10% off the wii u console without a problem. That was the only thing we purchased and the guy said it must have been an oversite but since the register took it, it wasn’t excluded.
Can anyone fill me in on these headphones? I am guessing they are popular with teens and college students…? I an clueless about them!
They are popular with that age group. There are several different models. So if you’re buying for a picky person, give a gift card. Speaking from experience.
I listened to them at Target because they have a display. I’m not sure about this particular model but the one’s I listened to sounded amazing!
Have these for our 6 year old who kept stealing my husband’s noise canceling headphones on airplane/car rides.. they work great!! Sound quality is great and the noise canceling is awesome! ..awesome for us too cause we can’t hear any residual noise coming from the headphones either!
I am 22, I workout 5 days a week and I have to say…I just got these and they are AWESOME! You can’t hear anyting when you have them on. I would HIGHLY recommend for that price. :))
They are sold out online so unlikely that they will price match in store.
They price matched at our Target, even after sold out.
They price matched the headphones at our store, too. Took awhile to get the headphones from the backroom, but got them both for $89. ($99 + 10% off)
My Target refused to price match. They said they do not price match Christmas Ads! Frustrating!
I’m not positive, but I think the math may be wrong on the WiiU deal.
Whoops! I am correcting! 🙂
The only consoles excluded are listed as xbox one and ps4. I have my wii u at home. The actual out of pocket is $269.99(was likely typo in the original post). This is a great deal. Even better than the newegg 219 for the 8gb version.
Yep… that was a typo! 😉 Correcting now.
I was told you could not use the 10% off if u price matched.
Will the 5% Red Card discount stack with the in-store discount for possibly even more savings?
Yes it is stacking 🙂
Yes. I bought the Wii just dance 2014 video game and I did not receive the 10% discount. I went to customer service and told the lady at customer service that I did not get the discount and she pull out a piece of paper and read that the discount did not appy to any electronics, video games or game units
I purchased a game for the Wii U yesterday and was told it was excluded from the 10% discount.
Beats are awesome headphones I personally liked them better than the Bose pair that I have. They are endorsed by a Dr. so they have to be good!
hahaha endorsed by a doctor. made my day.
hahhaa endorsed by a doctor:) I am keeping fingers crossed that you are very humorous and not very clueless lol
Target just matched my price even though they normally do not do a price match on out of stock items at best buy. I asked for a manager and they did it. Plus I got the 10% off and an additional 5% for using my Target red card! Great deal – thank you!
Got wii u console mario bundle! 10%off 5% redcard and $25 gift card. decent deal for this bundle.
Target’s price match policy states that the item being price matched must be in stock at the time of the price match. The headphones are out of stock ;(
**Out of stock on bestbuy.com **
Yes but I asked for a manager and they made an exception and did it for me!
The price matching holiday policy ended as of Dec 21. If the store is doing the price matching they are not following policy. Here is the link https://corporate.target.com/about/shopping-experience/holiday-price-match
every nook was sold out at my store in Iowa.
didn’t mean to double post!!
This is like Walmart’s holiday price match. It applies to items already purchased. If you already bought X from Target between those dates and now X is cheaper at amazon, best buy, etc. Target will refund the difference. This is not the same as price matching at the time you purchase an item.

Paid $256 for Wii U after 10% and 5% red card, using $20 dlls previous gift card… awesome deal but make sure to call your store to be sure that is available. I got lucky in the second Target xD
Got the Wii U and the 10% off, no problems!
i bought the wii u from target on the 20th and my store was doing the 10% off but i didn’t get a card? Did it start the day after?
