I took care of mine on Thursday. I couldn’t believe the 50% and 75% off stickers and markdowns. I got Revlon blush for less than $2 and Pantene items for less than $1.25. Plus I noticed tons of stickers on things I would never buy but I bet some teens would go crazy over like nail polish and fake nails in all sorts of colors/designs, makeup that is on the cheaper side already but lots of bold colors and shimmer. Also was going to buy some Olay for a relative with 75% stickers but the exp. date was Feb. so I didn’t. It is worth your time to just walk the aisles and look.

Did CVS change their ECB policy? I went there with 3 expired ECBs (exp 25th) on the 27th and was told, they couldn’t except these anymore due to some Corporate telling them not to except them after expiration.
Till this date, I’ve NEVER had an issue w/ CVS taking them. Granted, I try to use em up before hand, but the few times they were less then a week, NEVER any issues! I was so teee’d I said, well, I dont want these items then and walked out.
I sure hope I wasnt feed a line cuz I left w/o those 3 ECBs.
I know my store still takes them as well as expired coupons from the coupon machine. Maybe check with that stores manager?

my cvs is so good. i had 3 huggies coupon expired on 13th nov and 5 ecb expired on 27th nov. They allow me to use all coupon and ecb.
My experience is that it totally varies by the particular store as to whether they accept expired ECBs. I shop at several CVS stores around my area and some of the take expired and some do not. I just go to the one that suits my needs at the time. My favorite store that is closest to me stopped taking them because they had a huge loss back in the summer and management came down hard on them and how they did their coupons. I have a great realationship with that manager and many of the other employees there and I had never had trouble with them accepting expired before, but now the manager or other cashiers refuse to take them from me. I wonder if all of the stores may follow suit eventually. I hope not.
Craig, the same thing happened to me a couple months ago when my store said that corporate told them to stop accepting. I had two ECBs that had expired within the week. Previously my store would take them. I called the customer care center…the first person I spoke to was kind of cranky and would only reissue one of them, saying that it says right on there only valid til the expiration date or something. I said I understand that, but this has not been the PRACTICE at this store. I was still not happy with the solution, so called back and got another rep who was more than happy to help me out—actually gave me more than I was due.
They are NOT supposed to take any expired coupons of any kind–so if your store does, they are doing you a favor. If your store’s policy changes, they probably got in trouble for it and were told to change.
And you know this how??? It sounds like each store/manager is making the decision whether or not to accept them.
When you scan an expired manufacturer’s coupon, it tells you that it’s expired and to give it back to the customer, and there is no option to override it. If you scan a CVS expired coupon, it tells you not to accept it but it does give you the option to override it. They can get in trouble for overriding it. If your store does, they are simply doing you a favor. Don’t expect them to take expired coupons in any form, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.
I actually work for CVS, and can tell you that the corporate policy is to accept NOTHING that is expired! Some stores still do anyway, but they are doing so as a favor to customers. They are not required to do it, and if they get caught by corporate the manager and the cashier that accepted the coupons will be reprimanded.
I had two that expired and had not realized it. The manager rung me up and showed me on the screen where it said not to accept. It was a list with a few other reasons. She did an override for me because I shop there do often.

If it shows up on your account, you should be able to click the printer icon on the right and print it at home.

wondering if I am able to purchase $30 worth of select P&G products which includes at least $10 worth of Crest 3D White products and get one $10 EB back (for spending at least $30) and get another $5 EB (spend $10 get $5 back on Crest 3D white products)? Is double dipping allowed in this case?

Cvs doesn’t double dip. 3D white products in the $30 deal are different than the spend $10 deal.

I have a deal in my ad where almost everything CVS brand is buy 2 get 1 free! I don’t see this in the breakout, so I wonder if it’s a regional deal? I’m in Las Vegas..

looking at my ad it seems there are two seperate spend 30.00 get 10.00 sales. i was going to purchase pantene, covergirl get 10.00 and roll that on the diaper deal. also my ad shows cvs brand products b2g1.
Just look at the event code in parentheses and if they are different, then they’re separate deals. My ad, the #s are the same.

Seriious deals!!! All Christmas just went 75% off. I got a crockpot for $7.50, emergency LED lanterns for $2.74-$3.74, telescope $7.50, headphones $2.49, earbuds $1.25. Good gift closet stocking items!

palm beach county Florida. All signs said 50% off but managers at 2 stores said 75% off but since it was before 9 am, not showing on registers, had to do it manually. By the time I got to the third CVS, 9 a.m ., everything was automatically price checking and ringing up at 75% off!
and that telescope was $3.74 not $7.50 🙂
My store near Dayton, oh was also marked 50% but ringing up 75%. Got some wrapping supplies, the led lantern and the peanuts cardboard coloring house for less than $10 total. They had a ton of stuff but my 3 little ones were done shopping. I might go back later…after nap time 🙂
I noticed the Zantac coupon says redeemable at Walmart. I don’t think CVS will accept coupons with another store’s name on it, am I right?
How does the P&G rebate work? If I don’t use any coupons, but I pay with ECB’s (and therefore, pay very little oop), will I still receive the $15 rebate? Any advice would be greatly appreciated…my ECB’s expire today & I need to get them used in the best way possible. Thank you for any advice 🙂
Shel, the rebate looks at the price of the items, not the price you paid. I always pay with coupons and ECBs and have no problem getting the rebate.
Barb, they changed the wording on the rebate. It now says
Rebate applies to the price paid after any coupon or discount has been applied.
Mel,thanks for this info. I looked at the whole form and didn’t find the new wording until I zoomed in and found it just above the section that gets cut out to send in. What a bummer. I think a lot of us will not be doing these p&g rebates anymore.
They will count the subtotal as the amount towards the rebate after all coupons, and they consider store rewards coupons.
I found myself in a trickbag b/c I did the Free Hunger Games movie ticket, and my OOP was only around $6 after coupons & bucks. That was a $14 swing! Luckily, my mom bought some Olay face lotion, so I snagged her receipt LOL to add to my stack!

I had a question that I’m hoping someone can answer. I was 5 cents short of $30 on the P&G ECB deal, and only got $5 ECB back. I have forgotten the rules. I guess you have to be exactly $30 or more to get the $10 ECB? The CVS employee was very nice and gave me the $10 ECB, though. Thanks!
Only these “tiered” deals, where the ad says Spend X OR X amount will they not print short, you have to hit the amount needed. All other spend deals, will print at the 98% rule.

Is it a limit of one bottle of Pepsi or one offer of 10 ecr? I’ve never seen ‘limit 1’ bottle of soda and at 99c, why bother include it but has anyone tried it?
It is Limit 1 for the 2L’s. If you buy more than 1 in the same transaction, the 1st one rings at .99, the rest ring up regular price. Very strange, normally the limit ranges from 3 to 6. You can buy them in separate transactions to get the .99 price.
My cvs had christmas at only 50% off in central indiana
In Indiana, my store had some Nexxus hair products 75% off. Today, I bought 4 Nexxus split end conditioners at $4.32 each, and 1 Nexxus split end repair serum for $4.24. This totaled $21.52 before taxes then it qualified for the $10 ECB (as the ad does not state that it excludes clearance items.) Therefore, before taxes, I got 5 Nexxus hair products for $11.52 = $2.88 each. Great deal!
