I purchased a foaming hand soap a couple years ago and refill is with regular hand soap. The soap still comes out foamy and lasts 3x longer because of the foamy consistency. HTH

You can make any soap “foamy” by adding about an inch of soap and filling the rest with water. You need to use a foaming soap bottle, so I just keep a couple old ones and refill. A regular soap bottle won’t work. I do this with dish soap, body wash, etc. My kids are very young & wasteful and it works great to reign in their usage. 🙂

no, just most people like the foaming kind. The foaming ones are antibacterial, so if you avoid triclosan you’ll want to avoid the foaming soap.
