  2. Julie

Did this deal this morning in Cincinnati and the 2 pack of tape was on clearance for 2.99 then there was $1 off peelie so 1.99 and I got $5 extra bucks! Great moneymaker! Thanks!

  3. Mandy

  4. Autumn

I saw someone post on my Facebook that the limit is really 2 — She posted a picture of the receipt, she received $10 EB for buying Nexcare! 🙂 It was $7+ MM!

    • Emmi

      Sweet!

  5. Alyssea

The tape deal was limit 2 at my store in the twin cities. 🙂

  6. Paige

I did this deal this morning as well. They were on clearance for $1.37, and had $1 off peelings on the packages. Got two of them for under a dollar and got $10 ECB. out in metairie, la.

  7. CW

At my CVS it appears they are deleting all Nexcare tape except one type (2 inch wide paper tape- $7.30) and replacing it all with CVS brand tape.

    • An

      Same with my store!!

  8. Cassie

Did this deal this morning. Had the 2 pk of paper tape on clearance for 75% off at $1.37 and the clear flexible tape on clearance for 50% off at $2.74. There was only one of each available at my local store. Got both. My total was $4.51 (tax included) and I got $10 back. No coupons needed! I got 2 packs of free medical tape and made $5.49! Fantastic!

    • Tomoko

I did exactly the same thing 🙂 My store also only had one of each.

  9. Pauline Moore

    eh..probably cleared by now lol

  10. Janet

Is the tape where they have all the band aids and such or somewhere else? Thanks!!

    • Angel

      Yes

    • Angel

Yes, next to the band aids.

  11. Caitlin

Worked like a charm. Got 2 with 5 left on the shelves in W Monroe, LA. There was a limit of 2 for me. Nice money maker at $1.37 each.

  12. Jenn

Just worked for me. Found two on clearance for $1.44 each with $1 peelies attached. $9.12 money maker 🙂

  13. Ashley

I just came from CVS and saw this post and ran right back out to score this deal.. found three different types on clearance for 1.44, 1.49, and 2.99 plus there were the $1 peelies…I scored two plus the candy bar single deal for $1.32 including tax… and got the $10 ECB back with more on the shelf in Richmond VA

    • Katie

      Oooh, which Richmond store?

      • Ashley

The two on Ironbridge still had some left

  14. paintfrog

My store had the gentle paper ($1.37) and durable cloth kind (2.89). I got two gentle paper and used a $1 peelie… got back $10! As for the cheap 25 cent candy… check for any 25 peelies! I got a candy bar for free.

  15. Karen

I didn’t see any clearance at my store. I picked up one for 4.59 and use a.50 mfg q I got w/a sample in the mail so still a small mm. Maybe I’ll ck another store for clearance tomorrow.

  16. Lin

Just went to CVS tonight, the items were not marked as clearance, I was trying to find out the prices on a few of them to choose the cheapest and two came up as 75% off/ $1.44. No peelies on mine but got the 10 ECB! I thought for sure it would be all gone by Sunday night, but tried since I was in the area running errands.

  17. Toni

The clearance tape did not print the ECB at my store, only the tapes that were over $5. I made a special trip last night because I saw the clearance tape a few days ago and was hoping for a money maker.

    • irene

Eek, that would be my luck, too!

  18. Sue

Was this an advertised deal or regional? I don’t see it in my circular (Michigan)?

    • steph

Don’t have an ad in front of me but the online ad showed it on page 10 I believe. Down at the bottom right hand corner there is a picture showing Aleve and a Futuro brace and if you read the wording it says $5 eb when you purchase any Nexcare tape. It is right next to the Excedrin deal. HTH.

      • Sue

Thanks, Steph. I see it now; it was very hard to see. Thanks so much!!

  19. Newbie

My cvs had them for $1.34 a piece!!!! Yesssshhhhhh!!! 🙂

  20. Amanda

Is anyone buying this tape and does not need it but is feeling generous? I take care of a young lady with multiple wounds and she goes through about a roll every two days due to frequent dressing changes. Her medical expenses are outrageous and they are not well off. If anyone would be nice enough to mail a roll I can give out the address via email. Thank you all, skynypig@yahoo.com

    • Sam g

I can spare some. I was able to get 4 today and had no idea what to do with them.

      • Amanda

Sam g that would be great! Please email me at skynypig@yahoo.com and I will give you the address. Thank you so much!

  21. kate

I’m surprised everyone could use the clearance ones… around me they say ” you can’t do that… it’s clearanced or find anyway possible to make sure you don’t get the deals.. they’re not really coupon friendly around here lol time to move to LA 😉

    • axhilli

I’m surprised also. It says not valid with clearance on the tags at my local store.

  22. nilu

worked for me—wasn’t marked –just scan, scan…thanks!!

  23. L

Worked for me in WV. They were only marked 25% off but scanned for $1.36 and I did get a $1.00 peelie.

  24. lsed12

I went to my local store and was able to find some for less than $4 and didn’t see any clearance. There was fine print that said it excluded clearance. Still managed to make $1.17 with rewards (bought the cheap candy bar.) Can’t complain!

  25. Brandi

Found some on clearance. Tried to get it and use 4 coke reward coupons and the manager said the coupon says one per purchase, so you can only use one. I said that means I can only use one per 12pack. She said her manager told her that a purchase is one trip to the cash register. Am I going crazy? Anyone else having this issue at CVS? That was only the 2nd time I went to that store and not going back.

    • Mel

This is in their FAQ page –

Does CVS/pharmacy allow more than 1 coupon to be used per transaction?
      Hide Answer
      A. Yes. CVS/pharmacy allows ONE CVS/pharmacy and ONE third party manufacturer coupon per item. A transaction is defined as the entirety of purchases on a single receipt. ExtraBucks® Rewards coupons can be applied toward the final cost. Normal exclusions apply. See the bottom of the ExtraBucks® Rewards coupon for details.

I haven’t had that problem at CVS, but there’s one Walgreens, that I no longer shop now, that told me I could only use 1 coupon per transaction. It didn’t matter if I had in-ad coupons or not, it was 1.coupon.period. I left the store w/out buying anything. When I called CS, they didn’t seem to care. Just told me that the manager can put restrictions on how many coupons customers can use!!

  26. Brandi

That’s where they get around everything by saying the manager can do what they want. Even their policy says a transaction is made up of purchases, each item being a purchase. I knew I wasn’t crazy. Then she said I didn’t have $20 worth of stuff to use a $4 off $20 purchase, which $5×4 is $20 by itself plus I had other stuff. I didn’t end up using the $4 off 20 since I was tired of trying to explain stuff to her. Oh well, lesson learned, don’t shop there.

  27. Newbie

The weekly ad this weeks states “buy any Conair hair appliance and get $5 ECB” and when you check the weekly ad online it says “starting from $4.99.” One cvs allowed me to do it and she manually gave me the $5 ECB cuz it wouldn’t print…another cvs (I tried to use another acct) refused saying “online deals and in store deals are different.” But it’s the EXACT SAME AD! Can someone tell me who’s right? One cvs took it since I showed her the weekly online ad and the other cvs refused 🙁

  28. L

You know this is where things get confusing. I am looking at my ad. On the Nexcare deal it says “Buy Aleve 200ct, liquid gels 80ct, ANY Nexcare Tape or Futuro GET $5 ECB. It does not exclude clearance. But the Conair says Buy any Conair Hair Appliance EXCLUDES clearance get $5 ECB. So I would think the Nexcare Tapes on Clearance should give you $5 ECB if the store says no, show them the ad. Its on page 8. I am lucky the CVS stores in my area are coupon and deal friendly.

    • Newbie

But the Conair was not on clearance!
It’s originally $4.99~ it’s a comb/brush~ 🙁 if the sale was totally different like if only said “BOGO batteries” but the weekly ad didn’t have that mentioned, I would understand where that “only applies to online purchases” would come in~ but this one, it’s the same deal and Mormon clearance 🙁

  29. Taryn

Can anyone confirm if this is still working?! Thanks 🙂

  30. molly

Worked for me this afternoon! $5 printed no problem and the tape was on clearance! Yay!

  31. Krazy Saki-man

Worked for me this afternoon around 4pm(central time).

  32. Laurie

Nexicare worked for me at 830 tonight. Bought two clear tapes 4.69? A piece and got $10 back! Good luck!

  33. diane

    worked for me today – got 2 @$1.44 – $1.00 peelie; paid .88 got $10 ECB!!

  34. Kidsallgone

No peelies 🙁 & no clearance 🙁 (at least on what was left) but found one for $4.19 and another for $4.69. I had a $4 & $5 ecb so I asked if he would adjust it down (after he said,”It won’t accept the $5 ecb.” Idiot manager! I hate going in there but needed to pick up a script). Anyway, I got a $10 ecb back so I was happy 🙂

  35. Kidsallgone

PS the bottom of my receipt said Aleve: offer reached after I bought the 2 Nexcare tapes since they were tied together in the same ecb deal.

  36. savvy southern coupon girl

I went in to do this at my local store Sunday night and a manager was taking all of the peelies off the nexcare items. I asked her why she was doing this and she said it was store policy when items were on sale. I pulled out the store policy and read it right there and she said it was up to the store manager. Is this legal?

  37. Jennifer

I have only been to Cvs once, I did get the reward card but is it like Walgreens? I do get nervous often at Walgreens!

    • Kidsallgone

      Reward card?
