I was wondering. The sharpie coupon says only one coupon can be used for it. Is that one staples coupon or coupon total as that would pair nicely with recent sharpie manufacturers coupon?

  2. Mai

Can we use the 20% off q for ink?

    • mb

no its excluded thas what i was hoping for also

      • Janet

To Mai and mb – The 20% off coup. that I printed DOES NOT exclude ALL INK. It does EXCLUDE Epson ink and toner and also HP ink and toner but it makes no mention of other brands of ink or toner. There are, however, a lot of other Exclusions – such as – not valid on desktop or laptop computers, tablets, netbooks, Apple products, Bose products, Amazon Kindle, Epson ink and toner, HP ink and toner, custom printing orders placed online, gift cards, mobile phones and mobile phone services, Staples EasyTech(sm) professional-grade and on-site services, depot repair and parts, phone cards or postage stamps.

        • Dennis

Even though the coupon states HP and Epson ink/toner are excluded, if you can get the cashier to scan it, it will take 20% off them just like other products. I just got back from Staples and confirmed it.

          • Janet

Dennis – I’m sure that the info you have provided concerning the purchase of Epson or HP ink/toner will be of interest to Mai and mb – as for me I have a Canon printer. I was only trying to clarify that the 20% off coupon that I printed DOES NOT exclude ALL INK.

Collin, THANK YOU so much for posting the previous Staples Deal where the 5 ream of paper came out free with Coupon. I was able to get 4 packs (household limit) and donated them to my sons 3rd classroom. The teacher, the office staff and the principle were shocked that I scored them free after mail in rebate! She was very happy and hopefully, now has paper for the remainder of the school year πŸ™‚ Mother of the month goes to me haha Thanks again πŸ˜‰

Love the free paper deals. Got my husband to do that the last time they were free, but he did it begrudgingly (I think he feels embarrassed to get free stuff!). Hope he’ll agree to do this one, too.

Last week I tried to use the deal for the 10 ream case with a store coupon and the easy rebate, but was a nightmare I went to the store 3 times to explain the deal after I brought the case, but the store manager explain to me that I cannot use a store coupon and an easy rebate together! I was really disappointing because that was my first time trying to use coupons there! πŸ™

I bought this paper a few weeks ago. It worked like a regular transaction. I presented my coupon and paid $4-something with tax. The rebate printed with my receipt. I had zero problems submitting the rebate on the Staples Rebate Rewards site. See if you can find a policy on the Staples website concerning using coupons with rebates, print it and take it with you to the store.

Lizbeth – were you trying to use a 15% off your entire in-store purchase? Two weeks ago, the cashier said that I could use one on my paper purchase even though I was getting a rebate back. I offered to hand her the 15% off coup. that I had and she said “oh, that’s OK, I have one right here” and showed it to me so I thought she had input it but when I looked at my receipt (after I got home) there wasn’t anything additional deducted. As long as my rebate form printed and I get my ream of paper for FREE except for the NJ tax, I’m a happy camper.

Was able to get the Brother wireless laser printer that I’ve heard such good things about for $80 – regular price was $150, on sale for $100 then 20% off. I guess I need to go back for some paper!

  7. Stephanie

I have never done the easy rebate can someone explain how it works? Thanks

    • carmen

For starters, I suggest that you type “staples paper” in the SEARCH box at the top of the page on THIS website…this deal has come up a few times recently…you can read all the comments from Collin and hip2save readers that may be really helpful.

The 17 dollar rebate does it come in a staples credit or a visa card to be used at another store other than staples?

    • Janet McClelland

Hi, Yogi – The $17. dollar rebate on the Staples 5 Ream pkg. does come back as a Visa Card that can be used anywhere that accepts Visa Cards even though the card says Staples on it. The money on it doesn’t exp., however, if you don’t use it up within 6 mos. (I think) monthly fees will start to be deducted from the balance. Also, when you use the card it has to used as if it was a “credit card” transaction. I know that’s goofy because it is a “debit card”. I have only used the ones I have at Staples to buy more paper that I get easy rebates back on. The cashier input the card as a “credit” purchase and the receipt printed with the balance info on it. I bought more paper with it that had an easy rebate and the rebate form printed for the paper with NO problems. I will keep buying the paper at Staples as long as I can get it for FREE and just have to pay the 7%NJ tax. Being able to input the info online (Staples Easy Rebates) with nothing to mail is a big, big plus. I’ve been doing their rebates for many years. Any rebates I get back, I put the money aside in a special envelope and use that money to purchase more items (such as the paper) that offer Easy Rebates.

Can you stack a $2/1 or $1.50/1 Sharpie product mfc with the 50% off Staples coupon? Or is it just one or the other?
