If you live in Arkansas and some other states you are out of luck now – no rewards allowed by state law for prescriptions. We can’t get gift cards or even bonus coupons for using a particular pharmacy 🙁

Silly question do you scan cartwheel before coupons or after coupons? It’s my first time using cartwheel I am a little confused

I was told by a Target manager that it needs to be scanned last because it will mess up the rest of the transaction! I’ve never tried it any other way, so I don’t know if that’s true or not!
Cartwheel always is scanned last. Employees should know this by now. It will lock up the transaction if not.
Cartwheel should always be scanned LAST, it locks up the register, I’ve had this happen to me & trust me it sucked! Full cart of groceries, had to go to another register & take everything out of bags & rescan.
They fixed whatever glitch that was causing it to freeze up, so you can give it first. But if you’re doing a threshold deal, such as the spend $50 save $10 with the coupon it’s best to give cartwheel last.
you can do it at any point in the transaction now!! I do it all the time and I have a super coupon friendly target!! =) =) =) Happy shopping!!

One question though – I’ve gotten plenty of the gift card deals before, but the cashiers never let me use the gift card the same day. They always say I have to wait and that they won’t work the same day. I’m in SoCal – is that information wrong or are there different rules in different states. Would love to be able to roll those cards right away!
Hi Chris, I’m in NorCal (SFO Bay Area) and I always put items with gift card deals on first transaction and use those gift card I got from the first transaction to pay for my second transaction. I haven’t encountered a cashier who refused me for splitting my transactions for this purpose.

I’m also in CA, and I was also told in the past that I couldn’t use the card the same day–which I assumed put me on the honor system :), since the card was activated. The other day, when the cashier handed me the gift card, I said, I can’t use this today, right? And the cashier said, No, you CAN, as long as it’s a different transaction. So maybe it depends on the cashier.

I was at target yesterday evening and got the banana boat sun screen and if u pull up your mobile coupons there is a coupon under there that gives you a free travel size banana boat cooling sun screen one free up to the $2.59 with the purchase of one larger size one. I got a free travel size one worth $1.99.
If someone’s looking for a deal on toilet paper, I got a pretty good deal on Charmin Basic, but I had to put a little of work into it.
There’s a 5% Cartwheel discount for Charmin Basic, and I noticed that the 36 pack was $16.19 at my Target (regular price). I combined this with a manuf. coupon and my 5% Target card discount.
I had to ask for help though, because when I scanned the package, it came up as $16.79…I just asked a TeamMember and she radioed someone at the front to let them know.
