Do you know what it means by buy 3 get 1 free? Like would I have to purchase them all at once? or is it buy 3 over a a few days and get one free?

You have to buy them in one transaction.
And you have to pay with either a registered card or the Starbucks app.
Hey, I learned something the other dy, did u know that if you have like say only .58 on ur card & u have them debit only say .01 and pay cash for balance that u will get the credit toward ur stars, I was in a hurry and didn’t want to reload then order and pay.
I have lost out on many stars doing that but not always.
I think as long as you swipe your card at the beginning of the transaction, it does not matter if you have any money left on it– you can pay the whole thing in cash & still get your star.
I believe from reading it as a one time use coupon meant for you and 3 friends that all 4 have to be purchased at once. It’s by far one of the worst promotions I’ve seen Starbucks do in my opinion.
I agree considering they are sooo expensive. Guess they are trying to ease the pain for those that already pay that much for that drink!

I did not receive this offer, but agree the B3G1 Free Frappuccino Offer is a poor promo. I don’t know many people who would purchase FOUR Frappuccino’s at the same time. Too pricey and too many other options individuals may prefer. Personally I would love to see a promotion that involves their other espresso drinks (iced or hot).
On the flip side an extra Bonus Star is awesome!!!
The Frappuccinos also have a gob of calories. I am trying to make healthier choices, so I am sticking to a lower calorie treat!
i’m actually excited about this one. we don’t drink coffee in my family, but we love the cream based fraps at starbucks. my mom, sister, and i go coupon shopping together and bring our kids along. this promo sounds great because we can go get a treat while we’re out shopping and instead of sharing our own drinks with the kids like we usually do, we can get the free one for the kids to share.
This is a money saving blog so let’s break this down. If you happen to find 3 other friends that all agree to get a frappuccino, instead of a drink at $4 each for $16 total, you get 4 drinks for $12. Each of you pays $3, which is still in my opinion overpriced. Wow, a whole dollar saved!
Also if you bought three frapps and ordered sep each friend would get a star, this promo is not about helping customers it’s about soliciting more revenue, gets u to bring have 3 people in then must be ordered together so only giving out reduced stars 🙁 n plus if you bring 3 people in increased chance of capital ing on them buying something in addition to frapp. Terrible promo.
Perhaps the timing was for the holiday weekend? If timed right, purchased after 2p would gain the extra star. Too bad the offer is specific to buying 3 at once, rather than gaining a star for each transaction.

I have been signed up for Starbucks rewards, emails & texts for awhile. I have 13 stars. Can’t figure out why inever get offered these deals to my account that you post about, Collin. Thoughts anyone?
Double check that your email address is correct. All it takes is one minor typo to be missing great deals. Good luck!
Get the app. Whenever you look at your star history, it will tell you about the promos. I didn’t get the email, but the code is there for me.
THANK YOU Ashley Eileen!!! I HAD NO IDEA!!!!! I wonder how many other promotions I missed out on??? I haven’t been getting any direct emails or messages in the app. (other than free song downloads)! And like Pdxsong above^ mentioned was frustrated cause I never get “deal” offers. It wasn’t until today I went in the app. and clicked my “Account History” that I see the B3G1 Offer was added/uploaded to me yesterday!!! (I was hoping for Bonus Stars. Oh Well!) The only bummer is, you cannot click on it for details. And it’s a little odd I don’t receive notifications cause I have set up my account to receive emails. Hmmm … Sneaky, sneaky. LOL!!!

Free song downloads? I don’t have a smartphone so don’t have the app. How do you get the free song downloads? I go into the stores to get the free iTunes cards, but they often don’t put out the new ones.
On a different Starbucks subject: Does anyone know where to find out how you are doing in the Star Dash that is going on right now for some? Usually you can see online but I haven’t been able to find anything this time.
I have the same issue.Just look at ur reward history.The Star Dash started on 5/14 so I just count how many stars I have from that day forward.HTH
According the Starbucks (I emailed cust serv), there’s no widget on the rewards page for tallying your stars earned during the Summer Dash the way there usually is for the dashes. So, yeah, just keep track until it’s over (on the 27th, I think).
My friend and I have different dashes. Hers ends 27th & mine ends 28

No bonus stars or any stars for a free purchase. If you get your free drink and buy something else, you get a star for that purchase.

I have noticed that since the new app came out starbucks coupons and promos have sucked. I really miss free soy too!
It’s great being a rewards member getting all the discounts & stars leading up to free drinks. I only use the discounts if they’re worth it, I might add. Yesterday, I rec’d. 4 stars by going to 2 different locations after 2pm. I bought a tall decaf iced coffee($2.11 total w/tax), brought my own creamer & sat for a few minutes. After I finished it, I got a free refill since I have a Gold card. After doing errands, I met up w/my husband & purchased a frap so I rec’d. 2 more stars. Today I purchased a hot coffee($1.95 w/tax) after 2pm at Target’s Starbucks cafe, again bringing my own creamer. Got a free refill again so that’s 6 stars in 2 days!! I’ve already got a free drink since I hit 12 stars(Gold card) PLUS w/the star dash, I’ll receive 2 free drinks after 2 visits(after 2pm) since Sbks gives you 20 bonus stars after 15 stars. 🙂
