What goes into making our Sofritas?
We start with organic tofu from Hodo Soy that we shred and then braise with chipotle chilis, roasted poblanos, and a blend of aromatic spices. The result is a delicious, spicy tofu that will give vegans and carnivores something they both will love.

Thanks, Frankie, for posting the extra information. Saved me some time and effort in trying to get this.

At first I didn’t think it would work for me because I live in Illinois, but then I noticed “Chicago area.” Hopefully my town will accept it.

    • Cat

My coupon does not require a purchase …just straight up free.

  16. Anna

Hmmm…. made with tofu. I did a food allergy test a few years ago, I’m allergic to soy. I’m not crazy strict about it, but I don’t know if it’s worth eating tofu.

    • fedai

LOL…you can ask for it on the side! My whole family got it..asked for it on the side, so basically got a veggie bowl and even added Gac…didn’t even get charged for the Gauc!

They make their burritos into a super big ball that when I eat one I feel as though I am at a trough. Thumbs down for treating me like a farm animal!

Hey but I do like free! So thanks hip2save!

I make the most amazing and easy homemade burritos (I can’t cook so they are good and easy) I suppose you could use tofu if you were so inclined…. I make them three ways 1) chicken) 3 chicken breasts diced and cooked, one can rotel w/ green chili tomatoes, 1 can white chili beans, 1 jar herdez salsa verde, 1 cup cooked rice….wrap in tortillas bake 30 mins on 400. This makes about 16 big burritos. 2) ground beef) 1 pound package, 1 can pinto beans, half jar herdez salsa red, half can of green chilis, 1/2 cup cooked rice, 1 cup shredded cheese….wrap in tortillas bake about 30 mins on 400 this makes about 9 big burritos. 3) steak) 2 pounds thin strip steak cubed and cooked, 1 can black beans, 3/4 jar herdez salsa, 1 cat rotel tomatoes w/green chilis, cilantro, 1 cup cooked rice…wrap in tortillas bake about 30 mins on 400 this makes about 10 big burritos. serve them with guacamole and they are phenominal

    • shop4mybabies

that would be “1 can” not “1 cat” cat is the 4th way I make them 😉

      • michelle

        Thanks!
