Thanks for trying to explain, but I just still don’t get it. She has 2 Tide coupons, 2 RRs, and 1 Dawn coupon; that equals 5 “coupons”. She is buying 4 Tide items and 1 Dawn item; that equals 5 “items”. I did graduate Magna Cum Laude and didn’t think I was this stupid, but I want to understand exactly how this works so that I don’t embarrass myself in the Walgreen’s line. LOL

You can buy 4, 2 will be free and get the points. This is a quantity deal. If it were a “spend” type deal, then the free items will not count.
For the wexford folder in ad deal, would I have to get all 6 or could I get just 2 or 3?

It has been WAY too long since they did a BOGO sale. We’re in that weird “potty training but not potty training” phase, so I keep only buying a few packs at a time, in hopes that training will kick-start and we’ll get out of diapers. Isn’t the P & G rebate only valid if you spend $30 after coupons and discounts? I read that on the mail-in form? Therefore would the Walgreen scenario above not be valid since you didn’t spend $30 after the coupons were taken off? Anyone know if you can use two different receipts to add together for the $30 total, such as a $20 Walmart P & G receipt and a $11 Walgreen P & G receipt (totals after coupons) to combine for the $30 purchase? Alison, yes you can use multiple receipts for the rebate. The total needs to be $30 after coupon and discounts, so you can use this deal mentioned above and your Walmart receipt.

How long will the people magazine and the starbucks drink be offered till?
According to the Walgreens website, the closest stores to me: only 1 of 3 has the Gold Peak in stock. Embarrassing if they can’t offer advertised merchandise on Day 1 of a sale.
I went to WG purchased 4 Tides and 1 dawn just as the scenerio said … used 4 150/1 tide coupons and a .25/1 dawn coupon …. and did not give my points . Was it bc my total wasnt over 20.00 after coupons ?
Unless you are commenting on a shopping trip you made at a 24 hour store after midnight, you shopped too early and the deal wasn’t available yet. These deals officially start on Sunday, 7/6.
I had the same outcome. Bought 4 tides and one dawn and no rewards at 11:00 am Sunday. Not sure why? I had just bought the same deal 10 minutes earlier and got the 5000 points. The manager told me that there is a one per customer limit. I am not sure this is true, however, cause he seemed confused and gave me 5.00 to cover it. Does anyone know if this is true.

I purchased 6 bottles of pantene equaling $21 before coupons. I used 2 of the $5 off 3 coupons. Plus. Purchased the tide pods for $4.99 and used the $2 off coupon. I didn’t get the 5000 points either. Didn’t realize it till I got home. But then thought it was because I also used a store coupon that said “$2.00 off your next purchase”. I figured the store coupon voided out the points. But maybe not because others are having problems??

You can use the points to pay for the tide and dawn. But then you won’t earn the 5000 points for that transaction.

I bought the mitchum and got my points, I bought 4 and used 4 $2 coupons, but I read in another site that the bonus ones (25% more) were not giving the points. I only bought the regular ones.
For those not receiving expected points, you may want to call Walgreens Balance Rewards (1-800-925-4733 opt. 3), have your receipt, and explain the deal you were trying to accomplish. Maybe they will empathize and graciously credit you with points. It’s worth a try. Hope it works!

OK, so I just made a rookie mistake at Walgreens. I thought if there was a sale item like Coca-cola products on sale for 3/$10, that didn’t actually mean you had to buy all 3 items to get that price. Like at Kroger when a sale is 10 for $10 you don’t have to buy all 10 items to get the $1 price, you can just buy one. So disappointed in the trip I just made. Made the same mistake on the Chobani 5/$5 sale. I don’t like that policy. Boo
